  1. Stop over thinking a LEGO theme. The south dent have subways either.
  2. I'm not questioning why LEGO would rerererererelease an airport. But the last one has two planes and cost the same and has been on sale for $35 for the last two years. Amazon had it $28-$32 all Christmas. It is now sold out at S@H with a 'retiring soon' sigh and 20% off. It's just like why would I spend $100 on the 2020 police station with <800 pieces when I can get the last one for $65?
  3. The last 4+ / Juniors airplane set was really great (10764), but always more than 40% off so it never seemed to sell. I don't see the new one being the same price and with only one plane selling better, or being better. And LEGO 'airports' in recent years have been huge plane and a tower and that's it (60022). I'm hoping we get a smaller, medium sized plane but if it fits a car then that's doubtful.
  4. What's the name of this topic? Rumour. Everyone is acting like it's actually based on something, when it's not. Me saying there will be Garfield sets in 8 years is speculation too. Maybe we should talk about it for pages and pages and act like it will actually happen. If Nintendo sets happen it will have NOTHING to do with someone making a movie and 100% about Nintendo.
  5. I'd hope it's the longer boat hull as we got the other one in dark blue last time. The airport won't make up more than 10% of the set. If it's $100 set, the plane sounds like it's the big huge type, that would be $70 of the set at least right there. I'm hoping it's a medium size plane so we get a building and not just a wall.
  6. Yes! That's what I was trying to say and did so very badly. A rumour is based on something. Insider info, a wink to the fans from a designer. Speculation is just people going 'They will make Mario sets because of some studio BS".
  7. Oh darn. Maybe I should sell off my old Adventures elephant before the blue and pink ones comes out. But gardens, waffle house and animal rescue is always nice. Also anyone know German? Because Beach House with Treeboat is... interesting.
  8. Yeah, I don't think those are all the sets. It's a weird list and there should be more sets. But the last Marine theme was great with the big boat (60095). One of my favorite sets ever. And after the very nice looking Friends marine rescue theme I have high hopes. Just expecting more sets.
  9. I know it's in house, I'm afraid it will be Chima like figures. Don't get me wrong, Chima was a lot of fun, but I actually like less detailed figures. Something like the second year of Atlantis.
  10. I just hope we have some yellow people. With all the license stuff LEGO makes and City being useless 90% of the time the only sets I really buy recently, with yellow figures, are NinjaGo and Creator. Thankfully Hidden Side has some awesome yellow figures too. I, like many others, loved the fantasy Castle for 2006-09 (?) with the yellow humans and then sand green things and dwarfs. If it's like that with the bad guys being a different color then cool. But this blue guy doesn't look bad really. He looks like the guy from that Disney movie with the island princess.
  11. The blue guy is on Instagram. It's the only place I look. Just have to search through the DOTS stuff. haha I can't say I like it. However the only big fig I like is the Hulk, all others have been 'ehh'. But I don't think that guy fits Ninjago so I guess it's good. But sadly I think 'time travel' theme some of us were hoping for is out the window.
  12. I don't know why people say this won't sell. I'm getting several booster packs and I'm 4 times older than anyone who would wear it. 99 pieces and 10 printed pieces for $4. Yes please.
  13. So I got the set for Christmas 2018 and meant to built in July of 2019 for the 50th anniversary, never did. Just started building it this year and it's amazing. If you can still pick it up in your country I'd say go for it, so weird and the first challenging set I've built in years. Plus it's the tallest darn LEGO thing!
  14. Exactly. I almost bought a Switch Lite the other day just to play Animal Crossing New Horizons and I'm like 'This would be stupid as I need a new phone and I want to see if the game still has a Museum, shops and all my favorite things before spending $210 on something for one game. Same with LEGO. People seem to spend a lot of time here debating absolutely nothing instead of spending that time building things. I'm greedy and want to see more MOCs. I'm still hoping for a time traveling theme myself.
  15. In the USA you can easily find the People Packs for $28-30 and you get 14 minifigures. You can never find these bubble 4 people packs for less than $13. So really, you are better off waiting. I don't buy the people packs, besides space, because all the torsos normally come out in other sets I rather get the following year or just buy on Bricks and Pieces. Only thing I'd really like is the bald eagle.
  16. LEGO the last few years have been so paranoid that they didn't even show off the second half of the year sets until much later in the year. I wouldn't be surprised if LEGO did the same thing year. Just show a few new things being release March-June and nothing after that. I will laugh and laugh if this theme never comes out and it was all just rumors and more rumors because that's all it is so far. 'It's Bionicle 3.0! It's Castle! It's Pirates! It's time travel just so it can be all three!' Growing up I thought the online gaming community was insane. They got nothing on the LEGO 'community'.
  17. How dare you forget farmers! Without poop you don't have any food! Decoration of a building would be good, even though we already have a similar piece. Also soft serve ice cream. It's just the fact LEGO made a piece of crap on purpose (The Assault on Hoth and the Cloud City sets were by mistake. ) I like the fact that the poop can be used for soft serve ice cream and poop. It's just a fun silly piece that you can get 20 of for a buck.
  18. Never thought so many people would be excited over poop.
  19. LEGO looked into doing two small modulars a year, they realized it wouldn't work out so that's how we got the Pet Shop. I opened one of the sets, the Saturn V, no one will complain it's too small. And it's the second wildest build ever. The first one is the transforming Nexo Knights Horse.
  20. I'm so happy your carousal has a brick built roof something LEGO seems to forget to do. (I typed this days ago and never hit submit.)
  21. Thanks! I always wanted the ferris wheel but not for $140 and an ex wouldn't buy it for me. It's why we broke up. (Not really.)
  22. Wow. That's huge! (Insert 'That's what he said' joke.) I really need to look up how to make trees like that. I don't have a ton of newer pieces but I'm guessing it uses the flower part with 6 stems.
  23. Loving it so far. I always give credit for using different colors. I had a bathroom once that was black, white and a pink purple color similar to the stairs. Do the doors open?
  24. I think people here take LEGO way too seriously.
