  1. Great work on this one! You've captured the overall shape very well. Keep pushing forwards!
  2. The classic 1967 Ford Eleanor GT500 was a fearsome beast in its day, with a 428 cubic inch big block rippling the pavement courtesy of an astounding 355 horsepower. It's also the car made famous as "Eleanor," Steve McQueen's awesome ride in the original 1974 movie Gone In Sixty Seconds. With so much heritage to this classic car, I knew this build had to reflect that hardcore stance and styling everyone grew to love. 1967 Eleanor Mustang- let’s drive by lachlan cameron, on Flickr In an attempt to stay true to the mechanics and design, I began with the classic live axle rear suspension and an inboard suspension style in the front with Ackerman steering and torsion bar. 1967 Eleanor Mustang- Chrome engine block, gold pistons, red chrome wheels - by lachlan cameron, on Flickr I threw my new red chrome rims on the car just for a quick photo with lots of bling :) 1967 Eleanor Mustang by lachlan cameron, on Flickr The car also sports front and rear headlights, motorized hood and trunk, 2 XL motors for drive, 1 servo motor for steering, 2 Buwizz batteries in the trunk, a chrome V8 engine block with gold pistons, working fan and blower, snap back doors. 1967 Eleanor Mustang by lachlan cameron, on Flickr I did try to follow the shape of the car closely, as you can see in the overlay below: 1967 Eleanor Mustang by lachlan cameron, on Flickr After so many new challenges on this car I'm fairly satisfied with the outcome. So sit back, grab a cuppa and check the video! And as always - a huge thanks to my brother @DugaldIC , @KD123 & @technic_addict for their support throughout this build.
  3. This is brilliant :) Macro scale - simple and effect design. Well done Anto
  4. Annnnndddddd we have a winner!! lol This is perfect - I'm sure just the vehicle Buwizz was describing in the contest. My favorite jump was at the 0.30 mark. Well done!
  5. Beautiful creation! Love the color combo. Welcome to Eurobricks ?
  6. That. Is. Awesome!!!! My gosh it’s massive. Love the opening scene when you drive by, really shows the size of the thing!! Love is
  7. Hey @Pvdb - How soon will we be able to see a working video of this masterpiece?
  8. I think a pure black and red version would look best IMO. They are all awesome
  9. Well that’s a different way to do it! I still haven’t bought the Rally car yet, but definitely plan on keeping this Porsche built and displayed. Appreciate the feedback -
  10. Wow... this is such a lovely car. To know... somehow you’ve fit that monstrosity of a gearbox into this car, it’s a real work of art!! The lines flow so well all over the car. The only complaint is the similarity to Madoca’s 1:10 Icarus. I wouldn’t normally point this out, but the front hood and doors look similar. I’m very much looking forward to how that you gear box works and a video of the functions. Great to see you back at it after a year off!
  11. Wow... to take on this build with such limited parts - it’s amazing. Such a tough car to replicate (I know all to well) but you’ve managed to capture the looks very well. Interested which functions you’ve fit in there!
  12. Hey all! I've finished the instructions for the Dodge Viper ACR. This Viper packs 2x Buwizz 2.0 (with Ludicrous mode) that power this monster with 2x Buggy motors. The gearing is accessible and can be swapped for a higher or lower gear in minutes. Ratios avail: 1:1 and 1:1.6. Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-13655/Loxlego/dodge-viper-acr This model also has many build options:1. 1 or 2 buwizz / 1 or 2 Lipo / 1 or 2 Sbrick2. 2 Buggy motor or 2 XL motor for drive (see photo below for XL motors)3. Fully manual car (just remove the electronics)Follow the instructions for each option. Please note: some axles get worn from the ludicrous power that is sent to the rear wheels Dodge Viper ACR- revised Hood design by lachlan cameron, on Flickr IMG_5379.3 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Dodge Viper ACR - Custom seat design by lachlan cameron, on Flickr
  13. This is such a wonderful MOC all around!! Great video on the ice btw. The aesthetics are tops - not many could produce such a beauty- with so many functions to boot!!!
  14. As said above... been waiting for a WIP thread this exciting! The framework has SO much going on... and the front is very menacing looking. Fantastic progress!!!!
