  1. Hello community! Some of you may remember, the others don’t, but some years ago I actually ran a LEGO CUUSOO project that proposed to create a line of micro ships from your favorite game FTL: Faster Than Light. Despite having a huge following and even some articles on the media, and reaching the ultimate goal of 10.000 followers, the Lego Group did not pick the project for their LEGO Ideas set. I have promised myself that one day I will make the instructions available for the fans, and laid low for too long. But wait no more! I have put the PDF instructions for the micro ships from FTL: Faster Than Light on Gumroad! You heard that right, this is not a drill! The instructions are released in two forms: individually and in bundles! The three FTL Bundles cost 9$ and include a set of instructions for FTL ships plus a FREE instruction of game’s mascot ship The Kestrel! The one MEGA Bundle costs 22$ and includes all available FTL ship instructions AND A FREE instruction of The Kestrel! And finally, each PDF instruction is also sold separately for 5$. !Check out my Gumroad profile to see what’s available! But wait, there’s more! To provide an example of an instruction, and for the sake of self-advertisement, here’s an absolutely free of charge PDF Instruction with The Kestrel and a SUPER BONUS in form of an instruction of SSV Normandy from Mass Effect franchise: >>>CLICK HERE<<< Awesome! Now, a couple of disclaimers, just to be sure we’re on one page. 1. I do not own FTL Faster Than Light. It’s a game made by Subset Games aka Matthew Davis and Justin Ma, and y'all should know that, we're on their forums. The instructions are sold with their approval. 2. These are digital goods, which means there are no piece packages. Those are PDF files that show you how to assemble those micro ships with the pieces available, plus brick lists so you could easily buy what you need. 3. The choice of instructions included in the bundles is not random. With the help of Glen Bricker and polls he made during the CUUSOO campaign we’ve paired them up, so there’s that. Don’t request new bundles or ask to remake the existing ones. 4. Yes, the Kestrel is in every bundle. It’s free, so why not, right? 5. If you want me to make something that you like, go and check my Commissions info post. And now, shout-outs! Shout-out to Subset Games for making an awesome game that inspired me to make this all possible! Shout-out to Glen Bricker, who supported me through all the hardships of doing the CUUSOO project and beyond that. Go, check out and support his current project Brickyt! Shout-out to Stefan “Sastrei” Garcia for creating those amazing instructions! Go check out his Homeworld conversions! Shout-out to all of you who followed and supported LEGO FTL project on CUUSOO, and to those of you who over the years found me and told me that you are still waiting for the instructions to happen! Here’s to you, FTL and LEGO fans! And a little shout-out to my first customer artiestroke from Tumblr. You’re the MVP Roxy. :3

    [LDD/Render] General Sargas Ruk

Ruk by The Mugbearer, on Flickr General Sargas Ruk is the final boss of the Saturn system. The head of one of the Grineer Artifact extraction projects, Sargas Ruk was targeted by the Lotus for annexing Tenno-controlled dig sites. Ruk enjoys Grineer augmentation, even going as far as replacing the lower part of his arm with a flamethrower and replacing his normal vision with a single augmentation in the center of his helmet. [LDD/Render] Oxidized Monk

Oxidized Monk by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Lore: This granddaddy has seen a lot in it's long life. There are still living witnesses on Fostral who saw it triumph in the big race from Incubator. They mopped the floor with those four boneheaded quizzers Zeexen on their right-on dragsters, and copped guns from them worth wads of beebs. Fortune lives in this machine. Creator's comments: So this is mechos, a fantastic vehicle from an old game Vangers made by Russian studio K-D Lab. So much memories... It's now available on Steam! If you brave enough, go and get it! And good luck on the roads of the Lost Chain. Also, the render took me 30+ hours. Reference image: Click

    [LDD/Render] Sledgeshot

Sledgeshot by yigitkoroglu by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Sledgeshot is an all-terrain scouting vehicle with ability to transform it's front legs into sleds for better speed in snowy regions where this machine is used the most. The original design belongs to yigitkoroglu from DeviantArt and I post this model with his permission and his logo built with bricks. You can find Sledgeshot's concept art here: http://yigitkoroglu....eshot-404878544 Don't forget to pay him a visit and check out his works for if it wasn't him, I wasn't able to construct this model. He gave me a great deal of inspiration.

