    I'm really curious if this upcoming set will have more or less the same piece count and would have a large roster of minifigs like Rivendell.

    I would not mind it. Although it will be somewhat competing with the Bugle and upcoming Avengers Towers.

    Not quite my thing, but they do look well made. These would be great for housing all the zombie/ monsters from the CMFs!

    Yup, only the piece count seems to be a 'confirmed rumor'. Let me add my speculation: a) it can indeed be a large building, or b) perhaps a regular building with an expansive grounds, like a promenade, or driveway, or park, or flea market, etc. The latter would work with an inverted corner build.

    It is about time that we have a: 1) Dentist (or perhaps physician - we've only had a surgeon and nurse) 2) Lion Suit 3) Mail carrier 4) Medieval farmer/ villager (to celebrate the upcoming set) 5) Moonwalk astronaut (celebrating space theme year) 6) The Good Witch (we've had so many wicked witches and wizards already!) 7) Male Rococo aristocrat 8) Goat herder (with at least THREE goats in DIFFERENT colors!!! LOL) 9) Olympian god (Zeus...about time) 10) Beast-form prince (Disney line is missing Beauty and the Beast. LOL) 11) Gundam suit guy. 12) Tomato costume.

    I don't mind an expensive piece if it is a masterpiece! Just like Rivendell!

    Brick Clicker is speculating that it is probably 200+. I can see that with that piece count, plus the fact that the 100 gwp is coming back at around 100+ threshold. Hoping the Sanderson house qualifies and I'm glad I hadn't bought that yet.

    Brick clicker speculated that hospital might be one of the possibilities if it were that big... I agree that Post Office could be a possibility as well. Just pure speculation on my part. Lego has re-done sets for Castle, Forestmen (gwp), Black Falcons, Pirates, Space. Isn't Octan/ City another classic theme that has yet to be done? It is the only theme featured as a gold coin not yet done as a set remake.

    Lego made a huge set out of the Little Mermaid re-make during a time (Disney 100) that collectors are expecting classics. I wonder what Lego's conclusions were. LOL I think X-Men sets have long been wanted that the Mansion, if the build is decent, should sell well. But with cost of living also going up, it may disenfranchise a lot of fans. I do think the market is there, but I don't think it is quite to the level of anticipation as the recent Rivendell set.

    No way they're gonna make a competing set. They've already released two 'Japanese' sets one after another. Perhaps they could consider the Grand Palace in Bangkok, or the Forbidden City in Beijing.

    Good point! Someone posted earlier that the first sets in this series are quite old, hard to find, and needs to be re-made! The link I posted earlier did not go through, so here is a MOC I found on RB of a Chinese restaurant: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-158066/LEt.sGO/chinese-restaurant/#details I think that is more 'westernized' in that it is a formal restaurant. I wish Lego could make one of those informal ones you see at the ground floor of narrow buildings in Asia - the kind that sells Chinese bbq/ cold cuts that are hanging by the window. Growing up, I've often seen Lion and Dragon dances in the narrow streets in front of these buildings, with food carts/ hawkers around.

    Would have to agree that the 'Western' theme is most likely a no-go for Lego. I would really love it though! I think the other controversy is that Western-themed movie where someone got shot. I really wanted that Western-themed BL Designer program MOC that they pushed back then kinda 'lost' votes.

    I really wonder if the X-jet and X-mansion are the the only sets we will get for X-men? After all, it is a series that Lego is promoting, so shouldn't some scenes be depicted in smaller sets throughout the year? Perhaps two or three small sets???

    From those sets that @JeanGreyForever leaked, which ones have been confirmed? It seems like it has just been the medieval village? Licensed items are usually iffy...

    What’s up with all the venomized characters? Venomized this and that…goodness forbid that Lego starts making venomized Cinderella and venomized Yoda.

    I wonder if those might be themes that have never been featured before or possibly follow-up sets to those released this year? That being said, I wonder if these might feature repeat minifigs? Lego just loves that!

    From the single photo, it looks a bit like it's just the facade. I was hoping it was going to be more substantial.
