There was that time not too long ago that they were releasing one Hulkbuster after another. LOL It almost seems like there are multiple Marvel design teams within Lego who are all competing against each other. (Also there was that Batcave shadowbox with almost the same car as the standalone release!)

I am tempted to buy a few modulars to keep sealed and sell at a later date. Hmm...

They even have a copy-cat of Rivendell entitle "...Lorded of Rings..." LOL One of the photos is even from Lego!!!

What other retro themes are pending? So far, they have done: Black Falcons Lion Knights Forestmen (GWP) Pirates Classic Space Blacktron (GWP) ...maybe the next modular is going to be a retro. LOL

I feel like the latest BAM release has been just a random combo of some wanted parts. It used to be that the BAM releases were almost a CMF unto itself.

So, X-men is getting the DC-universe treatment from Lego. Sigh.

I think Lego could churn something out every year for October release (UN Day) and even come up with a minifig series of its own!!!

Well, there you go... Lion Knights was/ is quite popular and it is not a surprise they have a follow up set so soon. One can argue that the Medieval Blacksmith was a set they used to test the waters. Perhaps, with the positive reviews for this Vikings set, Lego would consider having a follow up set quite soon?

Maybe in another two or three years? We got Lion Knights castle just a few years ago, and next year, the Medieval village is coming. We got an Ideas pirate set just some years back, and just recently, we got El Dorado.

Ooooh, crossover of Castle and Vikings themes! Maybe 'raid' would be an off-limits topic to Lego now, but perhaps a friendly 'trade'? LOL They should do some sort of Castle and Pirates crossover too!

We got a ship, now a small village... wonder what could be next? I'm excited!!! A longhouse/ mead hall? Maybe they can feature some old Viking folklore that include Odin, etc... or have those been 'copyrighted' by Marvel, inc?

Let's just have United Nations!!! LOL I really think Lego should make something for UN Day (I guess too soon for this year as it will already be in a couple weeks), and feature various countries in some of their iconic costumes, same way as the pretzel couple, kimono girl and the keychain china girl.

Thank you both for suggestions! Most of the modulars fit, except the large ones so I am hoping I could fit multiple vehicles in using some acrylic stands.

As the title says, which are your top 12 minifig-scale vehicles (or sceneries with vehicles) that Lego has made into an official set? I have an Ikea Kallax with 16 cubbies that I just assembled. I placed inserts at the lower 4 to convert them into storage. Meanwhile, I purchased a third-party acrylic window pane to make them dust-tight. If you had the same display, which 12 sets would you display? So far, I'm thinking of the following: -Trench run with X-Wing (75301) and Tie Fighter (75300) -Yavin IV (75365) but perhaps using Y-Wing (75172)

I would prefer my regular CMFs to be yellow-toned!!! The CMFs are one source of characters for my modulars which have always been uniformly yellow! Let SW, Disney, LOTR, Marvel, etc. get the skin tones!

I don't mind Western-themed CMFs. Perhaps a Saloon singer/ stagecoach lady. That's sorta western but not cowboy-esque. LOL The stereotype of these cowboys movies is about some revolver-wielding white people defending their lands against Mexicans and Native Americans. But the real context is that people in America arrived in the East and migrated to the West. Instead of propagating stereotypes of cowboy defenders and evil 'other people', perhaps Lego could just re-tell the story of the migration to the West. How about a medicine woman? How about a re-telling of the Oregon trail? Lewis and Clark expedition? George Vancouver's expedition? There are countless types of merchants, salmon-fishers, settlers that could be commemorated. Lego has done a Geisha and a Flamenco dancer. I know these are not exactly based on national costumes, but Lego should seriously think about some iconic national costumes. Thai/ Cambodian traditional dancer, or a lady in a kebaya. Oh, Lego did make that pretzel girl and a taco guy. Someone here would make images of possible CMFs and that Thai dancer was among there. What should we call it, 'pad thai lady' or 'tom yum girl'? LOL Perhaps Lego could make a CMF with non-yellow figures but celebrating some national costumes to coincide with the anniversary of the United Nations, for example. Or is even that too 'controversial' for Lego. (roll eyes)

I think a school, stadium, market, hospital or theater would be candidates for something that has plenty of those, only because these types of buildings would normally attract people of great diversity. Stadium and theater on the other hand would probably not have as much opportunity for story-telling as the other scenarios.

We need this! And a walker for the elderly. Not quite a disability, but I would like to see a home CPAP/ BIPAP machine.

Bought some SW sets in the past from Amazon and some of them were shipped 'as-is' with just a label slapped on the box itself! Of course the entire box was scratched and dented! Some sets I have bought were not padded inside the boxes as well. We've had the invasion of the mini-dolls in the Disney line. I'm just so glad we have not had them in LOTR or Marvel/DC!

I really wish that Lego would give some classic comics costumes/ characters/ scenes some attention. X-men '97 is probably one of the few non-MCU realms remaining...
