  1. Great ship! Especially considering the limitations of using the prefab hull parts. The colour schemes is very well balanced the sails are perfect for the size, the figurehead is excellent. I also really like the design of the cabin.
  2. Good job, I particularly like the interior, it is very well furnished. I feel like the division between the grey and the tan is a bit sudden. It might look better as two seperate models side by side instead.
  3. Excellent MOCs. The presentation is excellent too.
  4. Thanks everyone. I really appreciate it.
  5. Great job, I feel like the shark submarines nose is not quite right. If you try experimenting with other parts for the nose I think it would improve it a lot.
  6. Thanks. Well maybe you can join the real best Guild for book 3!
  7. Thanks, I just hope it survives transport via air to an expo!
  8. Update: see Post #6 An entry into the feast category of the castle creations competition over on MOC-Pages.
  9. Sorry for the double post. Here is my entry opposing the Desert King- http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=129194 The second MOC down is the one which I am actually entering, I just ended up with a series of three storyline MOCs!
  10. My entry into the Desert Kings challenge, opposing the Desert King. The second MOC down is the one I am entering. On his way to visit his friend Eredhalion on Peregrinus, Lord Parimere and a band of his High Council supporters have been captured by a band of the Desert Kings soldiers. Intent on transporting him to the capital for trial for treason against the Desert King, little do the guards realise, they are the ones who are now being hunted. As they approach the Akhenaten delta, the Desert King’s forces are caught in a surprise attack of Lord Parimeres friends and fellow High Council supporters. They managed to free Parimere but are unable to free the rest of the prisoners before the Desert King’s soldiers rally and repulse there attackers, forcing them to flee into the delta. As the convoy approaches Petrea, part of the force of guards departs to swiftly travel ahead to bring news of there coming, the tables are turned and the remaining guards are sent fleeing to the capital by a group of cavalry. Little do they know that the force of cavalry is made up of only three war horses, the rest are steads borrowed from supportive locals, and are just used for intimidation. Anxious to save his honour, the captain of the cowardly guards exaggerates the size of the cavalry, leading the new ruler of Kaliphlin to send his forces to capture a large force of cavalry. Little does he know that the ‘large force’ has already returned there mounts to there local allies. They have already returned to Castle Parimere, hidden near the inland sea.
  11. Back to sorting...

  12. Great MOC, I feel like the walls need a bit more 3D texture, e.g. headlight bricks with 1 x 2 plates on the side to add a bit more texture. Some vines would be nice as well.
  13. I would always recommend plates for this sort of thing. The baseplates can flex, mores than with bricks, though I think plates look nicer in general. For anything of this size, I recommend building in baseplate size models. Connecting the base plates with friction pins, with bricks around them to raise the height. Then add a layer or two of plates for extra strength.
  14. Pretty good for a 10 year old, particularly in those time constraints.
  15. Great MOC! The amount of detail you managed to fit into the backstage part is amazing. I also really like the lighting grid.
  16. Incredible MOC! The shaping of the building, the roof and the trees all combine to make an excellent MOC. I feel like the vegetation needs to be thicker in some places though.
  17. Great job, I particularly like the rock work. Nice tree design as well.
  18. Excellent MOC. The only detail I feel needs work is the division between light and dark grey in the cliff. The place where it changes is too a bit too flat, particularly in the middle of the cliff. Adding a dark grey slope slightly higher up would really improve it in my opinion. Everything else is just about perfect. Edit: Especially since it is your first large MOC, i'm impressed.
  19. Or 4 days left to reaffirm your support of the High Council!
  20. I just found this in the Historical themes forum, its not a GOH MOC but considering how well it firs Kaliphlin I thought I better put a link here. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=128164. (Note, this is not my MOC).
  21. Wow, incredible MOC! You should repurpose this for the Kaliphlin guild in Guilds of Historica.
  22. Excellent job. Thats a very impressive amount of mini figures! I think it would really improve the model if you added some more tan plates under the Orcs, it would give the landscaping a much more realistic feel.
  23. Wow, great build. The wale is excellent, although I have to admit, my favourite part is the underwater landscaping!
  24. Great castle, the forest and village look really good as well. It would really improve the quality of the images if it was photographed on a neutral coloured background. Some transparent blue plates in the river would be nice, adding a bit more texture to the water.
  25. Great build, I really like how you have angled the base. The leaves on the tree are a little flat, I know how hard they are to get right using that technique and the trunk more than makes up for it.
