ALL THE PARTS ARE FINALLY HERE!!!!! UPDATE TIME: The parts have all arrived (except for one 1x1 beam in black, someone at Lego cannot count to save their life...). 1. I will be interchanging all the parts over the next few days and the weekend, and I can definitely make more progress from here on out! 2. I will be finishing the chassis, then starting the roll-cage. And yes, it will be functional! I could have used one of those yesterday... Crashed on my rollerblades pretty hard...

If anyone is interested in WWIII... "The Great Brick War" has just gone nuclear... I have no idea what team I fall onto... But "Team Purist (with the Exception of Third-Party Tires)" officially has it's first member! @Erik Leppen I think the introvertedness has to do with the implication that we (EB members) are all some of those because here we are arguing over all sorts of trivial things over the internet while hiding away in our dark, dank, cave-like basements and attics.

Wow. That's really impressive, excellent work! My favorite detail is the cut-away chair.

@Didumos69 Ironically enough, direct from Lego! @agrof I don't use LDD to design the model. I only build in real bricks. Afterwards, I might make an LDD to share so others can build it themselves. I decide what parts I need based on what parts I'm already using. And I only buy parts if I don't have enough of one, or don't have any. Therefore, I bought some connectors and black half-liftarms I know I will need, and a couple other parts that will probably be used in this build, but if not, they are parts I don't already own, so they will be used elsewhere.

UPDATE: Parts arrived! Half my order arrived. The WRONG HALF!!! I received (1) AAA battery box and (2) extension wires. NOT the parts needed for the Ariel Nomad. I still don't know when they are supposed to arrive. I'm hoping they will be here by Friday, but there is no telling, since it has been almost 3 weeks now. Sorry guys...

Even if the functions aren't perfect, for the price and parts, I will be getting one of these.

42083 - Bugatti Chiron
Leonardo da Bricki replied to Jurss's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@Kasse It can be done skeletal style with angled connectors, but otherwise, it will be flex axles. However, the high parts count suggests that System parts will be abundant for the curves. -
The final product is just incredible! Excellent work! The LXF is up to date, correct? (I would assume it is)

I like this bulky little Classic Spacecraft! The engine design is a good one, I might borrow it sometime... The astromech is awesome! Love the expression you used! @icm The pilot's tool is obviously a spectrometer beam of some sort... Right?- 15 replies

UPDATE: The parts order was wrong! My order got messed up, I returned it, Lego will be sending me the proper, verified, parts soon. I'll have to wait another week now. Sorry to disappoint. HOWEVER... Kudos to @rm8 for his work with RC4WD, I'll be picking up a set of these bad boys for this model! Perfectly in scale, way better than Lego tires... Instant buy!

YEEEESSSSS!!!! Finally! It's almost here! Man... This almost like waiting for Christmas as a kid... @TeamThrifty That was the Claas Xerion! @Jim and @Sariel Some questions to consider asking if you don't mind... 1. Did the Lego designers get to drive the real Bugatti?! 2. What was the most difficult component of this model to design? 3. Did you prototype any functions that did not make it into the final design? And for my last question: 4. Boxers or briefs? -
@emielroumen Since these shocks are attached simply (at each end) all that needs to be done is an easy adjustment to one of those points. @Didumos69 Sorry if I stepped on your toes!

CAMPAIGN 6: Toohati - Amry Base "HOTEL" Studica E8 Under the cover of darkness, and amid the distraction of other raids, a small force of Toohati soldiers assaulted the army base objective designated "Hotel." Intelligence from the Servants of Freedom has designated this base as a possible storage site for nuclear weapons in transit. As such, this raid may or may not successfully capture any of these terrifying weapons. However, the results are still positive: either a piece has been taken off the game board, or a location be scratched from the list... [GBW-CP6] Assaulting "Hotel" "Command, Hotel has been found, with no one at the front desk." [GBW-CP6] Assaulting "Hotel" [GBW-CP6] Assaulting "Hotel" "Command, we're in the penthouse suite!" [GBW-CP6] Gaining Entry... [GBW-CP6] The Goal "We'll be sure to leave a positive review of this place..." __________________________________________________________________________________________ Hope you guys like the different styles of building here, I had a lot of fun with the mini vehicles, even if the tank doesn't have the right proportions.

I like the simple but sturdy body and the good suspension. Nice video of the contest as well.

Is it possible to change the black bevel gears in the center to 16-tooth gears to speed up the outriggers?

Wow. Long, detailed review, I quite like it. Thanks for taking the time to write it all out. Not the set for me however. I saw only 1 typo, but it might not be since we're AFOLs...

Welcome to EuroBricks @Myhre!! Very nice trial truck! The Arocs definitely looks better with the massive wheels, but the speed might be a bit fast for crawling. Thanks for the instructions, I might give this build a try someday!
