  1. Dank u wel. We crazy socialists must have everything BIG and RED! Having a huge tub of old red bricks has nothing to do with it either. The limousine in the parade is the convertible version. More to come of it soon.
  2. Good work on the communication tower and support building. This will help in Jalan.
  3. I like the work on the temple. The Anubis figure is quite distinguishable. You shouldn't need to compress your image. Hosting images on Eurobricks is extremely limited. Try using a photo sharing site (I use Flickr), and then embedding the pictures in the thread. Give the thread I linked below a look. It should assist you with posting larger and higher resolution photos.
  4. Absolutely brilliant. I love the facial expressions. The details all around are great. The covered windows, the secure facility, the stack of drug money, everything. Well done. I like the dark twist Koszmar is taking.
  5. Based on feedback from the pilot, the Cessna 172P has been modified. The radio antenna on top of the cockpit has been added, along with the fuel caps over the wings. [/url]Cessna 172P LEGO fueled IV by alpha tango, on Flickr Thank you. I do have a Flickr account, and have left the URL in with the most recent update. I don't have instructions for this MOC. I do all my building on the workbench, nothing digitally. I will note the bottom of the tail, and the underside of the cowling from the propeller to the struts is inverted. I used the trans-clear angled pieces from the superhero collectable minifig sets to build the landing gear. Thanks. It was fun trying to recreate the control surfaces at this scale. I gave up on the rudder early and went for the one piece design, but it took me a while to give in and only do partial ailerons. Due to the connection of the wheels to the angled pieces, the main wheels don't rotate on this model. Depending on how particular you (or the recipient) are, you could fake it. Maybe have a round 1x1 plate at the bottom of the wheel fairing and call it the tire.
  6. Might ye be a lawyer? Either way, I like your thinking. LEGO has a bit of an image issue if they really try to push it in court. I'll bet they'd just send a few nasty cease and desist letters and hope that takes care of everything.
  7. Those smaller XS wheels would go well under my autoracks too. That has always been an issue with trying to make autoracks and some intermodal well cars look good is the wheel height.
  8. The Cessna 172P is not always about the hottest, fastest, or coolest aircraft out there. They are know for training many pilots. This aircraft was created to commemorate a first solo. Built to have one minifig in the cockpit, the larger size allow for more detail such as the landing gear, lights, and hinged flaps, ailerons, and elevators. The new road plates make for great runways too.
  9. This screams "Out Run" with the Testarossa Spider burning rubber off the line. Well done.
  10. Great use of the airship parts to create a viable ship. The cannon port coverings are menacing, and Bowser's head makes a great display figurehead.
  11. This minor change makes a huge difference in the usability of Bricks & Pieces. This will make it much easier to find certain parts as I navigate through their system of classification.
  12. If you added flames to the sides of the red one, it would look retro 50's and hot. Maybe pinstripes on the dark blue one. Leave the classic Mallard as is. Great trio. They are wonderful in real life.
  13. I think it's in reference to the identical nature of much of the build. Much of the command center (and the parade troops and trees in the mortar training) all appear to be copy and paste. With the trees, you have to really look to see it. In the parade, it is somewhat expected. I even got my minifigs to march together, but you can tell the slight differences, especially since they have a variety of faces. This command center looks too perfect, with the exception of a single yellow coffee cup and a black screen on one console. No colonels are standing over the station minders asking what this dot is on screen or yelling into phones about needing a team inserted yesterday. This feels like a nightmare cubicle farm from the movie Office Space. I should know, I work in a cube farm. At least I get to have a small mess on my desk and a photo on the wall. What I'm trying to say is make it visually detailed so that we, the viewer, see action in the scene. Make it visually appealing. Small, fun details bring life to the scene. The largest diorama can be bland compared to a small 8x8 vignette of a spy getting silenced in a dark alley.
  14. Well built. The scenery really adds to this one and you've got a good amount of detail. If you could increase the brightness (unless it's a night scene), it would really make it great. You're definitely improving.
  15. Good looking modular space station. The assortment of modules allows for quite the activities, but has an organic look proper of the nature of the station.
  16. Nice brig. You have the essence of the classic Pirate era playability with this ship. The use of the hammock pieces (which I never knew existed) for small sails is ingenious. Well done.
  17. The PDSRE will influence the ballot to ensure the right politicians are elected in Kirkenes. Mission Type: Political Espionage Eligible to: KLR Background intel: Kirkenes is set to have elections next month. KLR Allies see an opening and a strategic advantage in having influence here. There are several politicians that are running for Parliament seats that are friendly to the KLR cause. Build a team infiltrating the Kirkenes electoral process and working out a way to ensure that our people have a favorable outcome. Requirements: minimum size 32x32 Pays: 18 Brick Bucks Expiry Period from Signup: 3 weeks
  18. Big control room for coordinating operations, but as @ParmBrick mentioned, rather drab. Besides the yellow coffee cup and the general's guards, there's no color at all.
  19. The level of detail on your Type VIIc U-Boat is INSANE! Everything is included and it has the ability to be split into segments. Then you went and really built it! This is a masterpiece. I love how you even have a torpedo being ejected from a tube as an option.
  20. I don't believe any story line personnel will appear that can be exchanged for. Besides the Cartel forces, every minifig and their story is the player's. You can always make a similar backstory and abilities for any soldier, sailor, airman, marine, special operator, ect you want to. Take Lt. Dmitri Rodin, he's the son of a minor Politburo member, and was recently was sent on assignment with one of the most infamous pilots in the PDSRE Air Force. After living a sheltered and comfortable life, just look at the expression on his face when Major Brickinov goes in for the tactical landing on a road (https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/188841-gbw-i15-–-pdsre-–-short-field-landing) This young officer has plenty of room for character development. You could do something similar with your recent trainees. After getting through their special forces school, have them grow during challenging assignments. Make your minifigs yours and write them into the heroes (or anti-hero villains) you see them as.
  21. @firearmsfan Thanks. I have some Star Wars weapons, the old pirates stuff, and a little other items, but only recently have broken down and bought other stuff. I now have a few vests and some firearms. The rest I can brick build or work without. Besides, only the Border Guards (in full ceremonial uniforms) had weapons at the parade. All others are not trusted. Also, I never thought I'd get to use all those Disney Toy Story army men I've acquired in bulk purchases over the years.
  22. Astounding layout and collection. Having all the 12v stuff out and working is mind-boggling on it's own. To add a DB Class 103 in a retro 7740 style along with an Emerald Night/Flying Scotsman is over the top. You even use the new road plates!
  23. Insane. So much in here and it all looks great. The bridge, the waterfall, the skeleton, everything is well detailed. Kudos.
  24. Stunning build. The attention to detail from the cobblestones to the top of the minaret is top notch.
