  1. Oh, yes! That would definitely seem the likely buildable accessory to go with him.
  2. As a lover of Gremlins & Goonies, I'm totally with you. It's practically an 80's takeover. Wonder if Sloth will have a Baby Ruth printed tile(I haven't seen pictures yet...)
  3. Caps hair in 76037 Black Panther Pursuit. Ironically, it's the last Marvel set(until the new sets are released) that I need.
  4. That alley area is a great idea, especially if one goes the route of moving the Modulars up & covering the roadplates studs with the existing sidewalk from the set. Since the corner buildings throw off the alignment with the roadplates.
  5. This is amazing! It's like a flip book of the movie itself. The builds are fantastic.
  6. I had mine cover the studs on roadplates before, but when you get to the corner buildings, it throws off the alignment. I switch my layout around quite a bit & grew tired of having to remove them. I liked the look much better though. Now, with the studs exposed, I use them as curbside parking. Others have extended the sidewalks to include that part or make a shoulder with a bike path in it.
  7. To sort of piggyback on what Dakar said, I have a small walkway path of 1x1 plates & studs. I have them set up as every other one. Example, I have it four across, stud-plate-stud-playe. It's a nice mix & looks pretty nice.
  8. Wow! I was not expecting a transformer. That is fantastic. It's like a toy playset of yesteryear.
  9. 76051 Superhero Airport Battle It's back ordered until the 16th. Waiting that extra time...ugh! I want my 40221 Fountain. I built a pretty cool(if I do say so myself) base for it.
  10. Overall, I really enjoyed it. My biggest gripe was Apocalypse's voice. Generally, it didn't fit his character, minus a few glimpses throughout. It definitely wasn't menacing enough. The face lines given to Angel made sense(kind of) if you know of his purple /blue incarnation. Other bits:
  11. Replied to wrong thread...
  12. That little girls torso print is fantastic.

Great idea for the corners. I've been thinking about making something with the masonry bricks, but unsure about the corners.
  14. I'm only part way through, admittedly, I'm a bit confused, mainly because I don't know what happened with Wally to bring him where he is. Should I have bought Justice League 50 & Superman 52? I'm already buying too much, but if it'll help understand what goes on in Rebirth, I probably will.
  15. I want to see how they(if) work Supergirl into the universe, since it was said she is in a different one. I knew that man in the iron mask was Garrick though, so pat on the back to me. This show has made me a big fan of The Flash.
  16. Me too. I guess backgrounds & characters actions don't play a part in who we get. Never thought we'd see Deadpool, Deathstroke, Red Hood and the like. I was most surprised to see Carnage so far. Nothing like a murdering psychopath. As for FF & X-Men, fairly surprised they didn't piggyback on Apocalypse coming out & release at least one X-Men set, to our knowledge, in the second half release schedule.
  17. Some more tiles. Some odds & ends to make a base for next months statue in 40221 Fountain. CMF S15 Faun.
  18. 76051 Superhero Airport Battle so I can get 40221 Fountain. I really want 60134 Fun in the Park, but can't match it up with other wants to hit the $75...
  19. If they compared LEGO to other toys, they'd be the lowest on the totem pole. One of the most iconic toys out there are "Green Army Men". There's a whole slew on toys on the market that's sole purpose is conflict. One comment on the article even mentions the "Tom & Jerry" cartoon show... This is just another lame attempt at bubble wrapping the world & trying to ruin it. Instead of playing with LEGO, these kids would likely be playing video games...doing the same thing this article is poorly attempting to highlight, being violent.
  20. I'm in the same boat. Excluding the ground floor, interiors don't matter to me. Take 10185 Green Grocer, for example. Great exterior & ground floor interior details with a sparse interior on the rest. All at $150. I'd love it if they went back to that & stayed the course.
  21. Comparing the price to that of the CMFs, it's pretty equal. The builds in the set are nothing to rewrite home about. It's much like a large battle pack, bought for the figs. I didn't notice at first, but even the dog is new, print wise.
  22. The catalog quite a bit unfair. As there's a lot more license themes, which the source material plays heavily on violence. Of course catalog depicts violence more.
  23. I would like to see the single building uses back as well. The recent "two buildings" and the accompanying stories are funny and all, though. I'm not sure where the idea come from, as it seems most Modular buyers don't actually play with them, just display. While building I was entertained by the play features, but that was it.
  24. Those pictures are too much Scooby one is great. As is the eyeball one. Looks like a young Orb.
  25. That is great, I really like the statue. I've been looking(well, waiting for 40221 Fountain polybag next month) for the square portion of my town. I really like the water bit added. The whole build is really good.
