  1. Thanks very much @koalayummies!! I tried as best as I could to replicate the NSX. And thanks for the comment on the interior, very happy with how it turned out. Cheers!!! NSX Interior by lachlan cameron, on Flickr lol I know.... me too! Red overkill for sure! @Isak Thanks very much! Yes it may not perfectly replicate the front, but it has a slightly more aggressive stance with the taller front. Cheers! 2. Hi, Thanks for the patience, this is the first time I have used this website. I have fixed the pending status and you should receive the instructions now.
  3. Hi @technic_addict, yes the 17L ridgid hose is used in the wheel area. You can see the grey in the photo above, its quite minimal where the grey pieces are located visually. You could always paint the 2 parts that need different colors (as much as that is frowned upon its just 2 parts:)
  4. Hey Technic Addict, regarding PN 22961 - they were substituted for grey ones, 48989 for grey, and the ridgid hose is avail. in black on bricklink. I could try and mimic the shape with a ridgid hose tonight at home and show you how it works. I understand completely regarding these questions, I will try and look into it. 5. Hi technic Addict!! The sticker link is in the PDF on page 234 ? and thanks!!
  6. Hey all, The instructions are finally avail. on Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-10559 The white version will be on rebrickable later today. A massive thanks goes out to @Thorsten50 for the countless hours designing wonderful instructions and helping me get setup with rebrickable. And a big shout out to my bro @DugaldIC who continually helps with technical solutions and support, wouldn't be here without you! Its my birthday today, and 2 years ago today I got back into Technic Lego with my first big set, the 4x4 crawler. The rest is history, so happy to have found this awesome hobby! 7. Very cool Blakbird, many thanks!~ More coming? Would love to see the Ford GT rendered with a few different views
  8. I forgot to mention I like the use of 3 shock for the front suspension. Is it the same in the rear?
  9. This is a very original car, I'm impressed for your firs post. Welcome to Eurobricks, you've shown up with a car and a LOT of functions. One thing I could suggest is a bit of scaling added to slightly more realistic proportions. But seriously... you've acutally managed to pack so many features in that small space so well. Love the rear spoiler and door mechanism.
  10. Well you’ve just motivated me to really follow the design intent! You are so right... those small discrepancies really make or break the replication of the car. I am always amazed at people’s abilty to see those small discrepancies with our own eyes! And thanks for the offer to oversee my new builds... I really would like your opinion on the next one before I’m done. Many thanks!
  11. Thorsten has completed the 3D model of the Ford GT. Now onto creating instructions... Ford GT - by lachlan cameron, on Flickr
  12. Thanks Myers! This car is almost a "side project" from the classic Supercar types I've been building recently. This was one of my challenges to myself: Build a new drivetrain capable of faster speeds with a super low framework and tight suspension. I feel I had done just that. You are definitely correct about the front being a stud too tall... but was really having a tough time placing the hood over the wheels with only 2 studs to work with. Acura NSX GT3 - low and wide by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Thanks @Aventador2004. To be honest, this car was a break from the cars I've been trying to model with the supercar shape. It was actually a breathe of fresh air to clear my mind of the difficult supercar bodies I will be creating next. I prob. wont be doing a Sedan in the near future... But I really dont think I'll ever run out of supercars to replicate Acura NSX GT3 - Top view overlay by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Thanks Victor! I was pretty happy with the suspension links solution too :) Thanks! Thanks @technic_addict! Yes, tough part about this hood was to provide a sharper hood angle in such a short distance. And you are spot on, the hood is 1 stud too high. I bet a sticker package would go a long way for this model Cheers! Hey @brunojj1! Thanks for the comments. Below is a picture of the car I really was replicating, the Type R. It has the larger fog lights, the rear end is extremely low, and has a massive wing. I do see what you mean with other aspects you've pointed out and I'm glad you did! This is the first Racecar body type with massive wing and first time with using limited pieces in white so there were many things to adapt to in a short time. I would like to PM you with a few photos of future builds for your expert eye if you don't mind in the future!! Acura NSX GT3 - Type R by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Thanks Dugald! This is by far the strongest framework. It had to be: the car couldn't flex as its 3/4 studs off the ground. Cheers :) Hi Meatman, I'm starting to see what you mean about not using the flex axles for the front. Other solutions could have been a bit better, thanks for the suggestions. Below is why it looks like an Audi, the cars are identical. Cheers @KD123! I like your line "Making a decision and sticking with it". I feel this is an important part of building, to keep the originality flowing. I would be honored if you made this model, and thank you so much for the help with the rear lights! Thanks for the kind words @Aleh Below is a photo overlay of the NSX. The Type R is much wider and lower than the white NSX I used in the photos. I agree the front hood could go 1 stud lower but overall it is a close match to the original. Acura NSX GT3 - Photo overlay by lachlan cameron, on Flickr