  15. wow... wonderful styling and color. Its really starting to take shape! The rear end looks well crafted... Look forward to seeing this one complete :)
  16. Very very cool Damjan!! To have fit all those motorized components into such a small space, find out how to raise and lower the car to such extreme is no simple task - and you've done so well at it!! Lots of great detail inside and out, well done. A few outdoor shots would be nice to add to the mix
  17. This is a truly wonderful car. It follows the design faithfully and has many notable options that are extremely well implemented. Love how you have so many functions with just 4 controls on the controller! To make the whole bodywork removable is the icing on the cake. Excited to see your new vehicles you've been putting together for so long.
  18. Cheers ? @AFOLegofan66! I’ve revised the front hood to have the front dash moved forwards. I’ll stick with this look as it does look much better. Thanks @nerdsforprez for pointing that out
  19. Ah yes - a convertible option. I was actually thinking of that as an option but I had got so busy with the other functions it kinda fizzled out. It would be easily modified for sure tho. Yeah Orange is generally a racy color for sports cars. I knew the wheel arches would work well so unfortunately yellow was a must... im hoping the Bugatti will give us enough let’s to make a blue Viper i took a few new photos with chrome bits today.
  20. I've followed you on Flickr, super excited to see this supercar come together! As @KD123 mentioned above, interesting build style. I could never nuild like that personally but it seems to be working for you. Keep it up, loving it!
  21. Right on - Glad you enjoyed the car :) Thanks @Offroadcreat1ons! That was exactly what I was going for - minimal design but full bodywork. Thanks LM71Blackbird :) Hey Nerds for Pres! As always I agree and welcome your comments. As Technic Addict and KD123 mentioned, the window A-frame is in the correct location, but due to the missing windshield the looks are a tough off. I could see if I move the the curved hood forwards a stud or two as seen in the top view overlay. Thanks again Cheers! And ya, its been at least a month Thanks for the kind words Technic Addict! I'm super glad you mentioned a buggy motor build to me about a year ago... its really stuck with me and I knew I had too at some point. I noticed there was enough room where I kept the buggy motors for XL so it was natural to try and incorporate both as buggy motors are SO expensive. Thanks Leo! Performance was first and foremost when designing this one :) Thanks. Its actually very hard to work around those wheel arches and light area, with what I had (and working around that removeable top) I made due. Cheers! Hey @KD123 - once again I really can't thank you enough for your helpful hints and ideas at the right timing of the build! Regarding the window I will try and push it forwards a stud or two... might provide the visualization required to get over the A-pillar location THanks @LvdH! I personally have never seen Lego go that fast... it brought the biggest smile to my face! Cheers mate!! I'll see if I can do something with the location of the curved flex axle on the hood... Thanks Meatman. It is nice to see the type of style I follow is something noticeable. I've made a lil left overs edit and posted to Flickr, if you're interested check it out.
  22. The American Club Racing (ACR) model was introduced in 1999, starting with the Viper GTS (Phase SR II). Exclusive 1 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This model had suspension and engine enhancements focused on maximizing performance in road racing and autocross environments. Horsepower was bumped to 460 hp (370 kW) in these models, while torque increased to 500 lb·ft (678 N·m). Weight was reduced by over 50 pounds (23 kg) by stripping the interior and removing other non-essential items such as the fog lamps (replacing them with brake ducts). Dodge Viper ACR by lachlan cameron, on Flickr In an attempt to stay true to its heritage, I've left this beast without bells and whistles in the name of speed. It sport a front clam shell hood, opening rear trunk, and spring back doors. The real catch here is in the speed and options. Dodge Viper ACR by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This Viper packs 2x Buwizz 2.0 (with Ludicrous mode) that power this monster directly to 2x Buggy motors. The gearing is accessible and can be swapped for a higher or lower gear in minutes. Ratios avail: 1:1 and 1:1.7. This model also has many build options: 1. 1 or 2 buwizz / 1 or 2 Lipo / 1 or 2 Sbrick 2. 2 Buggy motor or 2 XL motor 3. Fully manual car (just remove the electronics 4. Swap out the engine on the fly for a new one! Dodge Viper ACR by lachlan cameron, on Flickr The Viper also has a rake to it that I also replicated. 1 stud off the ground at the front, 2.5 studs at the rear. Dodge Viper ACR- open hood by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Its been a pleasure playing with this car OUTDOORS (don't even think of play indoors, I smashed it over 10 times) and I hope you guys enjoy the video! 23. That is surreal!! Unbelievable... It s a true shame we are losing such a legend...
  24. That is absolutely brilliant! Its perfect, and sounds like an engine. Well done!!
