  1. Thanks, the way the bodyline flows in the rear on the real car made it a lot easier on my model, because the wheel arches wouldn't be high enough otherwhise. You gotta be lucky sometimes Dont worry, I alredy know where I can get the taillight pieces in trans-red May I ask what you drive irl? I scaled the entire model around these wheels+wheel arches, so according to my blueprint everything is as close as I can get it. I think It might be the Porsche rims that look very big, the R32 had some way smaller wheels. Hopefully I'll 3D print some NISMO 5-spoke wheels for the final model Yeah painted, right, ye. No actually they are china pieces, like some other pieces on the model as well. Since I build this MOC for me and there will never be building instructions, there is no need to supress my power of the dark side Thank you! This time I spent even more time on the engine bay, and you can even see the intercooler piping through the side vents of the front bumper. For some reason I think that is something very attractive, I just had to do it on this car
  2. Hello guys, I haven't posted anythig here for a while. I have been working on this Nissan R32 GTR even before the Mazda RX-7 was completed. I was scared that I would not be able to accomplish a build worthy of wearing the legendary "Godzilla" name. Thats why I did not post any WIP Pictures earlier. But now I feel like the build has progressed enough that quitting is out of the question, and any obstacles have been cleared already. I am fairly pleased with the build now, but it was a long way to get here. I hope you like it too. Yes, I can get these wheels I used for the taillights in transparent red as well, dont underestimate the power of the dark side ;) The Car has an AWD system, hooked up to a 6-Speed manual transmission powered by the RB26 with a single turbo conversion. Sorry for the bad quality pics, black is really hard to photograph. I am looking forward to your comments, improvement ideas and whatever else in the comments. Stay safe out there. Gray Gear
  3. Looks like a fun little guy, like some kind of futuristic snow adventure vehicle. Cool!
  4. Looks great, I like the colorsceme. A better looking bike than the ducati imo.
  5. I thought so. Intresting idea. It looks pretty good, and better than stickers on the edges, but how stable is it?
  6. Hold up, how are these red edges created on the red version? That looks mighty illegal
  7. Honestly lighting up explosive liquid inside a LEGO structure, especially with a taser, sounds like a really bad Idea
  8. Very nice MOC, It looks great and has a lot of small details as well. The only thing that really bothers me is that the tail needs a support stand. Maybe it could have been avoided by beefing up the tail and loosing some weight on the end, but I know it is difficult in such a huge Scale.
  9. Very nice creation, you just keep on improving your design How about integrating a center diff for AWD cars next, now that there is some space in the frames frame left While the frames offer good stability to test the gearbox I think I would still use a different frame design that can be connected to the chassis more easily If I were to use this in a MOC. Thx for sharing!
  10. Using glue to fix the pins in place schould make it stable enough for static models. 60 Bucks still isn't cheap, but it should be worth it to complete a really nice build. I will still try to print my wheels myself, because I like doing things myself. But for someone who doesn't own a 3D Printer the wheels you offer here seem like a fine choice
  11. That's sad to hear, but nothing unexpected. I would have liked to modify your design for some cool JDM wheels, but it seems like I'll have to come up with my own system in the end It might be for the better in the end, I have these concerns as well: If I'll finally get to print my own wheels I wil use the old stiff technic pins to hold the wheels in place, It might not look as pretty as these here, but it will be a lot stronger. The two-piece design is clever tho, I like it.
  12. Dont get me wrong, the wheel+Tire combo does fit 1:8, its just that the rim the rim is on the smaller side. They should fit on the Porsche.
  13. The wheel-tire combo does have the same outer diameter as the Porsche wheels, but they are more narrow. Main problem I see is that the rim inside the tire is way smaller than the Porsche/Bugatti rims, so while these are maybe 19" wheels, the Defender ones would only be like maybe 15". 15" would be fine for 90s supercars, but modern supercars normally have 18"-20" wheels.
  14. The wheel designs look good and the quality looks great fir a 3D ptinted piece. But the prices are pretty hard to swallow... I know stuff like this isn't cheap, but I'll be printing my own wheels before I pay 80 bucks for a set of 4, sorry. Would you also sell the printing file for the wheels, so people who already own a 3D Printer can print them at home? That would be pretty cool.
  15. I ordered all the white pins from GoBricks. Ordering from GoBricks isn't easy, but PM me and I can try to help you
  16. Lovely figure <3 +Respect for the creative parts usage
  17. Very cool Model, I like it a lot! I like the way you made the legs and boots, and the way you shaped the head is genius. Btw what is that golden banana supposed to be? To me it still loks like he strapped a banana to his chest
  18. It is not admiting a mistake and adhering to their own principles, its having no backbone. Otherwhise this model wouldn' have made it into development and production in the first place.
  19. This is dumb. Who the hell thought this was a good idea? Canceling a Product that has alredy been developedand produced because of a moral issue that hasn't been an issue for the whole time of development...You really can't make sh*t like this up. I feel bad for everyone who was exited for this set, we'll see how this situation develops itself...
  20. That seems like a huge undertaking, you must have a lot of space and a big wallet in place Finding cool car MOCs to build shouldn't be that hard in this forum right? While my MOCs could cover the spot for Honda and Mazda, I dont know If 90s supercars can still be considered exotic today
  21. @suffocation Sorry I dont buy that excuse. The car transporter truck had the engine in the right place, unlike this one, and a mechanism to tilt the cabin. The target audience is the same, the models are very similar. So why not do the concrete mixer the same way as in the car transporter?
  22. That's how I know it - the engine ist under the driver's compartment and the whole cabin can tilt forward to expose the engine bay. Imo the whole engine needs to be like 3-5 studs lower.
  23. I saw this Locomotive in the Museum once, but I was still a kid back then. Your model is really beautiful and captures the original very well! Thanks for sharing.
  24. Yeah I guess that's something you can do...I think Ill stick to my 6speed manual gearbox tho
  25. Why the Frick is the engine inside the drivers cabin? I dont know a whole lot about trucks like this but I'm pretty sure that's not how it is supposed to be...
