Not to mention we're getting a new book, on Harry's birthday no less!, so this year HP is certainly on the forefront. I'd definitely love to see that, as I've been clamoring for a D2C Hogwarts since its reboot.

Got a few issues/questions...new to Flickr. I have checked it on my laptop, iPhone, & iPad. They all have different results. Why is that? My laptop, which has Internet Explorer has: profile picture & header picture. It does not have anything on the Camera Roll, Photostream, or Album. My iPad, which is Safari, has default profile picture with a different header picture. It has nothing in the Camera Roll or album. It does have most in the Photostream. Then my iPhone(which I loaded all pictures from as they were already on the phone) has the default profile picture & same header as iPad. It has all pictures in the Camera Roll & Photostream. The Album has 1 picture(I may not have loaded them on there right...still tinkering a bit). Why does it not look the same on each device though? I'm going through a bit of this myself. Right now, I have them as parking spots(the studded area of roadplates). I had the Modulars sidewalk area connect to the studded area on the roadplates as well. I really did like it as it looked cleaner, but it was a bit of a pain-primarily with corner buildings as it would mess up the alignment of the baseplates. To me, it seems parking spots are the best & easiest route to take.

I was just looking into this. It seems though that the pattern has been interrupted by 10246 Detective's Office, where we previously had 10197 Fire Brigade & 10224 Town Hall- gov't buildings. Not to mention 10251 Brick Bank has as well... I think that pattern may have gotten abandoned. -

I think what I'd do, assuming I don't ever have kids, is make a list of the more valuable ones, both sets & minifigs, to be sold. While the rest would go to a children's wing of a hospital.

I can definitely relate. Things have been going quite bad in my life. But, no matter what state of mind I'm in, he minute I walk into my room & see my town layout, it all goes away, however momentary it might be. And yes, building is a great distraction.

FINALLY made that call & ordered 10251 Brick Bank Yesterday from a second hand store, more tiles(got a large section of sidewalk done) and a CMF Painter.

My biggest gripe with the roadplates are the lack of a 90 degree turn. I really don't like the curve plates because its harder to add sidewalks to the angled part. That is very cool. I would like to do that someday as it definitely makes for a more believable street.

I just checked a a gun of mine...where was the four? The only markings on mine were the LEGO logo inside the stud, a C inside a circle & a 21 on either side of the trigger. Edit...just checked a different gun and it has a different number.

Gotta agree. That trans red blaster...could be an awesome mistake for you. It could be like the red Vader helmet. The other bit is definitely a bummer. Fortunately, TLG is the best costume service in the business. I may have to go get this set sooner rather than later now. Fingers crossed for a blaster.

I loved it. I quite enjoyed the fight scenes. I was grinning from ear to ear during the Bats/Supes ones. That entrance by Wonder Woman(and the accompanying music) was fantastic! I loved Eisenberg's portrayal, it really showed his brilliance & craziness. Bats & Wonder Woman definitely stole the show for me. Excited for her solo movie more so now. Affleck & Gadot were great portrayals.

CMF's Detective & Lumberjack Some more tiles & other odds & ends. I did find a 1x4 green street sign tile, VARICK ST., I take it it's a designer...anyone know which set it came in? I don't recall street signs in any set.

Morning Star Third book in the Red Rising series. I highly recommend the series. At its base, its your usual revenge for a death plot, but the story that envelopes it is fantastic.

Any idea how long the minifig clocks' shelf life is? My friend is a huge Supes fan & his birthday is August. Contemplating if I should get it now or later.
