  1. With @TeriXeri reporting being able to see the images, I switched web browsers and can now see them. Funny how that works. The issue is on my end. @Operacion Saturno Anyway, the collection of classic space pieces, both the original and upscaled, is well done.
  2. Fabulous work on this latest batch from Return of the Jedi. All your scenes are highly detailed and must have taken ages to create. The work on the two scenes from Home One alone is incredible.
  3. I've seen this as well. I needed a ton of red 1x4 plates for a MOC and the BL seller included them gratis. It all depends on what you want and the going price. Tiles are one place where B&P is often cheaper due to the demand on them.
  4. The PDSRE Navy gracious accepts more funding for further intelligence activities. Thanks. I wanted the impression of movement and action in the scene. Virtually every click hinge I have short of the red ones that show through is used to make the waves.
  5. What are you all going to say when the K-Pop band BTS set arrives? Yes, I'm wearing my flame proof driving suit as I write this.
  6. Great small weapons test range. I love the bunker with the national flag. As usual, your explosions are some of the best out there. Well done on your new vest testing.
  7. Good work on this. Both sides have their personalities and they show. The office setup with the first floor does have a more warehouse interior look to it. The coffee and vending machines are cool. Using the Ice Planet 2002 tile is a nice shout out. Now, we only have to wonder about the janitor.
  8. My good fellow, the links you provided only show as a string of numbers. They are not clickable hyperlinks or anything. We can't go and view the images unless they are properly formatted.
  9. Thank you. It's a cross between a Russian ZIL limousine and the American presidential one. I felt the blockier, brutalist look fit East Steinovania better, but more people seem to know the USA one. The PDSRE appreciates the hard currency.
  10. Please recheck the links. They are missing important parts. Or you could upload them to Flickr and share the images here.
  11. Wonderful. Been a while since I played Stratego, but the board and pieces are well done. Love the bomb design.
  12. Superb micro scale Tower of Orthanc. I can see a tiny Gandalf falling off in my mind.
  13. If you require a ton of light blue Ford Angelina cars maybe. They still have yet to come out with a quality Hogwarts Castle locomotive set. I'll agree with you that a number of the 4+ sets, especially the farm ones, are excellent for a town layout.
  14. Swapping out the buffers really does this shunter justice. The replacement of the 4L bar handle for the antenna is perfect.
  15. Insane is one word for this. Insanely gorgeous fits it better. The size allows for lots of details. This really steps up beyond most works. I mean it looks like a real frame was constructed first. Adding the lights and sound makes this a spectacular work. NPU with the skateboards as part of the plow.
  16. Or he gets the crazy guy that sends 30 individual segments. 12 have one pin in them, 1 has 2 pins, and 17 without. This would suffice for the "infinite improbability" scenario and blow the statistics professor's mind.
  17. Cute little shunter. This is probably one of the few models where the stock LEGO wheel bearings are perfect given the external leaf springs on the suspension. The electromagnet idea for connecting to the buffers is a cool idea. The only thing I might change is go with a 3 length bar for the grab irons instead of a 4. If it is a 3, then you've done the best you can and it's great. I prefer the black vent color.
  18. "Nice" post. Actually, it is an excellent look at the current state of affairs online. With less in-person social interaction than ever before, many lead their lives online. They crave acceptance and feedback, but are lacking the ability to take anything but positive comments. Sometimes, even the spam comments are appreciated because if validates and acknowledges the person's work. Each person has their own concept of what they want and seek. I agree that the nature of forums does fit better with the "mature" crowd that grew up with less sophisticated social network systems. I get the feeling many today seek instant or near-real time responses and praise for their work. I'm happy if I get one or two people acknowledging that I actually built something in a week. Again, different levels of expectations. Eurobricks is nowhere near as fast as Instagram and it might show in our demographic.
  19. Both sides have their advantages at times. In some cases, a BrickLink seller will have what I want for cheaper after shipping than LEGO. If so, I go with the BrickLink seller. This is often the case for out of production pieces. Or if I need a wide variety of small parts, but not many, then the fees LEGO wants may remove them. At other times, LEGO offers the best price for bulk pieces. I recently built a train station with a glass front. For the windows and frames in the quantity I required, LEGO had the best price. It all really depends on what you want and how much time you're willing to put into finding it all.

Looks like a WV Beetle that got the nose and tail shortened. Your MOC captures the design well.
  21. Excellent M2 Bradley IFV. You've got plenty of details as usual, the openings are functional, and the proportions are correct. Kudos.
  22. Agreed. Your use of bionicle components is wonderful on this. Your main picture does make it look like Benny just rammed through the planet and it's exploding in pink energy, but that's just me.
  23. Good work on your rendition of the Hogwarts library. You put quite a bit of details in that make it feel proper.
  24. Thanks. Thank you. I'd been wanting to do a Soviet style intel trawler and didn't have the ability for the Tosul mission. Now it all came together.
  25. You never know until you try. But I have another segment of track now. Alas, that was the hope. I think they left the pins in just to spite me.
