  1. Thank you for the data on the various radii of curves and straights. As @zephyr1934 mentioned and your data shows, ball bearings are the way to go for real train use. I've converted much of my rolling stock over to ball bearings and axle/wheel assemblies from Brick Tracks. Keep up the good science.
  2. Excellent collection of GG1 versions. Thank you for showing the R1 as well. I wasn't even aware of it's existence until now.
  3. Wonderful appearing palace. The use of gold pieces adds details and highlights, but aren't ostentatious. The harmonious blend of colors gives it a good Middle Eastern feel. The lions heads and the recessed entrance way are my favorite parts.
  4. Great build. I absolutely love the details on the power transformers. All the insulators and high voltage wires are perfect.
  5. PDSRE agents are ready to assist local "freedom fighters" in their efforts to turn the tables on the capitalist companies oppressing the workers. Mission Type: Convoy Raid Eligible to: KLR aligned nations A major gold shipment is rumored to be moving soon. Tribal forces request assistance in taking this lucrative haul. Background intel: Desert nation. PSIC aligned government. Government is stable, but flip flops often. Gold shipments have been raided heavily in recent times. These raids are costing the government significant Brick Bucks and creating a lack of faith in their ability to protect the people. Requirements: minimum size 40x40, must include armored transports Pay: 26 Brick Bucks Expiry Period from Signup: 2 weeks (Due 13 Oct)
  6. Quite the colorful consist. Those colors would definitely grab one's attention as the train moves by. To deal with the "rare" LBley train bases, maybe use the new trailer base option, https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=64954&idColor=85#T=C&C=85
  7. Magnificent work on your 0-6-0 switcher. Being able to see it with the real locomotive in the same picture shows how much attention to detail you put into this. I enjoy seeing the guy on the tender kicking his feet back.
  8. Nice recreation of the old airport. This hearkens back to the days when air travel was exotic and adventurous. I like all the detail work you did to make it match the period photos.
  9. This is perfect. I love the tongue in cheek names and the thematic cars you created.
  10. I believe it means the choice is up to you. As long as the forces aren't appearing "military", but more civilian, you should be fine. A lot of these missions are left up to the interpretation of the builder. Enjoy creating what you think would be a "disguised local presence".
  11. Well done on this platform. It oozes the Blacktron vibe with the color scheme. Even down to the barrels in the warehouse. I like the inclusion of the tram system as well. Adds to the playability.
  12. Great work taking the Troll Wheel and micro scaling it.
  13. Wonderful scene recreating part of Episode IV. Lots of details abound.
  14. Good work on this Ice Planet rover. The color scheme is spot on and the new parts work well in retaining the feel of the theme. The rust feel for me isn't so "post-apocalyptic", but a hard working rover that is used often.
  15. Wicked collection. The small size makes them perfect for filling out scenes or playing with.
  16. Thank you. I built those mortar rounds earlier, but they make great filler for builds like this.
  17. An image of the set can be found on Brickset here: https://brickset.com/sets/60278-1/Crook-s-Hideout-Raid The biggest issue supposedly with the set was the large stick of dynamite on the roof.
  18. Yes, it is reminicient of Jurassic Park. The electric warning sign is from a JP set. I don't have enough string pieces to make the fence from wires, so I improvised.
  19. Great work. The recreation of the banded geology of the American Southwest is brilliant. Reminds me of traveling through that desolate region.
  20. Great design and lots of NPU. The way you angled the hull sections is almost more impressive than your use of the tail pieces.
  21. Incredible amounts of details. Everything is there, even the smoke from the cannon firing. Kudos.
  22. Interesting story line. The new material is rather nasty.
  23. Thanks. I wanted to build an electric fence that looked right, so I used a bunch of bars. Grazi. I can't take any credit on the cactus, it's the backside of the collectable minifig.
  24. At the back gate of the new Al-Quirmam weapons depot, two conscripts guard the installation. They feel secure in their ability to see anything coming at them along the road. A quartet of bikers roll up to the gate to chat. Early in the day shift, the guards are happy to chat. A young gal flirts with the conscripts as men sneak up and enter the drainage and enter the base. Near the end of the guards shift, a truck drives up to the gate. The conscripts open the gate, not bothering to check their papers. The truck with a trailer hauling dual 40mm anti-aircraft cannons rolls through without having to stop. As the heavily laden truck continues past them, the guard in the tower thinks to himself, "That's the best packing job I've ever seen our men do."
