    I would welcome any new Disney Minifig, but really doubt Lego would include one in any buildable-character display piece.

    Looks great! Sets like those make me both happy and sad! Happy to see an homage to B&B. Sad because there are no existing minifigs to display it with. :( That fellow also did a good MOC of the Cinderella castle in microscale!

    Maybe I would not really mind those so much as long as we still get minifig scale sets, and actual minifigs on all sets. LOL

    City of Lanterns by itself was great! I was hoping sets like the Flower Fruit Mt and Dragon of the East Palace could be fit neatly into baseplates.

    I almost feel like that Lego is sort of running out of ideas for CNY. Last year they made those display pieces which were nice, but could have used some minifigs in some way.

    Unless perhaps Lego designs two consecutive (year) sets that are meant to be connected together. Although unlikely.

    I really wish some of the MK sets could be 'modularized' in some way so they can be displayed together.

    If Lego would, I'll guess not this coming year? They're already releasing that castle village, and 2024 will be dedicated to the space theme.

    Pre- ordered mine! Can't wait for MOCs on RB to make a village and possible dock for the viking ship! I'd probably have the Goatboat 'float' on top of the whole village. LOL

    I am actually going to bet that there is going to be some form of reuse, at the very least, if not an outright repeat. Perhaps reusing a part of the Wolverine CMF into a 'new' Wolverine design? An outright repeat of a character but with a completely different or slightly different design (as mentioned, perhaps Storm in leather jacket). Or an actual reuse/ repeat of a whole CMF minifig itself. Would anyone bet that the four will be completely different, unreleased characters? The Hasbro X-Jet had Storm in it.

    I honestly couldn't stop admiring those palm trees! Great MOC, overall!

    Honestly, I had always been tempted to buy the Encanto sets as they looked really good. But then I would not have any minifigs to populate it with. I agree that the structures look well made. But who to put in them? Mini dolls are not for me.

    There are online sellers out there that sell these as complete sets. I wonder if the fact that you are not guaranteed 3 complete sets in a box will drive up the price of a complete set from these retailers?

    Ditto. I wonder how many minifigs they will remove from that roster before it makes it to the final build. I don't expect them to release Belle here. Too wanted. Too exclusive. Too good to be true. I feel Lego is trying to please both minifig and minidoll lovers with one product by leaving out any fig. Thank you, Lego for saving us from making another purchase this time of the year!

    Don't know where to post this, but I am just curious if Lego would make 'vintage' Octan theme set? I am not a particular fan but this just crossed my mind. Lego released those collectible 'coins' some time back: Space, Castle, Pirates, and Octan. It seems that they have already released revival sets for the first three, including some subthemes, I'm wondering if there might be an "Octan/ City"set classic that could join these recent sets?

    Funny how the Sanctum got included there... that Legozilla probably came out from one of the portals! LOL

    GWPs don't usually come with that many minifigs usually, no? Then again, it is just one main character plus three supporting ones/ bystander, it seems.

    Wolverine with an epaulet-body wear. LOL. Wonder how much the minifigs will turn out on BL. What's the worst that this set could be? All three minifigs from the CMF are repeated - there is only one new minifig and this will end up being repeated in a future set! LOL That can possibly happen. Then it's instant death of the Lego X-men line. Sad.

    Was looking at the list of Bricklink Designer Program finalists and there really isn't a modular building. I suppose you can consider the translation, but it is more of a freestanding one, no? I wonder if Lego generally doesn't want any competition whatsoever to its own modular line that only comes once a year???