    [LDD/Render] Hard Truck Apocalypse

Okay, so what the heck exactly the Hard Truck Apocalypse? Well, it's a videogame. A Russian videogame. Brought by Targem Studios, here in my country it was known as Ex Machina, but you guys probably know it as Hard Truck Apocalypse. And honestly, I like that name better. No reason to be mysterious. So HTA is about you being a post-apocalyptic truck driver and gives you a reasonable amount of a pseudo open-world to explore. To do so, you need to have a truck, and that's where HTA shines. It has five classes of trucks with a great amount of cabins and cargo holds to install, plus a wide variety of weapons. I love HTA for it's atmosphere and it's trucks. And I want to share my love with you by presenting to you these MOCs. Van Hard Truck Apocalypse - Van by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Van is a starter truck that is a gift to main protagonist from his father. This default Van configuration contains a simple cargo bay and Hornet-class machine gun mounted on the cabin. Reference Image Lorry Hard Truck Apocalypse - Lorry by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Lorry is a reliable truck that features high suspension and 4x4 drive. Although it's vastly used by traders, Lorry is still not really that well-equipped for lone trips and requires protection. The default Lorry configuration includes a basic cabin and cargo hold with a weapon mount. The weapon equipped is a general-purpose machine gun based on Russian PKT. Reference Image Ural Hard Truck Apocalypse - Ural by The Mugbearer, on Flickr You know that when you sit behind the steering wheel of this monster, things just got far more serious. Those who succeed, choose Ural for balance of it's carrying capacity and weapon customization. Big enough to get off-road if needed, Ural is the best choice for a post-apocalyptic trucker. This is the default and most common configuration of Ural, featuring a standard weapon mount on the hood and a medium weapon mount on the cargo hold. Featured weapons - a general-purpose machine gun based on Russian PKT (hood) and four-barreled heavy machine gun based on KPVT (body). Reference image Comments and critiques are always welcome, safe road to you, and play well!

    [LDD MOC/Wallpaper] The Jackal

Warframe Lego Jackal Wallpaper 1366x768 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr In attempt to exert power and authority The Corpus recently introduced the most the most dangerous security proxy yet. Nicknamed the 'Jackal', this is the same deadly quadro-bot which has become extremely problematic for Tenno in the field. Jackal is the final boss of the Venus system. It can be found on the mission Fossa. The Jackal is a massive four-legged mechanical beast with yellow-green armor plating (in my version it's yellow). Jackal armed with two heavy machine guns and grenade launchers capable of taking off a squad of Tenno in one blow.
  7. Okay, here's something I've been working for a few weeks ago. I am really big fan of Hero Factory 1.0 designs. More over, I never considered the new Ultrabuild system aesthetically good, although it was my dream to combine Ultrabuild poseability and 1.0 design. I don't think I am the only one here, and it is really good to know. Also my LDD models are always were kinda realistic - I am certain that about 70% of my models will be really solid and sturdy in real. So my other goal while making those custom bodies was to create something that I can build in real life someday. Hero Factory Reloaded - full custom body by The Mugbearer, on Flickr There they are, my custom Heroes. The left one is for female characters like Natalie Breez and the left one is for male. The legs and body are compatible with v1.0 armor (the photo represents only legs because the model was made a few years ago). As you can see, the frame is quite poseable. Also, it's pretty easy to modify. The main feature of the frame is something that adds more lore basis: a Quaza Core right under the Hero Core. Stormer 1.7 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Ah, Preston Stormer. He was the first one to get the new body. It was mostly because I found his helmet after latest LDD update and was really glad. I've added a Bionicle Stars foot and think that it fits well here. Breez 1.7 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Natalie Breez was first Hero I made with female body. Bulk 1.7 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Duncan Bulk with new body that is covered with armor. Laser minigun was inspired by X-Com: Enemy Unknown. Rocka 1.7 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Daniel Rocka ready to drop the hammer! Furno 1.7 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr It was always with my Furno models that I add a weapon holder on his back. I like it that way. Evo 1.7 by The Mugbearer, on FlickrI already made more, but will upload them later. Surge 1.7 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Nex 1.7 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Stringer 1.7 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr C&C are much appreciated, as always. Get the file of the frame.

