  1. Something I just noticed, the buwizz units may come loose as you drive, since nothing is stopping them moving. Looking forward to seeing it in action!
  2. Ive had similar issues but it helps me to be in areas with low interference and keep the phone and the controller close together. Could just be that, for you.
  3. You could probably use buwizz 2.0 instead since its lighter, if you have it. Each one of those is capable of powering a buggy motor. Though if you only have buwizz 3, thats a good solution. I like it a lot :) Did you do any top speed tests?
  4. Why the bigger wheel hubs? Otherwise everything looks pretty solid.
  5. Interesting, I would have expected higher. I guess the MK 4 port unit doesnt give enough power to each motor, and the smaller wheels are probably limiting you.
  6. I'm not 100% sure about this, im just guessing, but there probably is generic controller support. They have just tested those specific controllers and verified that they work, so they can be sure saying that those controllers work with the app, but not a generic controller. In some videos zerobricks uses a generic controller with a phone mount on top (I think its not main branded, anyway).
  7. Looks really good. Im curious where you got the instructions, when I looked i couldnt find them... though that could be due to geolocked content or my inability to understand Russian. Thanks for sharing the photos
  8. Glad to hear it all worked out :) Also, could you show some photos of that trophy truck? Im curious about it..
  9. I was looking back on this thread and saw this, did you see gooberreboot's model of this vehicle? https://youtu.be/XteYm7UqNvg https://youtu.be/_tIindMXeAI (not embedded to keep the post size down) Nice work making it so quickly. How does it drive in reality?
  10. I don't think one is better than the other, they both seemed to perform quite good. Good job making a fair test though!
  11. Any time :) Something to consider, have a look at Madoca1977's baja trucks front axle, it uses 9m suspension arms and steering links with only 1 stud between the arms in the middle. You could possibly make something similar... Have a good day!
  12. Sure, the steering links are shorter than the suspension arms, so as it moves through the travel the distance between the steering rack and the hub isn't constant, while the length of the link is, meaning it might splay out or in. Your suspension arms are 9 studs long while your steering link is 6 studs long. I only say that because the BW3 only has 2 PF ports, with BW2 it would work, you would just have to drive carefully to avoid tripping the protection. As for putting both motors on the same output with BW3, you would need a PF polarity switch to make the motors run the same direction, or genuine buggy motors and one rotated cable.
  13. Im loving the easy access to the buwizz on this one. One thing i noticed, the black framey looking bits on the bottom of the sides will probably break if they get hit, and the front steering will probably have issues. Otherwise, it looks like a really fun model, good job! Servo motor and 2 buggy motors on buwizz three though... you might not be able to get that to work..
  14. Green geckos one is a bit expensive, if you have soldering equipment it wouldn't be too hard to make your own.
  15. You would have to stack the PF XL motor cables, it could do it, but you might be better off with two for best performance.
  16. I agree, a tracked steer function like buwizz app would be fantastic. For me steering calibration in buwizz app is buggy and rarely works, but always works in BC2. The most important thing is setting the base angle accurately, in my experience. Not sure how a tracked steer module would be implemented, maybe in the same way as buwizz app where you set it up then assign the output to the mixer thing. BC2 has helped me a lot, so thanks Imurvai!
  17. This is most certainly not "another trophy truck". I'm tempted to say it has the best suspension setup of any Lego trophy truck I've ever seen. Great performance and looks. Maybe you could add custom stickers to give it a slightly more trophy truck look?
  18. Reminds me of a hotwheels car I had as a kid that was built around a golden toilet. Maybe you could make one of those to go with the bathtub dragster. And a sink and mirror to complete the series!
  19. I'm not going to pretend to have a comprehensive knowledge on this. If the website says something and the physical product says another thing, I think there's something wrong. However, I have never personally had an issue with the battery not lasting long enough, so I'm not really mad.
  20. I just opened a buwizz 3.0 that I received under a month ago, and inside it is an 800mah battery that is identical to the one in Sariel's video. Sorry for the vertical photo, apparently my phone didn't correct the rotation.
  21. I mean, all the cool supercars have carbon tub chassis.. right? So a bathtub isnt so far off!
  22. is that... built around a single bathtub piece... ? i love it.
