  1. Looks very realistic with all those details, would be nice to see some more details of the solutions inside the trailer Cool to learn about the simple steering solutions, would like to add that the axles of the real trailer use air suspension balloons for suspension as shown in your video.
  2. Fantastic job to build this model of @Lipko! I like the skeletal framework for the cross-section appearance, did you found the time to update the io file while building? Still on my wish list to build this two-seater.
  3. Was a bit confused, because what will happen to the two middle wheels which are not steered when doing a 360. I assume the 4 steered wheel wil have to make an angle of almost 90 degrees.. The back of the box explains everything, wrong assumption…
  4. Agreed, see https://mars.nasa.gov/mars2020/spacecraft/rover/wheels/
  5. Congrats to the winners, well deserved! It was a close battle for the podium places! Thanks for organising everything @Milan and @Jim, it gives me the motivation to build and finish something!
  6. Really interesting, reading more about the real thing and compare this with this model: https://mars.nasa.gov/mars2020/spacecraft/rover/wheels/
  7. Excited! This is what I want from a Technic set, must buy for me. For the set, for all the nice parts, and I’m expecting some interesting alternatives!
  8. That's why I love this forum so much, there aren't that many people in real life I can talk to about moulding marks otherwise. And I have to admit, I pay attention to it too...
  9. Yes, upscaling a small model seems like a good idea for a separate contest I think...
  10. Good idea, I'm in, and this way our members in the southern hemisphere also have something to do in the winter. Thanks for bringing it in again @Ngoc Nguyen!
  11. Finished this bird after it has been sitting on my desk for more then a month. Thanks @Jim for the deadline Added the following this week: Lever/linkage to control the rams; Lever/linkage to control the adjustable fin; Openable tailgate; Arial size 85 number "4" stickers. Hand-cut from self-adhesive film; Detailed cockpit with some greeble and fake flight controls. I have an unfinished studio file, please let me know if you want instructions... Was wondering if Thunderbirds is as famous in other countries as in The Netherlands.... There was just enough daylight at this rainy afternoon for some photos:
  12. Can I have until Saturday to finish my Thunderbird? There are still some rough edges and a clear deadline helps :)
  13. Thank you for presenting your garbage truck. Impressive! This is a model that is just super educational, and very playable. Well done!
  14. And if you've made the 5 models, there is also a nice book by Yoshihito Isogawa: https://www.amazon.nl/Lego-Boost-Idea-Book-Simple/dp/1593279841
  15. Agreed, my daughter has had lots of fun playing and building this sets and the different models.
  16. Thanks for the heads up, time flies and haven't been able to work on it as much as I'd like. In any case, I did an entry post , I'll see if I can add something to it.
  17. Thunderbird 4 Intergalactic In an unspecified year sometime in the future, the top-secret Intergalactical Rescue department of the Space Police is established to save people in mortal danger with the aid of technologically-advanced rescue vehicles and equipment known as the Thunderbirds. Thunderbird 4 Intergalactic (TB4I) is Intergalactical Rescue's go-to vehicle for rescues in all kind of liquids. Features: Lever/linkage controlled rams incorporating electromagnetic pads; Lever/linkage adjustable fin; Openable tailgate; Handmade stickers; Detailed cockpit.
  18. Really weird indeed, there is a good chance that this is a one-off incident. The white Liftarm isn't used in any 2023 set, but is used in nine 2022 sets, strange... just finished mine, no problems here
  19. Nice, a lot of functions packed into this attachment, I really like the quick attachment lock, very elegant with the cam pieces!
  20. Thanks, yes, memories from long time ago Yes, it was nice to draw with red when she was a Studio Queen (thanks @MCD, its indeed fantastic). No internals yet, I've an empty fuselage on my desk, started with some mechanisms, but having lot's of space inside makes it difficult to choose, lots of possibilities!
  21. Some progress here, ordered pieces have arrived and this is the bird so far. Next is going to add the features, most of them will be at the frond, but not sure were I should put the control knobs, maybe at the underside, or just some levers. I'm not sure if I add the Halogen Lighting Bar because the prototypes are far the bulky and this intergalactic version could use some more efficient solution :). I'm going to add the Hydraulic Rams and the missiles for sure! Also some sort of flight controls are high on the list. Furthermore, I need to tweak the design a bit, and there are some rough edges here and there, but happy with the current result. Thunderbirds Are Go!
  22. True, but I think this often is a pain point for people wanting to start with creating there own Lego models...
  23. It helps to have all your parts organized... don't you think?
