  1. Excellent limousine and scene. You picked a good ambassador. Nice security detail too. And that street light is perfect. Glory to KLR!
  2. Fair comment. I intentionally kept some details out of this MOC. I hadn't done any post production work like I did for the night vision before and wasn't sure how it would come out. Without the colors, some details are already washed out and become hard to see. Other things become glaringly visible that normally aren't. Those "translucent" pieces are hideous in this format, but I couldn't find a way to remove them without everything really looking pathetic. It is definitely a learning experience for this mission. IF I do another green scaled setup, I have a better idea what will work and won't now. It sure won't be an airborne drop.
  3. Well done. The cockpit and tail remind me of the Porsche 956. I like how you managed to get the arrow done in tiles on the nose.
  4. Purple: grape juice?
  5. Thanks. I can't seem to find a good way to brick build the lines and parachute, so left them off. That's why I cropped the picture so low and left the operators a bit higher up. Thanks. Glorious propaganda for the PDSRE and KLR is something we strive for.
  6. Lieutenant Rodin was giddy from watching the Ministry of State Secrets operators prepare for the mission. His enthusiasm was infectious, leading to everybody having a good time during the mission planning. Major Brickinov took the young lieutenant aside. "I know you think it's like watching a movie, but this is life and death. Remember that. They expect you to be professional and the best at your duties as well." Smiling, he finished his counseling on a good note. "But it is good to know these men are on our side. They're some of the best at what they do. Enjoy the show." Cruising at 7,000 meters precisely 4 kilometers to the west of the captured cargo ship, loadmaster Sergeant Major Gurkin prepares to open the rear door. "Oxygen!" he yells. Throughout the aircraft, everybody dons supplemental oxygen. Receiving the thumbs up from the operators, he has Rodin depressurize the cargo plane. Once Gurkin's ears pop, he lowers the ramp. Immediately, MSS operators wearing night vision goggles run out the back into the inky blackness. The first operators get close to the ship and pull their ripcords. Parachutes deploy, slowing their descent and allowing them to close on their landing points.. The pirates appear not to have NVGs and the deck lights are low. Getting low, they coordinate their attack, shooting those on deck with silenced weapons before they touch down. More agents arrive as the team begins clearing the rest of the deck and begin infiltrating the ship itself. By morning the surviving pirates are captured and being held on the bow under armed guard. The crew has been freed and is back in control of the ship. Flying the banner of the PDSRE, they steer a course towards the nation of Soalon. They have a cargo of badly needed grain to deliver. Karl Steinschmidt's eyes glisten as he addresses the camera. "Good evening People's Star Network viewers. Today, we have glorious news from the naval forces tracking the captured freighter S.S. Kornmühle." "Yes Karl," Hilda Spiel chimes in. "In a daring action last night, our glorious PDSRE forces retook the freighter on the high seas. Today, it's cargo of grain is enroute to Soalon." "As part of the action," Karl states, "the notorious and wanted pirate Gerard le Brique was taken alive. Sources say he will be remanded to the Ministry of Justice to stand trial for his actions."
  7. All I need to know is it is LEGO. This beast is getting modified to fit on regular track, a XL motor stuffed in the boiler, and some work to make it go around curves. I'm going to have a lot of spare wheels once I put the carriage onto roller bearings. Maybe I'll recoup my costs by hawking the minifigs too :)
  8. Good castle design. Is it a fixer-upper? That would fit well with the Wolfpack mentality and the overgrown feel of the castle. I like the added touch of the beehive.
  9. Thank you. Sadly, you did not inspire me with the train terminal. Going way back, a post had a WW II U-boat with a small train hauling torpedoes to it. I found the post here:https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/109835-moc-world-war-2-saint-nazaire-version-25/ As a train guy myself, having the ability to put tracks and a few flat cars in was nice. That was sort of the inspiration. Not that I'll ever be to the same level as @nebraska.
  10. Fantastic build. Great work on making the tunnel shape first. I like the use of the Overwatch head for Hagrid with goggles. The look Harry has after barely missing the bus is perfect as well.
  11. We appreciate the additional revenue from the arms deal.
  12. That's a Shack! Thanks for the funding.
  13. Quite the cruiser you've built. It's a big ship. About the only thing missing would be a large H on the stern for a helicopter landing pad. There's plenty of room for one. I like the guy falling (pushed?) overboard.
  14. While it is an interesting system for connecting modules together, I know that clips do have a tendency to break. Most people use the technic pin system for its ruggedness. Looks like you have a good start on building fun dungeons to play in. Best of luck with them.
  15. This. Your world, your roles. If you're enjoying playing with them, that's what matters.
  16. I subscribe to the Jens Nygaard Knudsen listing. The other colors are definitely up for consideration. I don't like the idea of pink representing just females. I'd rather see it as more a position than anything. Pink is a good color for medical with red already taken. As light grey came from the little kid, I see it as more a cadet/trainee. Bland color until you graduate.
  17. This is a great MOC of a hillclimb monster! Your brick built details work well, and I prefer them to stickers. Kudos.
  18. Gorgeous car. You've captured the feel of this classic perfectly. While I prefer the coupe normally, the work on the roadster is impressive and looks better I think.
  19. The island is well done at that scale. The fun with the story makes for a good laugh. Thanks.
  20. Good cabin in the woods. Plenty of details both inside and out. I like the clutter one would expect a seasoned mage to acquire during his years of adventuring.
  21. Well known for their naval weapons, the PDSRE has a new prospective customer for 533mm long-range torpedoes and anti-ship mines. At a warehouse on a naval base, Admiral Utoplenny shows off the latest PDSRE technology. First, she displays torpedoes, "designed to break the keel of any warship afloat. They track actively with sonar, or passively, listening to the target's propellers." "Our anti-ship mines have virtually no metal content and are capable of sinking or disabling the largest freighters plying the high seas," she boasts while waving to racks of mines inside the warehouse. "Modern minesweepers will have problems finding these unless the seas are calm."
  22. Great training facility for recruits. Good amount of details. I like the modular building setup.
  23. Good build. Small border post with the right amount of details. They should have been more observant.
  24. Thank you. Cluster bombs are fun because you get a lot of small "booms". I wanted to do more, but ran out of translucent dishes. Thanks. I like aircraft and had built this one for a previous mission. It was a good time to bring it out again as airpower was requested.
  25. Nicely done. I enjoy all the small details you put into the construction of the small submarine. The side walls also have the appearance of a floodable dry dock.
