  1. My general rule and what most people seem to follow is a buwizz 3 can run 2 buggy motors at full power and a buwizz 2 can run 1 at full power reliably and 2 if youre super duper careful. With buwizz 3 you would also have to swap to a C+ L motor for steering. In my experience, after the firmware update, a buwizz 3 runs 2 buwizz motors completely fine and never cuts out. You just need to be a bit grown up with your driving, which took me a little bit. Gentle throttle and such. Hope this helps :)
  2. Perhaps you could turn them into a sculpture, if nothing else?
  3. A little humour never hurt anyone. This world could do with a bit more, go on!
  4. Nice work! Out of curiosity, do you know how much a MK 4 port unit weighs? Perhaps you could go faster with more power to weight. Regardless, 13km/h is still pretty quick and not to be scoffed at.
  5. That looks like it was handling really well. Did you encounter any issues? And, a side note, do you think it could fit 6 buwizz motors without too much modding?
  6. I (a complete novice) was printing within an hour.
  7. Wow, thats a really detailed build. I especially like the engine. Nice work! A shame you couldn't fit in the adjustable suspension, but I think that would have been a tall order at this scale and detail level. A great build!
  8. Building on 2GodBDGlory's post. I have a bambu lab P1S and if the A1 mini is anything like it, its definitely more of an appliance than another hobby. If you want something that "just works" then I think bambu lab might be the way to go.
  9. As I see it, a company getting licenses shows a commitment to quality and appealing to a wider audience, and a big company having time to license to a smaller one speaks volumes of their quality, to me. When CADA eventually gets big enough that you see their stuff in store shelves, licenses sell way better than unlicensed things. The technic line is living proof of this. Lego wouldnt pay all that money for licenses if it didn't pay itself back... right? I can confirm this is the first time hearing this, and it does sound weirder. Also not actually possible to do, unlike (I think) the other phrase.
  10. Looking amazing, I'm excited to see how you finish this.
  11. The app is called brickcontroller 2, and you need to set the motor function to "center steer" then click the red button with the gear and click "auto calibrate" or something like that. Hope you can get this working.
  12. Yep, I'm pretty sure thats also why an A to C cable is included rather than C to C.
  13. Yeeep, we exist. Hence why a weekend works better :)
  14. I was thinking midnight friday/00 saturday to midnight sunday/00 monday, all GMT
  15. Something people overlook, were you using usb c on both ends? USB c on both ends usually means the charger will only charge if it knows a device is present, you may need to charge it using a USB A to USB C cable. This also works when buwizz used to cut out when overloaded.
  16. A thought, something that can be built with just about all technic sets is cars. since most of them are just that :/ Another thing, digital submissions for those who prefer it or have limited collectios. You could record and time-lapse your build. Another potential challenge could just be "A B-model" for any set, since theres no prizes, it wouldnt matter much if someone used the 42100 or 42164 And finally, time limits. I think a weekend makes more sense because everyone will get at least one day. Could be one GMT weekend since all time zones are GMT + or - offset, hinting that GMT is 0. Though one NZT weekend would obviously favor me :))
  17. Thanks! A bit too much, perhaps. Thank you very much!
  18. I would like to take part in this. Also, perhaps 36 hours would make it fair so everyone can get "a day".
  19. Or just put motors in it from the get-go...
  20. Probably quite a while since that axle isnt really experiencing anything that could make it break, unless you accidentally run one of the motors the wrong way around. Theres other weak points that would break first like the diffs or cv joints.
  21. Looks awesome. I'm a huge fan of the greyhound, and it looks like you've done it again! Im excited to perhaps build it, it looks really sturdy.
  22. I'll be waiting to buy just the tires and potentially the rim covers. Its a shame TLG didnt add anything more unique to this, and IMO this set is meant for collectors and displayers more than builders. The tires almost make it tempting, but then everything else is fairly uninteresting. A daytona diff in the rear might have helped it sell more as a parts pack.
  23. Well, it doesnt need 4 motors... but the bodywork was pretty heavy and I wanted to see what I could get away with. As for the internal pillars, I usually always have those so that I can pick the model up by the roof, so yes, they're structurally vital. The external pillars are completely optional and can be removed. Thank you everybody for your praise!
  24. Thank you! Thanks! And yeahh it melted the axle between the diffs driving gear and the U joint this evening. Finally an excuse to take it apart, I've been waiting all day!