  13. ENGINEERING IS AN ART. Equal parts rational and emotional, engineering is at its best when the tension between these sides results in harmony. Flickr: https://flic.kr/s/aHskvSNFP8 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/loxlego/ Such was the vision for NSX GT3. This was my inspiration: NSX GT3 inspiration by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This project began with the intention on designing the fastest 1:8 scale car in my lineup. Thanks to @Kalps1811 for helpin me find this beauty and @DugaldIC for some suggestions that were at the perfect time. I've really wanted to build a wide body, low racecar for some time now and the body style of this car allowed more room fit all the batteries into the framework for extra power. Acura NSX GT3- outdoors by lachlan cameron, on Flickr With the two battery packs and 2 S-bricks the power to the XL motors doubled, and had enough torque to also double up on the gearing. Acura NSX GT3 Type R by lachlan cameron, on Flickr I'm proud to say the gears have never skipped once. The bodywork is 3/4 studs off the ground with ultra tight suspension. Two m-motors are tucked into the main console, each powering a single door. Acura NSX GT3 Type R by lachlan cameron, on Flickr The front sports 10 headlights and a slightly tilted front / grill. 2 lights for the rear, easy battery access, V6 motor geared up 4x faster than before, adjustable seats & steering, working steering wheel powered by servo motor, opening hood and engine cover. 14. Awesome Blakbird! Didn't even know these were getting created. They really make the model pop out in 3D! Thanks for sharing.
  15. Hi @Enilder, Thorsten is 70% done the LDD file for this car. After that is the creation of the instructions, so I'm not too sure how long it might take. Maybe a month or so? I did use the Porsche set to build this car, but will require a few more parts for sure. LOTS of 3L beams and orange flex axles. I had picked up all my extra pieces through the "bricks and pieces" section from Lego.com, (its usually cheapest and brand new) then pickup the remaining parts on Bricklink. I make a list of parts I'd like then look for the cheapest bricklink store to pick up all my parts.
  16. Thanks Thorsten!! The colour combo is looking very cool The top and side view work as a perfect side view for an overlay, so I’ve tested the scaling to the real car with the renders. It’s mighty close!
  17. Keep your head up high @KevinMoo! I’m happy you had to confidence to discuss this online. It’s something that is hard to talk about and you’ve explained it in a way I can relate. This is a fantastic creation and I wish you all the best in your future decisions, and keep creating, we live for your designs!! You’re a true artist. Stay true my friend
  18. Wow... this build it truly amazing. You’ve also done a great job with the video, congrats! Love it
  19. Yes!!! I was waiting for this one to post on Eurobricks!!! You have done an absolutely fantastic job on this build. The photos are stunning and the scaling looks spot on. Love it mate - this one deserves HOF!
  20. Hello all... I am very excited to say Thorsten is complete the instructions for the Veneno - in 2 color schemes!! We are in partnership with Japp for a sticker package, that is the final item to be completed before it is posted on rebrickable. So while we wait, be sure to enjoy the photos of the original and Pirelli version of this 50th edition supercar worth 4.2 million $ Thorsten has digitally designed ! Can’t wait to see this color scheme in real life...
  21. Amazing work @Fosapifi!! I am especially fond of the door trim and the 8x motors! The manual functions replicate the real car so well, its a real beauty. You should share some of your photos here too!
  22. Wow Aleh... I wasn't aware you build this truck! I had seen it on rebrickable but never put two and two together! Its a very creative design and definitely massive!! Love it
  23. Once again another great build has slipped under my radar! This is a fantastic MOC for your first, and you've captured the looks perfectly. Awesome, and welcome to eurobricks
  24. I love it! Wonderful shaping, instantly recognizable with great functions. The Lights are the topping on the cake. I'm also a fan of the rear window, congrats and thanks for sharing!