    [LDD MOC] ChiMechs

This is a small project of mine that is now complete because of limited number of Speedorz frames available in LDD (a least for now). I am a big fan of Mecha. And I like Chima pretty much alot, that's why I even had this idea in the first place. So I was thinking 'what if I will take a Speedor frame and make with it a Gunmen-ish Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann-style Mecha? I think that would be awesome!' How awesome it is you can judge for yourself. =) Let us pretend that In the magical world of Chima where animal tribes struggle for possession of a precious Chi orbs, the great Mount Cavora suddenly shuddered. And as it did so, it threw out a number of enormous, never seen before Chi orbs, that were scattered across all the Chima, too powerful to use them on their own, too dangerous to be left alone. And King of Croc Tribe, Cragger, was the first to find a use to them by building a first ChiMech: a towering, brutal machine of destruction, that could compete even with Gorillas' Mechs. After defeat against Cragges's ChiMech, Gorzan, the mightiest of Gorilla tribe's warriors, has met with his friend Laval, a prince of Lions, and brought the grim news. ChiMech - Croc by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Laval decided to make a stealth sally in the territory of Crocs to find out what gave Cragger such power. Together with Gorzan and Eris they snuck into Crocs' fortess and found the ChiMech. While passing by throne chamber, Eris overheard Cragger bragging to Razar and Worriz about his discovery of Chi Core, the biggest Chi orb ever emerged from Mount Cavora. She also discovered that Crocs already sent out the scouts to find other locations where Chi Cores landed, and hurried to tell Laval and Gorzan who were sniffing around the hanger, but Worriz has scented her presence and caught her. But he never told Cragger and ordered his wolves to deliver the eagle to their camp. Laval and Gorzan never discovered her disappearance until they've been spotted by croc guards and was forced to leave. ChiMech - Croc Cockpit by The Mugbearer, on Flickr In the Wolves camp Eris discovered that Worriz secretly envied Cragger's success and sent out his own scouts to find at least one ChiCore, while his best mechanics were reverse-engineering Cragger's ChiMech by blueprints that they managed to copy while Cragger was so busy bragging. Eris decided that as much as she'd hate to steal, she must take those prints and deliver them to Lagravis. Razar has happened to visit Worriz's camp after visiting the Cragger's fortress and made a deal that she'd give away a first Chi Core they will find to Ravens if Razar will help her to escape and steal the blueprints. The two made a cunning and daring escape from Wolfs' camp but not before Worriz's mechanics finished to build their own ChiMech. ChiMech - Wolf by The Mugbearer, on Flickr While it was not as intimidating as Cragger's, it possessed outstanding agility. After parting with Razar, Eris made her way to Lion Temple and gave the blueprints to Lagravis. She discovered that after their escape from Croc Fortress, Laval and Gorzan wandered to the Temple and warned Lagravis about Craggers ominous invention. Lagravis ordered Longtooth and Leonidas to find the closest Chi Core and bring it back asap. Meanwhile, Laval let Gorzan go back to the forest to protect his tribe. Left alone, young lion spent alot of time planning how to find Eris and worrying about her safety. To his relief, Eris appeared at the Temple's gate at dawn, tired but happy. She gave the blueprint to Lagravis personally and went to have some sleep. ChiMech - Wolf Cockpit by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Back