Yeah...big let down here. The only redeeming factors are the Ion cannon & shield generator. The new prints are nice as well...but not for $250... Bummer.

Regression. Really great story. Very interesting. Deadpool, fantastic, of course. Hilarious, great action. It was pretty disturbing seeing teenagers(girls...MAYBE 14 years old...)walk in though...especially while watching the movie. It was behind inappropriate for teenagers.

So, was there an after credits scene along with the mid one? My friend didn't want to stick around through them. Going to see it again Tuesday.

The few friends I see on a regular basis know. One of them, like a lot of people who aren't really aware of what LEGO is today, thinks its strange. Athough, I'm not entirely sure if he's just messing with me, or because of his conceptions of what LEGO is. One friend understands, as he's a toy collector, of a different sort. None of them, unfortunately for me , has bought any for me as gifts.

I'm curious to this 'more acceptable price'...are you in the US, for starters, if so...where?! I want that set so bad, but that price...the money just isn't all there right now. I finally got my hands on 30201 Ghost to add to 10228 Haunted House.

The entire saga has been about family, we just weren't aware of it at times. We saw a kiss between Leia & Luke to spark jealousy in Han...turns out she kissed her brother. They were siblings even when we didn't know it. You're nitpicking though, with the latter part. The Boba Fett/Rouge One movies are spin offs. Spin offs veer from the main story, that's the point. The main story of SW-Ep. I-VII- revolve around the Skywalkers.

I'd have to rewatch the trailer(which one would that be?), but I doubt they'd give that away in a trailer. I mean, to those who read comics know it's a possible outcome, but that would be bigger thn showing Doomsday in the trailers. They wouldn't give away such a huge happening in a trailer...unless he says it & we don't know the context attached.

I want to get a few opinions. The current spot where my comics are is getting overrun. I'm considering putting them in the sun room, but the windows as screens, not glass. But, living in California, we don't have the extremes. Early morning's get in the 20's, then we have a few low 100's in summer. Comics are bagged & boarded & in comic boxes. I plan on putting them on pallets or some such to keep them off the floor & cover them with a blanket or something. I suppose they'd just fine out there, yeah?

That DC special last night was fantastic. It did its job & has me so hyped for both BvS & Suicide Squad. I do hope, given the omission of Deathstroke, that he has a solo movie coming soon. Fingers crossed.

The Revenant. Wasn't really a fan. It was a good movie & all, but far too long & far too slow. They could've cut half an hour or so of him wandering & still told the story just fine. That whole scene with the bear was crazy. His survival was also a bit much for me to take, given the time period & lack of care.

Rey's Luke's daughter. The evidence is pretty clear. She was drawn to his lightsaber on Takadona. It reacted to her, which is where I think her Force power was wakened. Then, in the fight, while Kylo was attempting to call the saber to him, Rey was subconsciously doing so as well. It came to her because of the bond. And the final nail in the coffin, when they met. You could see it in both of their faces. Now, the mind wipe is an interesting theory. It would explain quite a bit. As we see, she doesn't necessarily believe in the Force-as she was shocked to hear its real-, but thought it was myth. But, it would explain how she picked up on using(and seemingly mastering) the Force so quickly. Hmm...man, that's a good one to think on! Then, as for why Luke left her, presumably on Jakku, could be because he felt unfit to raise her. After the younglings at his new Jedi Academy were slaughtered by one of his students, family no less, he felt like he couldn't do it. As for the isolation....taking a page out of Yoda's book, perhaps? People knew Yoda was on Dagobah, just as BB-8 & R2-D2 knew where Luke was, the means to know...anyways.

If you haven't read Battle of the Atom from a couple years ago, that would be a good pick up. Age of Ultron one from about the same time was as well. I really enjoyed the Infinity story myself. Did you read the Infinity Heist & Hunt series' too?

Re-reading The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey in anticipation for the movie. It's a nice different take, of sorts, on the alien invasion stories. A real page turner that is hard to put down. It revolves around a girl trying to regroup with her brother & all that it entails. Twists & turns, a great story.

Oh man, Oky, fantastic shots. I wasn't really concerned with getting the pieces to fix the neck, but after seeing those photos, I may have to reconsider.

I have 5002125 Electro. But, as there's quite the price difference between the two, I'll throw in Alien Conquest 30141 Jet Pack & Kingdoms 30062 Target Practice. Edit: I'll throw a 5000202 Elrond in the mix, see if that does anything.

That is a sad sight... -
I used to, until I hit the 300 sets mark, then it just became too much. Like most, I keep the Ideas boxes as they're a bit more special than regular ones. I also kept the old Ninja & Forestmen boxes that I purchased again a few years ago.

I don't get all the complaints about the story...that's a pretty basic action movie template. I saw a picture years ago that compared Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, & Harry Potter. All had very similar plot points. I didn't even realize the Ep. IV notes until I read it here. It felt very nostalgic to me, not retreading.

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
Vindicare replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
Man, loving the new figs were getting next year! Thanos! I like the Ant-Man build, it's cool to get two alternate sizes. A few new armors. Those micro car things are pretty fun looking too, those faces are hilarious! -
Tee-hee. This is probably the bigger problem. Then again, that's why we have moderators, if they deem it rude, that's the way it goes. But, with Licensed topics especially, LotR, Marvel, & DC moreover, is there are a lot of fans who are very passionate about the subject, so it's to be expected that a thread about the sets will lead to movie(s) talk. We all know the movie discussion thread is there, but in the moment the thought hits you just want to get your thoughts out then & there. I understand the need to keep threads tidy & well organized, as when you see a few or more new posts in the speculation threads hoping the newest bit of news only to have it being about the movies is a bit of a bummer. I suppose just keep doing it the way you're doing it, because no matter how you do things or how much you change-advised or otherwise- there will always be critics. Even those special few who find problems even when none exist.
