  1. I would like to claim these credits for my Coming of Spring MOC- http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=136226 Landscape design, snow and ice. Landscape design, Trees (technique 1/3).
  2. I think the only option until the new one is created is to post free builds here. The Coming of Spring | BrickCurve | Kaliphlin
  3. I just completed a Mitgardian build as well! The Coming of Spring Edit: post 700!
  4. A build set a few months after the Algus were routed from Mitgardia. The Algus are defeated and some parts of Mitgardia are beginning to thaw out, much to the delight of the local wildlife. My entry for the natural beauty category of the summer joust. I would like to claim the UoP credits for: Landscape design, snow and ice trees (technique 1/3), and Brick built animals 1/3
  5. Looks great! UoP +1 for all claims.
  6. Amazing build, the amount of parts used for the base and rock work alone must be astronomical!
  7. I have an iMac in one corner of my building space. The online resources I use the most are probably Flick for inspiration and EB for feedback on WIPs and finished models.
  8. Excellent as usual! I really like how you did the cheese slope roof. Also, nice touch with the string on the flag pole, thats something not many people think of- how are the mini figures going to raise the flag without it?
  9. Simon has had to pull out of the Kaliphlin team, and has been replaced by Gabe.
  10. Good job! That red roof works surprisingly well, I will have to remember that colour for future MOCs.
  11. Very impressive, especially at that scale.
  12. Great job! That wall texturing is top notch. The effect of a crowded, vibrant market place is really well represented here. Any chance of you joining GoH? This build would be a perfect fit.
  13. Great build! The roof and architecture is excellent and the rock arch steaks the show! The story fits well with the MOC also. I think they are from a third party (Brick Arms?) minotaur / moose building kit. I believe it is the same one that Mark of Falworth and Brother Steven use in their MOCs.
  14. The finished version of whatever MOC I am currently working on.
  15. I have seen some sticker sheets, (not many) that have extras of really small stickers that it is easy to make a mistake with, such as the horizon express transparent window sticker.
  16. I am no train expert, but that engine look great!
  17. Looks great! I think it needs a slightly taller rim around the front of the boat though. Also, photographing it surrounded by trans 1 x 1 round blue plates would look really good as well.
  18. Amazing! One of the best MOCs in that style I have ever seen!
  19. As I have said in various other places, beautiful MOC. I am still surprised it didn't win best in show at BV. If its still built, you could very easily repurpose the cloud base into most impressive base for a snow scene.
  20. Welcome back! Of course its not too late, though I think you have established the new record for a late competition entry. It is one of my favourite Kaliphlin builds of all time and would make one impressive free build - even if it is an old MOC, I am sure the new arrivals to the guilds would love to see it!
  21. Looks great, I will have to try an effect like that- it works really well. I look forward to the completed model!
  22. Excellent! I can't see anything that could be improved, in fact, the only thing that needs work, as you stated is the background, which would be quite and easy fix is photoshop or equivalent software. Adding the section of path being renovated is a really nice touch- I assume you ran out of tiles and had to improvise? Overall, too many excellent details to comment on here! When I first saw the title I though it said Pizza instead of Piazza- I must be hungry!
  23. It looks really good, in fact, the main thing that lets it down here is the photography, it makes it more difficult to see what would otherwise be a really interesting MOC. Going to the effort to use a neutral background will make a whole world of difference, alternatively, photoshopping the background would work.
  24. Nice one! The detailing on the floor and staircase is really standout. I saw the 'How to Make an Enchanted Pumpkin Pie' in the new topics list on the main page, I clicked it immediately!
  25. Nicely done, the tree angle is excellent. A dark red might have worked better here, the bright red distracts from the build. How did you do that first photo? I am guessing slow shutter speed and a white balance effect.
