  1. Yeah I agree, I'd rather not have "Simp Racing" on my car Too bad the ferrari badges are stickers as well
  2. Oh yeah he will control his excavator with his smartphone... Sounds familiar?
  3. The discs fit inside, yes. But the fitment is different, the Land Rover wheels stick out further. And as I said there is not enough clearance left to mount the brake calippers
  4. Very nice and in black color as well, I'll just get a bunch of those from Bricks&Pieces. Overall the set looks O.K., but that cabin glass looks like the frosted glass of my bathroom window. The operator will have to work blind I guess
  5. I think so too. Now there must be some model left in dbg color to get rid of the remaining Osprey pieces left in TLG's stock
  6. No they are not Land Rover Wheels Porsche GT3 RS for reference
  7. The Bugatti Wheel hubs do fit inside these wheels but there is no space left to mount the brake calipper. I know this because I want to 3D print some disc brakes and brake calippers for the Defender wheels in the future Wasnt the price supposed to be 170$? That is 143.xy€ with the current conversion rate. Where do you get the 180€? That would really be a unfair move. But the way things are going it would not have suprised me if they would have slapped a 200€/200$ pricetag on this, because enough people would buy it nonetheless. Its a Ferrari afterall. Yeah I also think that is kinda lazy. Next car we might even get stickers for the headlights
  8. You are right, I was just trying to help a fellow out. Lets get back to topic.
  9. No you are not But if you are already reading that wrong check this gem out: (pls dont open if you dont want to go offtopic)
  10. 1st point for the mods and improvements thread: Do something about that inverted panel at the tip of the door. Thats's just ugly.
  11. @Hobz No problem bro, and I like those wheels better than the Bugatti ones Very nice!
  12. You are right, It is a new roulded 13 stud wheel arch
  13. I am really curious about that overfender piece. How is it attached to the cars body? does it hook into the Wheel arch piece somehow? would that work with the older straight wheel arches as well? And could these Overfender pieces fit some 1:8 Wheels as well it you use tight fitment?
  14. Wow, they finally released 1:8 wheel arches in a color you can actually work with Too bad its the curved ones and not the straight ones used in the Bugatti, but better than nothing. I might have to get my hands on those sometime... But I have to say I am suprised they would use the Sian wheel arches, wihich is in 1:8 scale, in a 1:10 Scale car. Also there is a new Overfender Piece for all you 1:10 MOCers out there, I am jealous Also I really had to laugh at the shot where they zoomed in on the ugly Ferrari Logo Sticker just to crush any hopes there might be a single print in this set exept for the the headlights. they not even brickbuilt, but it does seem like they are printed and not a sticker at least. It does look like a cool build for all you Ferrari guys out there, and 170 Bucks isn't that bad for LEGO (But I still think the Cada 488 Pista is a better buy)
  15. @astyanax Very nice improvement, the exhausts on the LEGO version were pretty ugly and inaccurate in comparison
  16. This question has been bothering me for a while: Why are so little Technic builds getting Frontpaged? I had to go back 16 pages to find 3 Technic MOCs. The oldest one was on 8th of June. That makes 3 Frontpaged entries in over 5 months. Is the MOC quality here really so low that it that it takes over 5 months to find 3 MOCs that deserve to be frontpaged? I don't think so. Meanwhile there is a massive ammount of Sci-Fi, Town and Train Tech MOCs frontpaged. Is there some logical reason to this? I just feel like my favorite theme on this Forum does not get the exposure and representation it deserves. This does not exactly belong here, I know, but I feel like I can just ask a quick question here without bloating the first page with another unneccecary new thread. If there is a better place for this the feel free to move it there.
  17. @Hobz Okay, I did a little research. I think you have the "Super18K" version. You got away easy, from what I can see there where GoBricks pieces used for your version, which should be great quality. I found this chinese thread, there is a list of the missing parts on there. https://tieba.baidu.com/p/6829022018?pn=2 Just use Google translate and you should be good to go. Also, can you send a pic of what wheels you got? Apperently there is also a version that has the golden wheels from the Lamborghini Sian
  18. I know very little about construction equipment in general, so no idea. I was talking cars here, about the B model.
  19. @Hobz I dont think PEXL is an actual brand, and there is no mention of this brand in the archives of the dark side either. This is one of those rebranding /dropshipping bullsh*t companies. They buy different Sets from China and sell them more expensive on Amazon. For example they also offer Mould King models. Please dont buy there, they just make you a bad deal. On YourWOBB the CADA version is offered for ~121€, shipping included. Meanwhile your fake version from is offered on Amazon for 150€+16€ shipping. The worst thing you can do when buying china bricks is buying something that looks like what you want without doing proper reading and research first. Sorry you had a bad experience. If you want to you can PM me a few pics of the box and I can see if I can tell you where this origially came from.
  20. @Kaanere well yeah something that ugly could only be a french car (Pls dont get offended, I dont want to discriminate against french people, I just think most french cars are very ugly)
  21. Yes, the blue 20t gear and the red 16t gear are locked together using a 4th clutch ring that is not used for shifting gears. I did that on purpose.
  22. If there really is no space for suspension just slam the car on its nuts and call it a day You could first make a test chassis without suspension and fix some weight on top to simulate the weight of the body. Once wou are happy with the drifts you can still try to put some suspension in the final model.
  23. Thats very cool and intresting, maybe I'll do a small scale drift car too sometime in the future. I'd have to find a usable RC solution tho, Buwizz and 2x LEGO buggy motor is out of my budget tbh
  24. @Mechbuilds using these different speeds, got it. But why would you tape the front wheels if they are not supposed to lose traction? Cant wait to see this thing in action
  25. Can you explain why would you want to go AWD for a LEGO drift car? IRL the best drift cars are FR's and AWD was developed to improve grip in rally in the first place. Its a lot harder to break the traktion of 4 tires than 2... Btw that "Drift Skyline GT-R" is a really weird naming choice. The GT-R's Attesa AWD system was developed keep the car from loosing tracktion...
