Thin Hairline Crack on my Thin Hairline Piece
BrickCurve replied to Actor Builder's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have hairline fractures in some cheese slopes which I got a few years ago now, from memory it seems to be only the light bluish grey ones that crack. Particularly ones from 2008. Some clips on the LotR horse saddles are also broken. I need to ring Lego about that, but have found the customer service call waiting time to be horrendous.- 17 replies

What an excellent path technique. I will have to see if I can get some of those hammers from Bricklink. -

[GoH] A Walk Down the Street
BrickCurve replied to Jakorin Swiftsword's topic in Guilds of Historica
Brilliant street scene. As others have said, really nice thatched roof. What really does it for me here is the road. The texturing on the buildings is excellent as well. -
Thanks.Edit: I'm a Knight!

Great build, I really like how you did the trunk. It looks like part of a tree while being symmetrical enough for an amusement park ride. Having a white base for your photos that matched the other ones would really improve the overall presentation of the model.

I really like this. Its small but perfectly formed. Well done!

They look quite good. They would be greatly improved if they were mat instead of shiny. Not as nice as a brick built road, but a lot cheaper and easier!

This is great! I look forward to seeing it in person at SBS tomorrow .

Flattening a wrinkled old-style cape
BrickCurve replied to retrotaco's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I spray them with a small amount of water and then putting them under a heavy book. If that doesn't work, I dip them in water then lightly iron them, basically the ironing method above. -
Great build, I particularly like the roof.

Excellent build, the character is impressive but my eye is drawn to the arch. Probably because i'm a castle builder .

Great MOC, I am not sure whether I like the the front of the ship though.

Adventurers Egyptian Layout (Updated)
BrickCurve replied to Athos's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Great layout! Its really nice to see another Egyptian one, they are quite rare these days. Something set in Egypt is now on my to do list! (Assuming it doesn't turn into a GOH Kaliphlin build first ). -

Great diorama! I think some of the vegetation is not quite thick enough though. -

Great job! My favourite part is the spiral pattern you managed to achieve with the 1 x 1 round plates. -
Thanks everyone!

Good job, I really like how you did the sun. I think if you added some 1 x 1 slopes too the battle meets and landscaping it would really improve it, making it appear less blocky.

Wow, what a great project! Now one day you will have to actually build it!

Excellent job. The sea, hut, palm trees and ship compliment it really well. The only thing I can think of is that the sand is rather angular, making it out of 1 x 2 plates would improve it a lot.
