This might just make a great GWP!

Love this! All it needs are sails and some sailors!

[ENTRY] Cross Bone Clipper Remake UPDATED!
hikouki replied to Elephant Knight's topic in Pirate MOCs
I like the size of this boat. Perhaps add another sail as it looks like it could have one more. -
Gruesome but at the same time a bit funny. Perhaps add some background scenery like a hut or a cave?
-
Really small but I do like the use of the sail elements. Perhaps add another soldier?

[ENTRY] 6260/6257 Pirates - Shipwreck Island/ Castaway's Raft Remake
hikouki replied to _R_R_'s topic in Pirate MOCs
I love your build for the island and the raft. The raised platform giving it the impression of a sandy beach looks great. Perhaps add a hut behind the boardwalk to complete the vignette. -
Perhaps arrange them on a blue baseplate so the vignettes are not strewn all over?
-
Perhaps add some more barrels and soldiers?

[ENTRY] Remake of 6234 Renegade’s Raft
hikouki replied to SevenDeadlyStreamers's topic in Pirate MOCs
Cute build. Perhaps having an extra row of barrels then centering the actual platform might make it a bit more balanced, at the same time allowing for some extra room? -
I stand corrected! So I guess it is the medium legs we are missing???

Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
hikouki replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
The Hasbro X-jet features Storm. I'm guessing we'll probably get a repeat of at least Storm. Sure she can fly the jet, but also fly alongside it. That way, Lego has an excuse not to make 4 minifigs fit inside. If the 4th minifig is a villain, then there's the perfect excuse why the build is small. LOL -
We've not had a Spaceman in statuette, microfig (game piece), or short legs forms. We've had that rocket costume kid but I believe he had midi legs, although those were dark bluish gray.

Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
hikouki replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I have low expectations for minifig inclusions/ count on upcoming Lego sets. I am hopeful though. After all, Lego only put four princess + prince in the castle, and one of them was a repeat. I think unless it is SW, Lego seems conservative, or maybe rather stingy. At least there is now a catalog number for the X-Jet. So we definitely know that the X-men are on Lego's radar. I am hoping the X-mansion ends up being a big enough D2C. -

Agree that there should be a buildable Sentinel. Now that they are building mechs with better articulation and form, it should be much better than the previous Sentinel! Hopefully more sets!!! X-Men battles Sentinels!!! LOL ^^^Original "leak" on page 14 of this thread. Gambit and Jubilee perhaps will be in the X-Jet set? -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 25. Rumors and discussion

How big are the interior dimensions of these boxes and will it end up being a limiting factor in the size/ dimensions of a part they could place inside? Some really bulky parts I could think of are the shark head costume, Ursula tentacles.- 574 replies

Google the voice actors confirmed so far for the show and that should give you a roster of characters as well. -

I’m already expecting Lego to be re-using the exact same X-Men minifigs from the CMFs to other sets. There was already a precedent when they repurposed Tiana from the Disney CMF to the castle. -

Some leaker (can't remember if from IG or Reddit) mentioned that Lego plans on producing all the 'main cast' characters of x-Men 97 between the two sets. I'm guessing Wolverine and Beast will be repeats in the X-Mansion, and Storm perhaps on the X-Jet? -
Yes!!! No. 1 on my list is Bright Light Blue spaceman!!! And a formal Light Bluish Gray tank. It would be fun if they would feature one character from each of the Space sub-themes. Not a fan of Aliens but as long as it is no more than one figure. LOL

The Rivendell and Bugle were all expensive but the size and features justified the price. The Xjet better be amazing. -

Definitely getting one, perhaps even two... Will make one into a A320neo and another one into a MD-90. I haven't figured out how I will modify the engine intakes though. The fans should be inset and not flat mounted at the front. -

For that price, it better have some really amazing features, or at least come with a bunch of really really very much wanted minifigs. The Hasbro X-jet looks pretty puny. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 25. Rumors and discussion

Not trying to be off-topic or de-rail the conversation. But are boxes really going to be environmentally friendlier than the foil/ plastic packs? The boxes (at least for the Marvel CMF) are heavily printed. How much more environmentally-friendly and sustainable is the whole process of packaging them? I'm guessing it takes up much more space as well - and takes up much more real estate during transport? Overall, how much more sustainable are all these factors vs the existing plastics? I am all for environmentally-friendly packaging. But just because something is paper and not plastic, does not necessarily mean it takes less materials to produce, produce less waste, and makes less CO2 when accounting for transport. Perhaps it would have been better if Lego packaged them in "regular" paper with minimal printing, just like the new paper packaging inside the boxes for newer sets. I also do think this will make it easier for retailers and collectors to decipher the contents - light could just be shone on one side and you could read the contents like X-ray. (And perhaps that is why Lego insisted on boxes?) That is a very good point! I would like a pirate-figure, sailor/ imperial soldier, and perhaps an islander. There looks to be much more real estate inside those boxes than the bags. Lego should fill them up! A soldier/ pirate shouldn't just come with a headgear, weapon and parrot... it better come with an actual cannon!!! Speaking of licensed figures... In the past, Lego made some figures that somewhat referenced some (upcoming) licensed themes or sets. There was that Ocean King (Triton from Little Mermaid). There were also some Elves and a Dwarf perhaps referencing LOTR. And an outright reference to an in-house theme, Monkey Kid! I wonder if they might do the same at some point??? Perhaps a... Dwarf who lives in a cottage? Prince looking for the sleeping princess? Good Witch? (We haven't seen any Glinda yet). King of Hearts? A supervillain Conqueror that could not be featured on the Marvel CMF because his real life actor is facing controversy? (LOL) A little person trying to find his way back to the Shire? Plumber or video game character (Super Mario reboot/ Zelda). I bet the set will have some figure that is space-themed! (Not another alien, please!)- 574 replies
