Hey! I'm Oshikaru, but I'm NOT your Sensei.

Welcome! I reccomend investing in a used camera, for little investment you can get an excellent camera for Lego photos. Feel free to PM me (as soon as you reach 10 posts) if you you would like advice. -
Great! I normally don't go for these S&H promotions but this one is a must for me. Probably. Classic city is much more likely at this point.

They look great! I particularly like the top one, second from the right. Those shields are now on my to do list...

Great job, the landscaping is excellent. Having a transition between two different colours of grass works really well here.

REFERENCE Dusting Lego displays and layouts
BrickCurve replied to SirNadroj's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I personally use tooth brush. It works quite well for most parts. I recommend the Giottos rocket air blower for harder to reach parts of a model. They are designed with camera sensor cleaning in mind so they have a dust valve to stop them sucking in dust. http://www.giottos.c...d=8&TypeId=77 The large size should do the trick. Note, don't buy any other brand apart from Giottos, they either don't have a dust valve or they can't blow air out with enough force to remove stubborn dust. -
Welcome (back). Why didn't you just change your username on your previous account? I think you will find that having 2 accounts is against site rules.

Sorry, I know what you mean but, the captions would lead member who don't know about the BF&C academy to ask in general discussion. Maybe the captions should be altered.

[MOC] Lord of the Rings- Aragorn "I Swore to Protect You"
BrickCurve replied to samiam391's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Nice one. I think the green you used is too bright compared to the movie. The olive grass and olive leaves would have worked better here. Apart from that the MOC is excellent, thought the grass could be a little thicker.- 14 replies

Maybe, that team isn't assembled yet, I am still missing an Avalonian and a Mitgardian. -

The new banner looks great! Perfect timing, I was starting to get tired of the old one. -

That would be fun, though I don't know if it would justify a whole challenge, maybe a mini challenge would be a good idea. -

The southern part near the inland sea is definitely Kaliphlin, I've even started a town/city there! I think that counts as claiming to for Kaliphlin. I think the far northern part is Avalonia, though most of it is Kaliphlin. -

Amazing build! The small details really help make this model shine, such as the dingy and the colourful cabin.- 22 replies

Welcome to GoH. I don't think you can link images from cloud services, you will need to upload them to an image hosting service such as Flickr, Bricksafe or Brickshelf. -

I talked to my local independent and they said they can't get it, even though they have had the ideas sets in the past. He also mentioned that it was going to be an exclusive. -

I have been teaching my 9 year old sister Mind Storms (NXT 2) and while she is interested, she is frustrated by it not working with her iPad. This is exactly what I was after, rather than buying NXT 3.- 780 replies
