  1. Great job! It's like 42024's bigger brother.
  2. Oh I didn't spend the 600 euro for this car alone, it's just the total worth of all the parts together. I plan to make more chromized Deluxe MODs of popular MOCs soon And the backend was a mistake yeah, just fixed it
  3. Well then get to working, you lazy bum! By the way, hoping to see some of the 'pro' Model Team builders like Lasse D, Bricksonwheels, Ingmar Spijkhoven and Sariel enter!
  4. I meant purist as in building it exactly according to the original design. Good luck intercepting a package from Denmark to The Netherlands, when you're in the USA
  5. Bah, you're a fake purist. I ordered four of them from Lego directly
  6. Ordering the 'new' parts directly from Lego is no problem at all.
  7. Jim is really rich guys. In fact, he told me he will be handing out rare Model Team sets to everyone if you guys behave.
  8. Alright. I've just ordered most of the missing parts, can't wait to build it! The LBG frictionless axle pins aren't that rare by the way, there's some German who has 156 of them, for example. The 4 x 53533 is quite hard to acquire though That's a new part for me, first time I see it. I think I just bough tthe last one in The Netherlands Sorry! Edit: ah, only missing 10 x 15100 now. Seems like they're no longer available at Pick a Brick, somebody must have been buying huge quantities of these.
  9. Merel (Blakbird): there are some light gray (i.e., not LBG) parts in your part list, are these the correct colour?
  10. Ah, alright. I use it on Mac OS, no problems here. Edit: I have 94.2% of all parts required. Time for a BL order.
  11. You're still using Brickstore? Try Brickstock instead, it's an updated version and is still being maintained, as opposed to Brickstore.
  12. Outside covered in studs and tiles, innards Technic. Should have some functionality. That's all there is to it
  13. Exactly what I think. Picture reviews are much more convenient for me. Videos are nice to show off functionality, that's it.
  14. There's more to Lego than buying sets, isn't there?
  15. I've never been 'gone' since 2010, when I returned from my dark ages. Even if the sets aren't great, there's always plenty of cool MOCs to build or improve. Anyway, I think this fits better in the Community forum or something like that?
  16. For sets I don't really care, I hardly buy any of them anyway. For MOCs I prefer RC, nowadays it's quite easy to add RC functionality to MOCs without compromising looks, as Madoca's excellent MOCs show.
  17. Picture reviews are much more convenient for me.
  18. A very promising start indeed! Looking forward to the final model, I'm sure she'll be a doozy
  19. Yeah, I think there are too many people building all those cool cars
  20. I wonder how different a crane would have to be before you stop comparing it to 42009, heh.
  21. Wow, I had no idea red #3 connectors are so rare nowadays. 5 euro a piece, that's ridiculous. Glad I've got a sizable collection of them ...
  22. That's a very good looking crane, great job! Makes no sense to compare it to 42009 by the way: this is Model Team, 42009 is pure Technic.
