  1. Flying high over the ocean, Stokkvagen's newest drone encounters a golden owl. And the drone ingests the owl in the turbine air intake. When the engine flames out, the drone ceases communicating with Stokkvagen controllers. Given the altitude and sudden loss of control, the search area is wide. Naval assets are quickly dispatched, but don't find the drone. Tensions rise in the command center. One controller receives a call. He listens in then, then announces to the angry general, "Sir, the East Steinovanian naval attache is on the line." The general turns and gives him a murderous look. "I don't have time for that slinking spy!" "Sir," the controller replies, swallowing hard. "He's asking if we'd like our drone back." The large room goes silent. The last thing anybody wanted was a PDSRE intelligence trawler to recover their drone. One guy in the back snidely comments under his breath, "There goes secrecy." Out at sea, a PDSRE Navy Type 138 ship recovers the downed drone. "Don't damage it any more!" the captain exclaims. "This is a treasure trove of technological information." The crew smiles, they will be well rewarded for their efforts. Recomposing himself, the Stokkvagen general talks with the PDSRE naval attache. He is happy to learn the PDSRE will not divulge any details of their drone to other nations.
  2. Perfect rendition of a reacher-stacker. These are critical at small intermodal facilities and really help make a scene work. Can't wait to see the rest of the yard/setup.
  3. You and me both. That's why I tried it with one segment. If it worked, I was going to order them in mass quantity.
  4. Nice work on the faction and the fleet. I like your use of the older minifigs with the racing suits. They actually work well for a colorful faction.
  5. Nice work on this small chapel. The exterior details are wonderful.
  6. What a tower! All the work to make the rounded shape would drive me nuts. The colors work well and give it a poisonous, evil vibe.
  7. Outstanding recreation of Sanctum Sanctorum. Your attention to detail is superb. Also, welcome to Eurobricks.
  8. My Pick A Brick order arrived yesterday evening. I received only 1 rail segment. I know they removed it from a bundle because it retained both pins. At a $1.34 USD per piece, it's not a bad deal compared to Bricklink.
  9. Thank you.
  10. My, that's an ambitious scene you're building. That's more road plates than even I have! Glad to see they're become accepted. Love the Darkstar style stealth aircraft on the ramp.
  11. Many thanks. I looked at first to see if there were any Cessna models out there and was surprised at the lack of them. I was given two pictures of the Cessna 172P to work from. I started with the windscreen as the basic size reference and worked from there. The rest is sized to "look right". If it is more C152 than C172, it is. The recipient is happy with it (once I added the radio and fuel caps.) As for the lack of wheel pants, the C172 in question is at a flight school. Probably easier not to have the wheel pants on with students.
  12. The PDSRE navy will assist in the Stokkvagen drone recovery Type: Recovery Background intel: The Stokkvagen Air Force was believed to have developed a stealth drone capable of flying to great ranges and also having the ability to conduct air to air refueling. Experts raised the alarm on this project last year after a reconnaissance satellite spotted one on a runway. It is unknown what capabilities the drone may have. 2 days ago, a briefing was given to top officials in the Stokkvagen Intelligence ministry that one of these drones was missing somewhere off their southern coast. Get a team out there and find that drone! Payout: 17 Brickbucks Requirements: minimum size 24x24 Expiry: 3 weeks from signup
  13. Steinovania Auto GmbH 5000 The SAG-5000 is a luxury limousine manufactured in the PDSRE. The stock model comes with a naturally aspirated 6-litre V-12 engine putting out 450 horsepower. A convertible model is also available. The PDSRE government owns a few of each model as well. The most famous version is the convertible used during parades to highlight VIPs and DVs. This convertible limousine is uprated with a supercharged 6-litre V-12 making 550 horsepower. The bodywork is armour plated against small arms fire, and the top can be deployed in 30 seconds. The fabric top is a ballistic nylon capable of stopping all pistol and some light rifle fire. Run-flat tyres are equipped as well. A select few hardtop models have been heavily upgraded to transport high-ranking leaders. The upgraded model is fitted with a twin-turbo 6.6-litre V-12 engine producing nearly 700 horsepower. The chassis is resistant to light mines, and the bodywork rated against heavy machine guns and older man-portable anti-tank rockets. Like the convertible version, it has run-flat tyres. Additionally, it has a full communications suite to include radio and satellite.
  14. @firefabric Thanks. I went for the "look" to be "right" on my Cessna 172. After looking at some C152 pictures, I can see they are extremely similar. It's almost like the C150 is a smaller copy of the C172. The pillars between windows are about the only differences visually. With a small modification to the aft cockpit section it could become a C162 pretty quickly too. Thank you.
  15. The money will go far towards the next election KLR needs to buy off. I wasn't worried about this one ever seeing the front page. I feared it being too risque and being rejected. Yeah, that's it.
  16. Nice briefing room. This is turning into a good story. I like the guy with the bushy "operator" beard and the President Business hair.
  17. Great scene. Lots of details and action all about. The 12v lighting gives it the right feel as well. Outstanding!
  18. Thanks. You make a good point about the "windows". I wasn't sure how I wanted to implement them, so left them open. I hadn't considered doing a separate control room and not having it all in one piece. Maybe next time.
  19. Wonderful border checkpoint. Lots of great details, the banners are outstanding, the barriers all work, and the tank blocks are perfect. I see you used the new road plates too, nice.
  20. Warning! This post contains adult themed content. The creator does not condone the objectification of women or the use of illicit drugs. However, they are a part of life and have been used over the years by intelligence agencies as a means to an end. As such, viewer discretion is recommended. People's Star Network anchor Hilda Spiel's eyes sparkle as she faces the camera. "Reports this evening from Kirkenes show a large number of members of Parliament engaged in highly illicit behavior a week before the elections." "That's right Hilda," her co-anchor, Karl Steinschmidt, adds. "Video and photos show high ranking members of the Kirkenes Parliament engaged in drug use, degrading women, gambling, and accepting bribes. New polls show those members reelection chances are virtually nil." WARNING! Adult themed content! View at your own risk! (No nudity is involved)
  21. Wow. That's getting really small for motorization. Great work.
  22. Superb V60. I can see this little shunter working a small yard anywhere in Germany.
  23. Nice work on the Vectron. The front angles are hard to get and you did well. I applaud you for working in 6-wide. I do the same and it is challenging to get good results.
  24. Danke. There don't seem to be many Cessna MOCs around, but it IS the most produced aircraft in the world. Funny how that goes. Grazi. I did my best to make it accurate for the scale. And as mentioned (and seen in GBW), the road plates are highly versatile. Roads, airstrips, docks, bunkers, and more.
  25. Crazy great work. The ring itself is a stunning piece. The ruined arches, with the droid legs to boot, makes it awesome.
