  1. Wow! Very impressed. Please continue posting these kind of creations in this Forum.
  2. Wow, my compliments! Fascinating how you have achieved to put all those functions into such a compact build.
  3. Great video and really looking forward to building this set. I am curious how you were able to add bricks without moving the rest of the build between each picture ...
  4. Wow, love the attention to detail! Inside of the doors, wheel caps, ...
  5. You do not need to pay custom fees for orders inside the European Union. You are paying already the VAT (BTW) in Germany. We have a similar service as huifkar here in Luxembourg, but it is offered directly by the postal services. For 5 Euros extra you can have your goods delivered to an address in Germany or France and then the Post delivers it in Luxembourg. Takes 1-2 days extra but is often cheaper than international shipping fees. This does not work with the Lego shop. They state the following: "We are unable to take orders for delivery to PO Boxes, hotels and freight forwarding services."
  6. Great ... Looking forward to it!
  7. Very nice. It would not surprise me if Lego would bring out such a model one of the next years. Do you intend to make instructions for this model?
  8. I had the intention to start building some MOCs. Sheepo's Defender was high on my list, but this would require a complete reorganisation of my bricks. So far I have them organised by model. Subconsciously I have been postponing this reorganisation. Instead I am building models I have not yet build. I have build Designer Han's crane truck. Great instructions and looks on par with 42043 and 8258. Now I'm in the process of building Mr Tekneex car transporter. I have split the instructions in 4 because they were too big for the iPad, but they are excellent. So yes, set 42009 is the best value for money set I have.
  9. Very nice! And thanks for the detailed images. Next time I'm at my parents I will look for an old Lego fireboat I had as a child ...
  10. Good idea and very clear instructions! Will definitively make this change the day I get this set.
  11. Thanks for the great review! Now I know all I need to know. Underwhelmed and not convinced by the extra cost of luxury coffee table book and packaging. I'm a Lego Technic fan, not a Porsche fan. Still I know that I will buy this set soon ...
  12. I thought the price was going to be 299 EUR and was considering ordering it on the 1st of June directly from Lego, but despite the fact that the VAT in Luxembourg is 2% lower than in Germany we are supposed to pay 10% more: 330 EUR! I will not out of principle ...
  13. I don't think the following C-models of sets 8048, 8067 and 9394 by Tomik have been suggested already: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=123751entry2570546 I don't have sets 8048 and 9394, but these C-models alone are worth buying them in my opinion. Actually, have you checked out Tomik's website: http://buildinst.sweb.cz/instructionsen.html He has C-models for many Lego Technic models: 8041 8048 8052 8053 8067 8068 8294 9391 9393 9394 42001 42006 42010 42020 42024 42035 42041 Some of his C-models of the Creator series are hilarious! Check them out ...
  14. Hi Andreas, Looks great. I would also be interested in more pictures for instance in extended state, with load etc. A question I have is if you build this in a particular scale that would correspond to one of the existing Lego Technic wheel sets (for instance Unimog wheels or old schoolchassis 853 wheels). Ciao! Willem
  15. I don't know where you are based, but with a bit of patience you can still find reasonable deals for second hand Unimogs. Prices have not yet reached 8043 and 8258 level. I bought a second Unimog last year for 120 EUR with box.
  16. And another c model, this time for set 42009: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=133271#entry2567962
  17. Here is another c-model for set 42048: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/BricksLEGOHovel/lego-42048-c-model-lawn-mower
  18. Instructions are available now on Rebrickable: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/madsen1997/42043-3-mercedes-benz-zetros
  19. Lego Pirates ships have sails, so why not a Lego Technic sailboat with sails?
  20. Just came across this C model for 42032: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/BrickFlux/snow-bike-42032-c-model
  21. That is a vehicle I did not expect to see in Lego Technic and not in that scale + with all those functions. My compliments! I have many memories of the yellow trolley buses in Athens.
  22. Saab 900 Volvo V70 break Citroen SM Rolls Royce Phantom
  23. Maybe 16+ means we will get an old style instruction book with multiple changes in each image ... ;-)
  24. Wow, my compliments. Nice video as well. Towing the Volkswagen bus shows the actual size of the truck! I'm looking forward to the instructions!
