You can look up any LEGO User Groups near you (if any). This is the only way I can socialize, and show MOCs with other AFOLs, apart from a couple local friends. The nearest LUG, to me, is a few hours away.

Welcome to Ameribricks.com - Major Changes Coming!
LEGO Guy Bri replied to Shadows's topic in Forum Information and Help
With the "Americanization" of the forum graphics, I am implementing the following to eliminate any confusion in text: - The letter "Z" shall replace the "S" where appropriate and will now longer be be spoken as "zed" - "U"s where not necessary, will be dropped - Mums are to be called moms - Boots are now trunks and bonnets are now hoods - Estates are station wagons and saloon's are sedans (even though I prefer the first) - Truck will replace Lorry - Caravans are camper trailers - Dual carriageways are just highways, motorways are freeways - Gas instead of Petrol - Tyre loses the 'y' for an 'i' - Soccer will replace football. Hand-egg will be just that... a hand shaped egg - Fries will replace chips. Chips are just chips - Biscuits will be called cookies except when it's a biscuit - Trash is trash, not rubbish, and thrown in a can not bin - All multi-syllable words will be replaced by single-syllable words (i.e. mobile cell phone, overtake pass) - As a bonus, I have written Owen Paterson MP at DEFRA demanding 100% water fluoridation. You too can enjoy forced mass medication! Thank you for your cooperation -
Very nice work here Aether Fox! I really like the fine details you built. I actually got wrapped up in googling Bioshock while writing this. I knew it was a first-person shooter, but that was about it. It looks like a very interesting set of games. You did a wonderful job on this MOC

I actually didn't notice the banner was changed. Zeroed in on WhiteFang's review, I completely overlooked it! I would like to see the users demographic numbers. I've aways wandered which country has peak numbers throughout the day and night. I had a good laugh -

Member Titles - Questions and Answers
LEGO Guy Bri replied to languages's topic in Forum Information and Help
I think he thinks you meant you were going to ask for a title, which he was saying that "will not work/has negative effect". Seems like most tags on newer members are given through a Mafia game, super dedication to a specific topic or discussion, becoming well known through the forum, etc. Most of us will remain titless though... Good luck -
It seems to generally seems to concern peoples instructions being stole and resold. These two topics are more recent examples I could find. Though I believe they are about the same model, I have seen this a few times. I am sure someone can give another incident of someone reposting someone's MOC as there own... unfortunately

I have my collection under lock and key; no windows, no air ducts, one way in and out. It's at my parents house and usually kept lock, but every now and again I am there sorting a new BL order or dropping off some new set(s) and will forget to lock the door. I don't really have much to worry as my youngest brother is 17, going on 18, but my mom occasionally babysits for a family friend. Thankfully has only discovered some of my old, beat up, Hot Wheels and Matchbox. His father actually gave my 2 brothers and I his old LEGO when we were 5, 10, & 13, so it'll probably be a couple years before the little guy discovers LEGO. It would have been nice to show the little guy my city before it was packed up, though

That was fast! I'm glad this worked in your favor and deserved proper recognition. I hope that guy feel like a shoe... whatever that's like. Cheers mate

You have many of my favorite classic sets! I can't wait to see what you have planned for Brixton

That is a really sh***y thing to find. Flattering, but really low. I don't know if it will make much of a difference, but I reported the image as stolen as well. I hope this gets resolved soon

Excellent loco and tender BMW! Very detailed. Had it not have the studs showing on the cabs roof, it's hard to tell it's built out of LEGO! Very well done
-
Wonderful collection AJW! Whie I may be one of the few not into wanting 12V's (was too young) I still appreciate them. I'm glad to see they were kept in such good condition