after Eris's escape, Worriz, while being angered by this event, has his Chi Core installed and so departed from the camp to meet with Cragger and tell him that he now has a ChiMech too. Cragger was furious and at first even engaged in a fight to destroy Worriz's Mech but suddenly changed his mind. He decided that he will just let Worriz to go first and 'accidentally' will shoot at his back where Chi Core was installed under an armor plate. Worriz told nothing about Eris's escape to not cause further anger from Cragger. They rallied their warriors and marched out on the Lion Temple. Combined forces of Wolves and Crocs has arrived by the noon... and was really surprised to discover that Lion Gates were now guarded by a ChiMech designed by the Lions! ChiMech - Lion by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Laval was piloting the Mech and he proclaimed that Cragger will never reach the Chi Cores anymore and that he will protect it even with his own life. Since Cragger still was pretty sure about who sent his parents to that Gorge, he was okay if Laval - or any number of Lions - will fall on his, Craggers, way to rule all the Chima. He ordered his forces to attack the Temple. ChiMech - Lion Cockpit by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Since Laval was equipped with a spear and an impenetrable shield, he could repel any ranged attack, even from Cragger's ChiMech deadly cannons. But once Worriz has reached him, Laval felt all the sharpness of Wolf ChiMech's claws. Furious strikes made Laval to back off, step by step, until he has reached the closed gates. And that's when Cragger decided that it's a good opportunity to kill two rabbits with one stone and opened fire at Worriz's ChiMech back. However, armor was strong enough to endure all the shots, although sudden back-stabbing attack allowed Laval to kick Worriz off the Temple's stairs. Worriz, though infuriated, decided to retreat, but suddently a volley of rockets has covered the battlefield, leaving havoc among Crocs' and Wolves' lines. ChiMech - Eagle Diving by The Mugbearer, on Flickr A majestic shadow has screened the sun, and a white and blue lightning swooped across the battlefield. Lions rejoiced, for Eris, who managed to reach her people and give them the blueprint, piloted the brand-new Eagle ChiMech that brought the balance and tilted the scales in their favor. Eris changed her flight mode on the fly, hovering near the Laval's ChiMech, ready to unleash another salvo at the Crocs heads. Feeling that this is good time to disappear, Worriz commanded retreat and Wolves left Cragger and his goons alone on the smoking field. The battle was won. ChiMech - Eagle Hovering Mode by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Lagravis ordered everybody to immediately extract the ChiCores from their Mechs and never ever use them again. He found a place at the Temple where Cores could be kept in safety and in a few days every Chi Core that Mount Cavora produced have been found and brought to the Lion Temple. But Laval still felt uneasy: something told him that this isn't the last time he's seen Chi Cores, and the day will come when ChiMechs will be needed again. And he swore to be prepared and asked his father's permission to keep Lion and Eagle ChiMechs intact. Worriz and Cragger did the same without anyone's permission, but since the blueprint was destroyed - by Lagravis's orders, of course, nobody could make any more of those powerful and dangerous machines of war. ChiMech - Eagle Cockpit by The Mugbearer, on Flickr One day Lion guards discovered that one of Chi Cores has disappeared, and found a black feather lying under empty pedestal... To be continued?..

