  1. This looks really great. A shame it wasn't chosen by Bricklink. As others have said already - the way the hull shape has been created is really effective.
  2. Thanks for including my new one @Digger of Bricks I'll be posting a full write up about this moc on EB tomorrow.
  3. It really is a tremendous looking set and is blazing ahead on Lego Ideas. 8000 votes in 22 days is just astonishing. Wish my projects were half as popular as that. I will predict this is gonna reach 10,000 votes within its first month. Good luck @paokus
  4. Wow that's great, I hadn't seen that, thanks for making me aware. http://thebrickblogger.com/2019/02/lego-brick-square-post-office-instructions/
  5. Thanks very much for mentioning my Bricks & Blooms @Digger of Bricks Also it's great to see this topic being revived again. I love the brightly coloured Russian style building in the centre bottom row.
  6. Many thanks. Hope you enjoy building it and if you do it would be great to see some pictures. I'm glad you enjoyed working out the instructions. Once again thanks very much for the fantastic job you did. Thanks @LegoModularFan and good to see you back on EB.
  7. BUILDING INSTRUCTIONS I just wanted to let everyone know that instructions are now available for building Brick Square Post Office. I've had to make a few minor alterations to the model and swapped a few bricks to make sure that the colours are all available to purchase. The model still looks more or less the same as my original design. The most obvious change is the colour of the umbrella and the frontage of the Chip Shop which has changed to dark blue. This is the result. I have been working with @supertruper1988 to make the instructions and I must say a massive thanks as he has done an incredible job of creating the instructions and working out all the various steps. Here is a sample of one of the pages below. The instructions are available now from Rebrickable at the following link. Brick Square Post Office Instructions
  8. Thanks very much. Funny you say that, as someone else mentioned the left side of the building looks a bit like a gingerbread house with the thick white detailing on the walls.
  9. A very nice package dropped through my letterbox earlier today. Thanks very much @CopMike
  10. Here's a new image I've created showing how Bricks & Blooms would look alongside a couple of the official Modulars, Parisian restaurant and Corner Garage.
  11. I have been trying to add an update to my LEGO Ideas project but have found a major glitch which I think has appeared since the site was updated last week. I can add text in to my update but it wont let me add any pictures. Has anyone else with an Ideas project spotted this problem? I can only wish my efforts were as successful as Stephanix, Anatomini.
  12. I might be in the minority here, but I think out of the 4 modulars Jamie hasn't designed. My favourite is actually Town Hall.
  13. Considering how tight LEGO security usually is, I was pretty shocked to see the Creator Mustang accidentally getting leaked early on LEGO's own website. It does look like a tremendous model though. Anyway back to Modulars... I am wondering (hoping) whether Jamie Berrard could be back as the designer for next years set. Unless I'm mistaken he designed the first 4 modular sets before taking a 2 year break whilst Astrid designed Town Hall and Palace Cinema. He then came back and designed the next 4 sets before taking a break again. So now that Jamie has had another 2 year break, maybe that could mean he'll be back on board for next year's set. I'm pretty sure I've read interviews where he mentioned he'd like to return to designing modulars at some point in the future.
  14. Thanks @Modeltrainman and thanks for sharing it on twitter yesterday as well. I've watched your video too. It's clear that your Up House model really does mean a great deal to you. I do wish you the best of luck with the project.
  15. I have recently added my new project to LEGO Ideas, but that doesn't mean I've turned my back on The Old Workhorse. I've decided to give Youtube promotion a try and have been working on putting this video together for ages. Don't think it will be winning any golden globes but here it is... "The Old Workhorse - The Movie"
  16. I've created a 3 minute video showing all the working features and details of The Old Workhorse. You can watch the Traction Engine "In Action" on youtube.
  17. It's showing up as sent. I've just tried sending it again.
  18. Think I've found the Instagram description. I've sent it to you on IG. It mentions that the boxes for the space sets will carry a sticker saying "inspired by NASA" or words to that effect. So I don't think the models themselves will carry any NASA branding. It sounds as if it's just a note on the packaging to let people know these are supposed to be inspired by the 50th anniversary of the Apollo noon landing.
  19. That's disappointing. I was hoping for a hinged design that opens up like the old style creator houses and shops. So the new one is modular style, I assume with an open back as well. Despite this, hopefully it will still be an attractive model that would sit nicely beside the corner deli, bike shop, toy store from a couple of years ago?
  20. So did anyone watch the Zusammengebaut live video chat on Youtube yesterday where they were discussing the new sets from the toy fair? If so, were any extra details given about the new Creator sets? Especially the Townhouse/Pet Shop?
  21. @Digger of Bricks Thanks very much for including my project in you latest selection.
  22. Thanks very much. Yes the fruit and veg stall is mostly dark orange. That whole section on the right is my favourite part of the building I think, glad you like it too. Thanks a lot for supporting the model on Ideas.
  23. I think the Barbershop looks great. That's a really effective technique you've used to create the stairs on the back of the building.
