  1. Unique and refreshing! Great job!
  2. I suppose I will just keep getting my modulars from rebrickable then.
  3. And keep it at 18 figs at that!
  4. I really have this feeling that Lego has been "winging it" all this time. I think Rivendell was "testing the waters" and Barad-dur was "riding the wave", so to speak! LOL I feel like they might wait before releasing another set, although, as I have said, I do not mind at all if they release one early next year.
  5. Is Lego now committed in releasing a big set one year after another? I would not mind though.
  6. Probably not an X-men only CMF, unless the series ends up being a runaway box office hit, and there are also movies released one after another. But we could probably only hope that the next Marvel CMF give more real estate to X-men characters.
  7. Someone pointed out that the X mansion has the same footprint of the modular museum but 1k less parts. Somewhat worrying. However, could there be just a large hall inside? The fact that it is modular, this will probably be a day one purchase for me, and just because I am also an Xmen fan.
  8. I am planning on displaying them, grouped in frames. I already ordered bespoke movie-like backgrounds from an Etsy seller.
  9. I know it is not Disney but the Marvel Hoopty was 89.99 with only three minifigs - two exclusives. I could see Lego trying to get away with only three minifigs with this set, and I am even thinking two of them will be repeats from the Target set.
  10. Good point. Totally forgot about the Target set. I think for that Target set, they will probably reduce the number of themes featured. Say only Sorcerer Mickey, Lilo & Stich, one more, instead of the four or five on the original submission. Then this Lilo and Stitch set will already have one repeat minifig. Jumba = bigfig? Pleakley = brickbuilt. LOL Or just slap the head onto a new body. Still less development cost. LOL
  11. How many minifigs could we expect for this set? 3 or 4? The Peter Pan set was $60 with three minifigs but two were repeats and one exclusive (so far). Would they repeat the recent Stitch CMF? Or recolor? With a $90 price tag, and if it were all new and exclusive minifigs, I can't imagine there to be that many or it being a substantial build. Would very much welcome a Lilo minifig though!
  12. I don't mind watching the movies again, although this will take time to write them all down. Sometimes, I feel that there are random characters that were just named retrospectively. I also tried playing subtitles but they don't always name the person with the said line.
  13. Yup, I started that thread and someone replied with that web site, but the minifigs are not in order though.
  14. I just watched episode 1 and I just can't believe all the elaborate costume changes that Natalie Portman went through for her character! I am surprised we have only had one Queen Amidala version! Lego should finally make a chrome starship with at least another Amidala version! (and a couple of her servants and security officers to form an entourage).
  15. Might anyone know of a web site that lists the SW characters in the order that they appear in the movies, especially for each of the original trilogy? I wanted to feature my minifigs in that order. Thanks!
  16. I would not say no to that...
  17. I wonder if they’ll ever release the Delorean and/ or Knightrider in this series…
  18. LOL Missed that one! Come to think of it, Orion probably could be in this group as well. Was hoping for another god or demi-god.
  19. Never seen or played this game... but I have made up my mind long time ago that I will be getting this. Thanks for posting this video - it almost feels like Lego pulled out all the stops on developing this CMF series, with all the printing, new moulds, recolors and including alternate heads. (Now, why can't they do this for Disney? LOL)
  20. Really hoping someone eventually posts the parts list for doing that on BL. LOL
  21. Exactly!!! Sometimes I wonder if all the references are potential projects being developed and many of them end up being canceled or shelved at some point.
  22. I think flying over a village with presents is a great concept! Something different compared to the previous years. I think Lego has a steep mountain to climb with this concept IMHO because if they are not successful in making a great build or vignette, I fear that having this balloon will take piece count away from a potentially better building. But will hold judgement until reveal date. The hot air balloons there are not bad. I would go for the smaller basket so that there is more piece count for the building. LOL