    [LDD MOC] Furno Marine

If somebody actually remember, there was an actual MOC of mine with the same name. I honestly don't like the 'eternal remake' approach to MOCs (one of my friends has like tons of remakes of his character, and not only one), but I couldn't resist the urge to make an LDD version of Furno Marine. Furno Marine by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Such a pity that LDD palette does not have all the parts to fulfill my needs for that MOC, but I tried hard to keep the same aesthetics.

    [LDD MOCs] Mini-Slizer

From the depths of Space and Time comes greatest heroes ever known before Bionicle began! There's not much known about them, but Slizers (also known as Throwbots) won my heart from the first time I saw them in the catalogue. After all these years, when I no longer possess any of the original sets, I decided to give a new life to once beloved characters. These MOCs are not targeted for intense game therefore there is no cogs and throwing discs. But instead, it's a mixture of brick-built bodies and Hero Factory limbs, combined together to bring the ultimate line of action figures, inspired by long-lost Lego theme, to life! Behold! The Mini-Slizer! Let's start from original eight Slizers, main antagonists/protagonists of the theme, caught in endless struggle over Planet Slizer and it's seven regions and Dome City. Mini-Slizer - Torch by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Sturdy hunchback Torch roams his fiery region, looking for any fuel he can consume. He uses his disc throwing hand and twin flamethrower to repel attacks of furious Lava Elementals. Mini-Slizer - Scuba by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Scuba, the dweller of depth. He is riding torrents and streams in search for precious pearls. His diving suit and harpoon gun allows Scuba to easily avoid encounters with giant brain jellyfishes and other horrible monsters of water region. Mini-Slizer - Ice by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Ice lives in an eternal movement, always descending from higher peaks of ice region on his trusty skis. Although his skiing pole is not the most intimidating weapon, he rarely get himself in a fight, preferring fast and daring escapes. Mini-Slizer - Turbo Car by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Turbo, the city Slizer. Likes speed more than anything, that's probably why he's in good relationship with his neighbor Ice. If not for limited supplies of fuel, Turbo would race with monster trucks and wind forever. Mini-Slizer - Turbo Robot by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Turbo also can transform himself into a bipedal form to communicate better with his teammates, but he prefers his car form over this one. Mini-Slizer - Judge by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Judge (aka Jet) is cunning and ominous adversary. He uses double throwing arms and twin rotor propellers to patrol Dome City from air, searching for tresspassers. Mini-Slizer - Amazon by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Amazon, the feral Jungle Slizer, is renown hunter, fearless and cold-blooded. He uses his katana both for cutting agressive treants in the swamps of jungle region and for cutting enemy limbs. Mini-Slizer - Electro by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Electro is more of an insect than a complete sentient Slizer, but it doesn't mean that he cannot outwit and electrify his prey. He feels better in the streams of Energy, constantly furrowing his region. Mini-Slizer - Granite by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Granite is a crafty miner. He cannot stop digging, given that it's his only true passion. He even has small drills on his legs for more digging. But at beginning of another millennium, out of nowhere appeared a giant asteroid that smashed into a Slizer Planet, destroying Energy, Jungle and Mountain regions. From the ashes rose horrible abominations, Mutants. Blinded by rage, they began their crusade on remaining Slizer. Mini-Slizer - Mutants - Flare 1 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Flare, the 'youngest' member of mutant team. Her actions determined not by her actual age, but by her dare-devil attitude. She always on the fly, enjoying diving on unaware enemy and snatching him by her sharp bird-like claws. Mini-Slizer - Mutants - Spark by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Spark is cold-blooded as Amazon and Electro combined together (probably, she really is merged from those two). She possesses an arm shield that she uses to reflect any incoming shots back to her foes. Mini-Slizer - Mutants - Blaster by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Blaster, unofficial leader of Mutants, biggest and baddest of them all. A towering brute, that can crush a Lava Element by flinging at it discs generated by his double throwing arm. Mini-Slizer - Millenium by The Mugbearer, on Flickr This Slizer do not know his past. Others know him as Millenium: a lone rider on the crushed roads of city region. Nobody have seen him without his abnormal bike. Scuba assumes that Millenium is not a Slizer, nor a Mutant, but something in between. He seem to struggle against transformation processes in his body, unwilling to become one of Blaster's gang, but he never officially opposed them in battle. That's pretty much all! I owe some special thanks to LewiTaur for inspiring me with his LDD Slizer MOCs. Copyrights time! Ah yes, forgot to mention. The models of Slizers (except for Mutants for now) are official character designs for Russian Project Slizer.

It can be found on the mission Psamathe. The Hyena resembles a smaller light blue Jackal. UES Contact Light

UES Contact Light side by The Mugbearer, on Flickr UES Contact Light is a space train, huge transporting vessel. It has crash landed on the unknown planet with only 10 survivors escaped on the huge drop pod. Escapees were forced to fight their way through hordes of different creatures, huge and small, and eventually found the remaining four cargo holds and tractor intact. Then surviors defeated a strange creature named Providence and left the planet. Most of them changed beyond recognition in the process. UES Contact Light Tractor by The Mugbearer, on Flickr This is how Contact Light looks like without all those cargo holds. Those four bits represent fuel tank (left), reactor core (right), lesser bay for special cargo and arsenal for weaponry (up), medbay and crew quarters (bottom).
