  1. Very nice, it is very fast and nimble, looks like a blast to play with
  2. Thats great since you'll need that increased torque to overcome the additional friction in the drivetrain
  3. They introduced the red 16t Gears to prevent the goddamn normies that install the clutch gears the wrong way. But why change the 20t gears? The old lg/lbg gears run an incredible lot better than the new ones...
  4. Y'all should replace the red 16t clutch gears with the old style dbg ones as well if you want to reduce friction
  5. What the hell? There is no heigth limit? That should probably be adressed before there is the first entry with some weird tree reaching into outer space
  6. Damn, I guess it was a cool idea but not suitable for a 1:8 scale car. Even if I would run 2 seperate pneumatic systems with 2 small cylinders per wheel I bet the car would still air down on its own in less than a minute due to leaks
  7. Have you tried to use a pneumatic system to lift a 1:8 scale model before, to create some kind of Air Suspension? I experimented with my old pneumatic cylinders yesterday, but they lose too much preassure before reaching the neccecary power (1kg per cylinder)
  8. Just hit the capslock key again to fix the problem
  9. Absolute madman. This build is amazing, I especially love the custom made pneumatic cylinders. And it can move fast despite being such a massive behemoth.... While I knew these weird Scala Dolls existed, I didn't know they were so big? I always though they woult be like technic minifig size lol
  10. Nice refresh, and I did not even know this model existed... It is older that I am for sure Do you have built it irl too?
  11. I would pay 50€ for a bag of black, red or white bodypanels. But since LEGO wont be doing that, I'll get the bodypanels from GoBricks if I need them. In a useful color. I am not loyal to any brand, I pay who ever can deliver what I want. Wait 3 months and I bet you could rebrick the Sian in different colors using the Power Of The Dark Side. No need to buy a knockoff Sian, just get the single bricks you need from a quality source to fullfill your dream build
  12. It looks like an intresting model, do you have a video showing off the functions? Your approach to building on this model is very weird... 1.Designs chassis with tons of functions, motorizing everything (exept driving+steering?!) 2. Decides what car could be built on the completed chassis (more or less, features dont really fit) 3. Realizes there is space to fit drive+steering, so time to add it. What the hell dude? Also adding some more pictures would be cool, right now the front grill looks like a black hole, and I'd like to see the rear as well.
  13. @Rudivdk Yes, there are some obvious problems for the technic theme in this contest. I bet there will be very few entrues from the technic theme overall as well. Thank you for the nice words. @aeh5040 Thank you, I am glad you like it
  14. First of all: I dont know anything about Bionicle, I have always been into Technic. But I do like the look of the Bionicle caracters. Especially your creations here. I like the girl (it is a girl, right?) in the botton left corner best. The dude in the bottom right corner is very cool too, especially his brickbuilt mask. But the crossbow of the girl is so beautifully shaped, and I like the way her body was made, using technic panels, tread wheels and plant pieces. The color combo is just amazing too.
  15. Can the bike steer too? In the vid it looks like it is just trying to drive straight
  16. I just go safe and use old used lg/lbg 20T gears. They run way smoother than any of the tan gears I have. And they look better too
  17. Creativity In The Darkness (1 hour challenge)
  18. Hello everybody, this is my entry for the Eurobricks Flower Show. Due to my lack of time I decided to challenge myself, to see what I could build in the timeframe of 60 minutes. You might be thinking: This doesn't look like a normal garden Well, I've had multiple problems. First of all, I dont own any green bricks, flower pieces or anything else that would be usefull for this contest, so I had to get creative. My brick collection is probably > 50.000 bricks, but I dont think there are even 100 green ones. I build technic Cars in 1:8 Scale, so building a normal Garden really isn't for me In the end I decided to create an entry with a bit of a deeper meaning. The colorful Flower surrounded by darkness represents our beautiful LEGO builds in these dark times yeah kinda r/Iam14andthisisdeep I know, but I dont care
  19. Is there a tag for the beginning of the post title, like the "[TC18]" in the technic section for example?
  20. @agrof I thought so too, this review was more informative. I guess taking your time to do things properly and ending up last does pay of in the end
  21. Nice review, very relaxing to watch. The color vomit on the inside is actually not that bad, and the return of the black 2L axle is definatelly a step in the right direction. But the blue pins still remain a huge visual problem. The color inconsistencies are an absolute disgrace. They are already charging waaay to much for the set, so at least the bricks should be perfect. And after the focus on the glowing lights in the commercials no glow in the dark pieces are close to a scam. Even my 5€ tiny turbo had 2x 4L bar glow in the dark a few years ago. But the 380€ one? Nah. The set has some big flaws, but overall it is definatelly a better car than the chiron imo.
  22. @Sariel did you try something like this? I would try it myself, but I have other projects to work on, and all my diffs are used up By offsetting the wave selectors one or two gear teeth you can reduce the space between the gear changes. It was just an Idea, and it works nice. But i dont know if it would work well in your application. Ill just leave it here and take my leave
  23. This looks like one of my MOCs where I had to combine LEGO and a few different brand bricks, and the shades are slightly different. Thats something I can accept for my MOCs, but pretty sad for a official set.
  24. Yeah any discount is fine this short after realease I am not a bike guy, but it looks like a cool model to me. If y'all can pick it up for like 40-45 EUR in a few months its actually not a bad deal
