Cool, looking forward to it :) Would it be possible for you to create the parts-list as a BrickStore inventory? That way I can easily subtract the inventory of the original 8043 to see what parts I yet have to acquire separately.

I assume most 8043 owners have also built the B-model.. but I haven't seen any reviews of it yet (at least, in this forum). What is it like? Does it function properly with the old actuators or does it also need the improved ones to lift anything at all? Also, what parts are left over after building it? The reason I'm asking is that I'm considering buying two highly discounted 8043 sets.. one for the A-model and one for the B-model :)

Bump because I have the exact same problem :) Anyone have a full list of the extra parts required? I'm planning on buying the (improved) 8043 soon, and it will be my first Technic set.
