    Haha trying to imagine the ensuing disaster if all the books were loose.... Not to seem lazy or impatient but what news have we got so far? (There are a lot of discussed rumours in this thread, so coming late it's quite hard to find concrete info on the subject...)

    As an extra, just noticed the ‘Botanical Collection’ title on the box, implying a continuation of floral sets. I’m gonna change the topic title from ‘sculptures’ to ‘botanical collection’.

    The bonsai definitely looks very nice from the new more focused pics I saw today. The bouquet now in focus looks amazing! Even if no details have been added, both have an entry on Brickset now, plus 10278 (pretty sure it’s the new modular). I have to admit I really like these LEGO plants - they don’t need continuous focus but still look amazing. I also know people who are allergic to flower pollen, so this is an easy answer for them. I think the bouquet in particular will sell pretty well. Interested to see where this 18+ subtheme will go next... Also any idea of the bouquet dimensions?

    Saw these earlier today and forgot to come here! I think they look great - though I’m more interested in the unannounced 2... (world map, Elvis). I was hoping the Hogwarts ones could be combined to make the crest shown on the first page of each book, but doesn’t look like it... To be fair, it’s not shown on the others, but no ultimate build is obvious here...

    These sets take at least 2 years to develop. I don’t know when your bouquet was shown to the public, but honestly they probably didn’t. Sets like these of utmost detail are in planning for a long time...

    Taxis and passenger trains are also pretty important. A ferry, maybe? Plus the train station, ferry terminal etc (E.g. 60050). Trust me, @rzmpf, there’s enough.

    Yeah. The only mention I've seen anywhere of the set is here, by @Lucarex a couple weeks ago in the IDEAS discussion. I'm afraid they're probably right.

    I was just on the 'Everything we know so far' page for 2021, which I check regularly, and realised that despite I having known about both these sets for at least a month, I've seen almost no discussion of them Eurobricks. If there has been, can a mod please merge or delete this post. Just for the details: 10280 Flower Bouquet 756 pieces US$49.99 / EUR49.99 / £44.99 10281 Bonsai 878 pieces US$49.99 / EUR49.99 / £44.99 These are the first two unbranded small 18+ sets. The PPP seems pretty good. 10281 is listed on Brickset now, but with no info. 10280 is not. Interestingly, 10281 has been put under 'Sculptures' - the fourth in this category, after Statue of Liberty, LEGO Minifigure, and LEGO Dragon (all released 20 years previously). Both sets are scheduled for release January 2021. A leaked image of the Bonsai was posted on Instagram today, probably resulting in Brickset adding it to their inventory. What do you think of these sets? Is the small size a good thing? Do you see many more being released in the future? If so, what? Discuss below.

    It's true. I got the Gingerbread House miniature version promo last year when I got the Assembly Square. It's a great little build with a substantial piece count. I wouldn't have minded a miniature colosseum either. At least something a bit larger...

    Honestly I have to agree. I want to like it, and the chariot’s nice, but the horses are a let down for me.

    As said above, and I completely agree, the most recent stuff this summer was VERY UNDERWHELMING, but makes a new one unlikely anytime soon. However, we haven't had a large cargo plane since 2013, one of the first 60xxx series sets, number 60022. It was my first new set out of my dark ages, bought on a great deal, and still one of my favourite City sets to this day. If it's anything to hope for, that has a far higher chance.

    Though that set will have been in planning for at least two years judging by the detail, and had to fit with the modulars as it uses that system. Without baseplates that couldn't possibly work.

    New pictures of the box leaked on Instagram! The front and back are both shown, as well as the measurements: 59 cm (23.5 in) wide x 52 cm (20.5 in) deep x 27 cm (10.5 in) tall. 9036 pieces EUR 499,99 I'm seriously hyped...

    There's a world map rumour for Art 2020 - wondering if that and the Earth Globe will look good next to each other.... I feel like the globe has got a lot of hate, but I rather like it.

    Fantastic build! As another citizen of Good Ol' U of K, I can see exactly the sort of inspiration from which you've got the idea, as I've seen these conversions myself. A very realistic MOC, though possibly quite a draughty home! If you want any recommendations for improvement, I would try and build something that's against the grid layout, such as placing a raised bed at an angle.

    Might seem like a stupid question, but would you want the curved ends? Definitely. But a simple green/blue map wouldn't sell in my opinion, so if it's not I can't see it going ahead.

    Noticed today on the 2021 Everything We Know So Far page, 4/5 2021 mosaics are rumoured - Hogwarts Crest, Mickey and Minnie, Elvis, and a World Map. Wondering how the World Map in particular will work - a continent per mosaic, one giant mosaic, or what?

    Can definitely agree with that. I would guess it’s the same size box as the UCS Millennium Falcon & Star Destroyer. Looking forward to the reveal - can’t be far off now!

    Really a very impressive model. As a Brit myself, any British steamer is a pleasure to see in LEGO - and the more impressive the MOC, the more pleasurable! A great MOC, with fantastic coaches too.
