This looks great! Especially the sand green roof on the right and the crossed axes over the fort entrance.

Nice! Lots of great little details inside and out. The round bricks and plates look really good as architectural detailing. The only things I can think to add are maybe some kind of tool chest in the garage, and perhaps a gun rack in the office (unless Barney Fife works there! ) Great work!

Fantastic build! The stove and bunk beds are great!

That's amazing! My favorite part is the walkway up top with the pipework. Really nice details all around!

@greg3 Thank you! I've added a few extra details below. @jimmynick It seems a few seagulls escaped the local chef after all... The sailing vessel, the Charlotte's Folly, has her own topic here. A young officer bids farewell to his sweetheart before setting off to seek glory in the far-flung reaches of the Empire (sing "Rule, Britannia" while viewing): I also added some..."equine residue" to the street: Thanks for looking - additional ideas welcome! Soli Deo Gloria

@Keymonus Looks good! The way the ship is stuck in the ice reminds me of the Shackleton expedition. -

The tower ruins and the vegetation are both lovely. Well done! -
Very nice! The round building technique, the rockwork on the base, and the defensive wall are all excellent!

[MOC] Western Minifigures [by General Magma]
Pdaitabird replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Great assortment of minifigures! I like the variety including "civilians." Are the overcoats in the first and last pictures custom-made parts? -
@Mister Phes Lol!

Classic Space ambassador spaceship LL99 (Naboo Royal star-ship MOD)
Pdaitabird replied to Murdoch17's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Looks good! I kind of prefer the old version of the engines, as it seems to match the sleek style of the hull more closely. The new interior's side-by-side rear seating really makes the cabin look more spacious! -

Awesome! My favorite is the Mallet tank engine! -
Does anyone know of any good alternatives (Lego or third-party) for the Martini-Henry rifle? As the quintessential "rifle of empire," I was surprised not to find it on Brickarms' website. The closest I've been able to come is this, which admittedly would look better in reddish brown: To more closely resemble a Martini-Henry, the rifle was modified by cutting off the hammer and "pistol grip," leaving just enough for the minifigure's hand to clip onto. Any other suggestions? (I know this rifle [1870s-1890s] is somewhat beyond the Pirates forum's historical range, but, as the Historic Themes forum seems to be dominated by the Medieval period, I thought I might get more ideas here!)

[OL - CHIII - CAT B] Someone worth fighting for
Pdaitabird replied to Ross Fisher's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Och aye, lad! The story and build are great! (Fortunately I've gotten used to the written Scottish dialect from George MacDonald's novels!) -
It depends on how comfortable you are with soldering and basic circuits. A homemade setup will give you more versatility and can be cheaper. LEDs are available at most hobby stores for pennies each (3mm will fit in an open stud, 5mm in a technic pin hole). I've found that standard 5mm LEDs are a good fit for most applications: As long as you don't mind a bit of soldering and splicing wires, custom is the way to go!

So that's how Octan got started! I presume they started out selling whale oil back in the day! Nice job! -
@LEGO Train 12 Volts Thank you! The seagulls and ice cream all got baked into a pie...at least, that sounds like one of those disgusting things that British people eat! Thank you!

Looks good! The open back gives it a nice playset feel, and I may just have to steal/borrow that technique for the cash register/computer!
