  1. Nice review, thanks. I had never seen this set before, heh. Looks quite interesting, I'll try to track down a copy.
  2. Vinyl dye is all you need. You can order it on Amazon.
  3. True, I guess. Also, they probably didn't want to make the model overly complex. Anyway, we're probably getting a bit off-topic here.
  4. Sariel's (excellent) Tumbler is both larger and heavier, has proper suspension, and steers perfectly
  5. Well, he uses them as front hubs.
  6. Madoca makes plenty use of them in his MOCs.
  7. Damn Ted, it's going to be way too hard to vote. I propose we cancel the contest to prevent people from breaking down due to mental stress.
  8. Eh, there are UCS models that offer a lot of functionality instead of just 'drive straight into any bumps'.
  9. Beautiful indeed. The entries are just getting better and better.
  10. Totally awesome. Easily better than the UCS, and that with a million less parts
  11. Time to generate a new PDF Thanks for updating the instructions.
  12. That's one cute little tractor, never seen one before. The Lego model is really similar, great job.
  13. I love it, very cute! Great to see some studfull entries.
  14. Tires are correct. If I were you I'd list the tires and wheels as separate parts, rather than as counterparts.
  15. Technically that should be two words.
  16. Mahjqa with another awesome creation, you got some serious skills man
  17. They look good, both the small and big one. Did you create instructions for the latter? First time I've seen it, it looks great. Anyway, the mini one will definitely be a contender for the prizes. P.S.: you should post the LXF file, then we can help figuring out what part to remove.
  18. I like it! Very elegant in all its simplicity. Have you submitted it to Rebrickable as well?
  19. Not really, though if you want to go black all the way like I'm doing now, you will also need black axle pins, 3L pins, and various black axles of odd length. I'm also making the upholstery tan to improve the contrast, which also requires several rare pieces. White would be a cheaper option for that. I will post an in-progress picture soon. They're pricy but well worth it IMO. I've got two of them now.
  20. I wouldn't mind a Nascar set, we haven't had a decent TLG supercar in ages.
  21. Unfortunately there are no instructions, you will have to use LDD and the provided LXF file to reverse engineer the build.
  22. I agree with the others, don't bother with the M motors. It's worth redesigning your chassis to incorporate L motors.
  23. Agreed, it's a pretty good parts pack. The blue panels were pretty rare before this set arrived, only appearing in 8052 IIRC.
