  1. Yes, the newer one is larger in diameter.
  2. No 8 tooth gear is chain compatible. The teeth are too short
  3. It doesnt look to bad - for a peugeot But there is no interior at all, right? I think Aero pieces like Splitters, Sideskirts and Wings that extend over the width of the normal body should be allowed up to +1 stud on each side of the body. Otherwhise cars fearuring Battle Aero will be at a massive disatvantage, especially since these cars are often pretty wide to begin with. But thats just my opinion. Pics work now, idk what happened, my bad.
  4. HoG is definatelly needed. The shifting in the cabin is fine imo (if it works), but no sh*t would I want a dial for the spoiler... But that "Speed key" ist the dumbest idea in existance. It wasn't even a good idea on the real car to begin with.
  5. I bet the dudes at VW in charge of licensing dont even know what a HoG is, and I dont blame them. There is no need for them to know.
  6. Because they would have to make yet another new wheel hub, even though they just made the Brake disc one for the Chiron. Even I think that would be unnecessary, the normal Wheel hubs work perfectly fine for manual models. There will never be a official motorized 1:8 car, so the wheel hub you talk about will never exist.
  7. Yeah I dont get why the 1:8 Cars dont just have a removable HoG on the dashboard... I like to play with my 1:8 MoCs once in a while, it just takes me back in time and makes me feel relaxed. But it would be no fun if I had to stick my hand into the car and turn the steering wheel
  8. I can almost guarantee you this car will neither have the planetary gear hubs, nor the reinforced diff. Those pieces wouldn't be the right choice for a manual model. The extensive gearing up would introduce a lot of unnecessary resistance in the drivetrain
  9. Yo this thing is fast! Poor little princess has no chance in accelleration or top speed
  10. I disagree, I think the model looks great, it looks pretty close to the real one, and that's awesome! I dislike the color as well, but aside from that it looks promising... The age of 8880 style building is long gone my dude, just accept it.
  11. The headlights look great, but what are they made of? Bars? Some sort of Minifig accessory? I cant really tell, I dont know much about swords and stuff that could be used for this...
  12. Engine pistons are a bright color so they are easy to see, and this makes sense imo. I swapped in some dbg pistons in my Honda NSX MOC, and the pistons became very hard to see. So I returned to the yellow ones I used before. If the engine isn't completely exposed, or there is something partially covering the cylinders, bright pistons are a good thing.
  13. In overall age I might be quite young in this community, but since I have never had a dark age, I still have 16 years of LEGO experience under my belt I think making fool proof instructions is bad. It prevents you from making mistakes, which prevents you from learning something. If you for example can't put in a diff the wrong way, you won't learn learn why it is important which way the diff is facing. In short, it keeps you from growing as a builder. Yes, so awesome. I still have them. I used them to have glow in the dark lightsabers back then
  14. Agreed, that would be very cool. And they did glow in the dark pieces before, even in 5€ sets (tiny turbos). But I doubt the headlights will be glow in the dark.
  15. So you are defending the color vomit? Are you a fanboy? I was 12yo when I built the massive LEGO 8043 Excavator, with no color vomit exept blue pins. And 7yo when I built the 8436 Truck. No color vomit at all. And it was fun. I had no problems. There is absolutely no need for any of this. You must be joking.
  16. Very nice, I like how the sections shake a little when a ball is running over it. Very satisfying to watch, even though the module isn't really doing anything.
  17. My point is, there is no way the MK Sian is copy from LEGO, and it does not seem to be a stolen MOC either. So where could the design come from? I just think MK wanted hop onto that hypetrain for the LEGO Sian. And I agree, the LEGO Sian looks great, definatelly better than the Chiron, and maybe even better than the GT3 RS. Now they just have to not f*ck up the suspension and transmission...Oh boy, but we'll see. Overall this car looks like an improvement, so I have a little hope they learned from the previous flaws.
  18. I agree, The MK Lambo looks way to different, even for a Prototype. Maybe MK actually hired a designer themselves this time, in hopes of causing reactions like this:
  19. Overall the car looks pretty good, but what's up with the mirrors? They look nothing like the ones on the real car... And what is that weird thing above the mirror?
  20. I agree, the new wheel arch panels look pretty sweet. But what do you expect? The only thing y'all can hope for is that the wheel arches are used in a inconventional way in a set that isn't a car, and not in a useless color. Like red, black, white or yellow. But I doubt that will happen anytime soon, if ever.
  21. Just paste the link, it will imbed automatically I just pasted the link of your viedeo... Maybe you disabled it somewhere? Idk
  22. Just paste the link, it will imbed automatically
  23. I dont think it looks bad, but I many people, including me, dislike the type R for its massive fake vents. Some people call it "riced from factory". I too think it would be better if the fake vents weren't there. It looks cheap and produces additional drag. The design of the rear is just not for everbody.
  24. The Porsche 911 might be the most well known car of all time. No need to be sarcastic. Your weird Zaz seems to be the exact opposite
