  1. Aside of that I still think Helms Deep as the next set is not the likeliest option, I´d say the Prancing Pony at 120$ seems unlikely, at least as an icons set.
  2. I would be really glad if we could leave talk like that to politicians and out of our hobby and just respect each others preferences. If someone likes to buy sets from Cada, Matell or Cobi that is their own decision and I don´t care a bit about it. Everyone can make their own decisions. But at the same time, it is also my own decision to stay with Lego - you don´t need to like that, but that is your problem - calling others fanboy though, is another thing, which is clearly not considered nice - neither is implying that only people open for other brands are open for innovation and creativity - just have a look at all the awesome mocs in this forum made out of Lego... Well, I´d say Gobricks is the manufacturer and they clearly know what MouldKing is doing with their bricks, so they should get the same threatment. Also, how does it work anyways, I would guess GoBricks also does the packaging in their factory or are they just sending containers full of a single type of brick to mould king and they do the rest?
  3. Well, I´d guess it depends on the leak. I´d forbid watermarked pictures, as they are property of TLG and they will have them removed anyways. Everything else should be fine, and if Lego doesn´t want those stuff here, well they should have accepted EB to their new partner programm. In the end it will just make discussing leaks easier, as you can now simply link to leaks on reddit etc.
  4. It was a Multivote, wasn´t it? So to me that Argument doesn´t really stand a chance ;). But as I said before, I can very well live with #2
  5. Personally I wouldn´t even care if they produce those sets or just sell them, as they as a company clearly just don´t care about other companies IPs, nor Fan Designers work as long as they can make money with it - but that aside, it isn´t like they would only sell other companies products, but enough of their own products a pirating others intellectual property aswell. Well, discussions like this happen in different places right now, because several communities didn´t get accepeted and some people mentioned that they would like to keep things like they are there, because they were in other discords and forums and the tone there hasn´t been that well - so I would guess they do actually exist ;) Well probably Lego forums that opened up to other companies, but would be really surprised if you can´t find anything out there. And if there are not, that probably speaks for their demand. ;) This topic is about what the community wants, not what a company wants. We owe them nothing is pretty much a dead-end argument. Still is probably the wrong wording, given that #1 had the lead for quite a while ;).
  6. I voted for option 1. Personally I have no interest in other brands, so there is that. Could life well with option two, since I can simply press the dedicated subforum as read with a single click, but in the end, I don´t really see a difference between that option and how it is now honestly, aside that those topics wouldn´t be in the community forum anymore. I don´t really see demand for option 3, given how low the interest for the dedicated threads in community is already. In the end this is a Lego forum, and most people wanting to discuss other brands probably do that in dedicated forums already, where a bigger community for those brands exists. The option that would really put me off is number 4. Having everything mixed sounds like the ultimate doom to me, looking into a forum just to see there are only new topics that you have zero interest for - no thanks. I totally prefer a clear structure. One thing I want to add towards the standart it will be quite hard to determine for people which brands are good and bad ones. Best example for instance is the examples already listed: While Bluebrixx does pay designers, they also have a history of selling stolen Mocs - honestly no idea if they still also do that, but they are not really on the good side here. Another example which would exlcude Bluebrixx from the good side.
  7. Quite surprised about it, as it seems to be a standalone set for now. Well, will be while before we see pictures.
  8. I don´t think they would use bird moulds for those birds, I mean compared to Pikachu and Evee they would be way to small, so I would expect an new, unique and especially bigger mould for them. At least in minifig-scale, if they would do a microscale- set and would want to include a pokemone there, that would probably be an option.
  9. Whether something is better or not is a very subjective matter though. That aside, if they are so much superior, I do wonder why a lot stuff they are selling are direct copies of Lego designs, if it is whole figures, or just parts. Personally, I don´t buy from companies violating other companies IPs (they surely don´t have the license for LotR or all the other stuff they sell) or Legos designs.
  10. Probably depends, since Lego animals and figures are no 1 to one copies anyways and have their own style, so at least the foal/unicorn piece would be a solid base, and since they are dual-moulded anyways, I wonder if they could just use a different mould for the mane - though probably you are right and they would rather make a new mould anyways, since there is also fire emerging from ponyta´s legs and while it would be easily recognizable without, probably the licensholders would want to have it included.
  11. No idea how it is in the US, but since you are surprised I guess discounts aren´t that commone then - over here they are pretty common. Anyways, East wing beeing 20$ discounted doesn´t really make it a better deal than buying at Lego, considering you getting points and a GWP there. That Target has to lower the prices to people even consider buying there doesn´t really surprise me.
  12. There is no own thread for it (because noone made one) but it has been discussed here:
  13. The GWP for X-Files along with a picture of the side of the box showing the minifigs leaked and apparently we are getting two more minifigs, namely Krycek and X. Well and of course also Scully in the GWP but that isn´t really a surprise IMO.
  14. The leak said every display set next year would get a tile and all we got so far is releases from January to May (with the Vader Art set not dated yet afaik). So we are still missing enough sets for next year, and even the first half year shouldn´t be complete, so there should be still enough sets left and there is no way they skip episode 3 - and as it seems even solo should get one.
  15. I wouldn´t say that is the case. Sometimes it is easier for them to bring back a mould or make a new one, in smaller Sets if there is ever going to be one for the later films ofc. Especially Sets like the Ministry need way more new parts so in the end the designers will decide which inclusions and changes they think are more important - personally, I do prefer an old beard and face print over unprinted skirts for instance. But on the other side, I don´t really care much about gambon/harris, as long as the figure looks like Dumbledore. Smaller sets on the other hand seem to get a bigger budget (not in total of course, but compared to the number of bricks/price) because they sell way more copies of those sets. So yeah, not getting the right beard and face (which I wouldn´t take as granted yet, as it wouldn´t be the first incomplete leak) now doesn´t have to mean we won´t get it at all.
