  1. sheo, you're awesome! I think I'll wait till the final version of the instructions, I have some other MOCs I have to build first
  2. Not necessary to call out individual MOCs IMO.
  3. Whatever you're paying your hamsters, it's not enough.
  4. This was just added to Rebrickable, couldn't find a topic for it here. Awesome looks and functionality! Rebrickable: http://rebrickable.c...slaw/mirage-101 Youtube: Instructions: http://bricksafe.com...instruction.pdf
  5. Yeah, it's hard to judge MOCs objectively. Would be cool to have some kind of review section for MOCs, especially since some creators now charge money for the instructions. I've bought instructions for some MOCs that I've afterwards regretted buying, because the build quality was so poor.
  6. Well this might be an unpopular opinion, but I think this 'Hall of Fame' is getting a bit diluted. Seems like any Technic MOC that is big and looks half-way decent is being added. Some MOCs like Madoca's Wing Truck and Nathanaël Kuipers' Concept Car are true masterpieces: good-looking, complex, lots of functionality, fun to build, and excellent build quality and use of parts. It's a bit of a shame to lump them in with all the others. Now it's more like a MOC index than a real 'Hall of Fame'. Note: just to prevent predictable replies, this is just my opinion, and I haven't created any good MOCs myself, I'm aware of this.
  7. The BIs on the Lego site still show the new part being used?
  8. Doubt PPs would work well, the single XL supplies barely enough torque as it is.
  9. Very informative video Sariel, thanks! Your hamsters did a good job too, hope they have a good agent.
  10. Good to hear! Looking forward to building it :)
  11. Welcome to EB Bruno! Looking forward to more of your MOCs.
  12. Yep, like I said earlier, Jim did a great job on this contest. Putting restrictions like a maximum number of parts really forces people to use their creativity.
  13. I 100% agree with this. I would give the design a 7/10 at most, as I've come to expect more from a Technic flagship model. Functionality and playability are excellent though, which, in the end, is probably more important. It's a toy after all.
  14. Yeah, that's another nifty feature. I'm really impressed by the way the whole thing is assembled. Very clever use of parts. Madoca-like!
  15. Well, no point in entering anymore! This is gonna take first place
  16. Is it me or does the front 'windshield' look really odd in that render? It looks almost 'squashed'. What about lime? Polo-Freak: damn, that's beautiful! I love the orange!
  17. I'd like to see a supercar in orange, give that a try?
  18. This is a really impressive MOC. Not only is a lot of functionality packed into a small yet attractive model, but the build quality is excellent as well. Very clever and efficient use of parts, and a joy to build. Could be an official model. Highly recommended, and its spot in the Hall of Fame is well deserved.
  19. Ah, that 458 is by Brunojj, he made a new spider version of it apparently. By the way, if people are wondering where all the red soft axles and connectors on Bricklink went.. apparently Blakbird is hogging all of them
  20. I spy Sheepo's Mustang, Lipko's Supercar, Jurgen's Koenigsegg, Crowkillers' Porsche and Nathanael's Concept Car. The Ferrari 458 is new to me, it looks good though.
  21. Nice, but I thought the model had to be (mainly) Technic?
