  1. Awesome! Another AMG G! This looks pretty serious. Excellent job so far Zblj! Hope the video features this off road
  2. Very clever, seems to work flawlessly
  3. Wonderful station edsmith0075! I really like the detail of the interior
  4. I sure hope not! If a Mod comes and indexes your's, I'll create a new topic of mine, since my Brickshelf has been revised since 2011. I love looking at layouts... probably my favorite thing to do online regarding LEGO! Edit: Looks like Phred hasn't been on i a while
  5. Nice set of vehicles jonwil. I've wanted to do a Lamborghini-like MOC for a while. I really like how yours came out
  6. Nice twist on the Ghostbusters!
  7. Very nice bank MOC niteangel. Much better looking than TLG's, love the look of the exterior
  8. Excellent collection and layout legonut! I see you really took to the modulars and I'd like to see more of the mods to the City Garage
  9. Over the past week I've had four BL orders, under $20 each and a S@H order for the double points, including: 1 - 4207 City Garage 1 - 60010-2 Fire Helicopter (revised edition ) 1 - 10228 Haunted House along with the free bonuses of 1 - 850838 Splinter Minifig Keychain 1 - 5002445 City/TMNT Poster
  10. I'd have them build their city! I think they'd be content living there. Plenty of restaurants, places to go, and ladies. The main problem would be housing, but since they are already under a roof with A/C and their beds plastic, sleeping outside a LEGO building shouldn't be an issue
  11. R.I.P. Jaime Anne Swift 11/16/86 - 4/3/13

  12. Congrats winners! Thank you LegoCityMann for hosting, it was fun to watch and great job to all that entered
  13. Very nice modular Danpb, very elegant. I like details in and out, great job
  14. I can't find the original listing... Having trouble keeping my browser from switching back to ebay/U.S. So, maybe not too crazy, but that's on heck of a starting price for negotiations. I'd love to have one, but not at $40+, let alone the value of a nice car

  16. Oops you're right about the rarity, I had mistaken it for the large passenger jet 7893, much less rare. Anyway, still a ridiculous, unrealistic, asking price. So crazy or showing off
  17. It would be nice, but probably won't make it, due to numerous licenses needed. That would really cut into profits, but thats not to say they can't take the concept of mini shops under LEGO 'brand' stores (Octan, etc). Then again, I'm sure most of the votes were for the actual name brand stores... real catch 22. Either way, I could always use some new businesses in town and would definitely buy! I just don't know how many kids would go into a toy store and say "I want a Starbuck's Coffee Shop". Then again, I don't know any kids
  18. You're not missing anything. People sometimes do things like this for a number of reasons. One guy has a massive collection of storm or clone, not really sure which, posted on eBay asking either $100 or $1,000+ for one individual fig. He apparently knew it would result in no one buying. Someone on the forum asked him kindly why, he just wanted to show off his collection, using ebay as a hosting medium. No sale = No charge. 7696 isn't too special, but that could be the reason, or a severe typo, or he could just plain be out of his mind
  19. Wonderful work, very detailed Lazarus! This is quite a project, I can't wait to see the next installation
  20. Nice set of truck Bregir! I've been thinking about building a 6W T.V. van, as well. I have the classic set, love it, don't want to take it apart, so I bought a couple extra decorated panels a good while ago. This really makes me want to give it a whirl
  21. That is strange.. I had seen, 2126 Train Cars many times as a kid in the LEGO catalogs in the mid-late 90's. I am in the U.S. which may be a contributing factor. I was the complete opposite on the 2150 Train/4554 Metro Stations though. I never knew of 4554, but that was a year or so before I got my first set and a few years before I started collecting and getting catalogs . Off topic, the yellow one was listed @ 600pcs for $72 USD, the red @ 599pcs for $73... go figure. I'm probably stating the obvious, but when it comes to "limited availability" seems, to me, like it's available though TLG only, or available only to country(s) X, a particular retailer, etc. I'm not exactly sure how they handled limited/exclusive set distribution that far back. Let alone availability for other countries. Set numbers, on the other hand, completely elude me... Some crazy algorithm I suppose
  22. Very clever, much more detail! Great job
  23. Definitely, of the three street sweepers of this style, 6645, 6649, and 7242, this would be my second fav behind 6649
  24. Nice review Kivi. I've been trying to get one of these for a couple years. I love the bin on the back. They don't show up often on ebay, but when they do, someone wants a 'buy it now' premium. I do really like the catalog that it came with. I have one, but not in that good of condition
  25. 2 - Oky - 1 3 - Pilili Cuicui - 1 4 - Penguin - 1* 5 - Cecilie - 1* 6 - burlogh - 1 ThaukaFilms had great animation, but being more of a documentary, I have to give him runner-up. Great job anyway
