  1. Lovely tudor and woodwork here, and I'm digging the reflection on the black roof in the first picture! The trees and vegetation are great as well, and as Navarre mentioned, that cobblestone looks fantastic!
  2. @CaptainPolluxofOrion Yep, as Capt Wolf said that definitely fits the bill! Looking forward to seeing it finished, I'm really liking what you've got so far!
  3. Hey there! Yes, as long as it is large enough for a Class 2 that is totally fine! It is the size that mostly defines what class it fits into - for instance, the raft from this pirates set would be a Class 0, probably, but a more substantial raft could be a Class 1 or 2
  4. Welcome to the Brick Seas, @lmcpicture! Fantastic intro vignette (loving those curtains!) and great presentation with the picture in the background Looking forward to seeing what Killian and the Goodwill family turns to now!
  5. Those story shorts are wonderfully lit, Ex! Excellent work with the landscaping and rockwork - the arch is fantastic, and the color combinations are perfectly realistic-looking while being very Nocty and not quite real too The pebbly shore and water are great as well, but the longship really steals the show for me! The curves are amazing, and I'm loving the white and the hint of tan to go with that tattered sail. The blues give it just that touch of frigid Frozen-Beyond-ness to it too - awesome job all around! And we finally know what was really up with the Algus now... Thanks to Mitgardia for saving the world again!! Great story-writing too, mate!
  6. Very nice work, Faladrin, love all those swinging bridges and the watchtower and shipwreck, and as I commented on the Professor's build, that Gloucester Gloubster is wonderful! Great entry, and great to see some piratey activity going on!
  7. This is so ridiculously hilarious, just as we've come to expect from you, Professor! The Gloubster itself is really well built, but those carrots are what really got me! Great job, and always awesome to see fun collaborations between the players here!
  8. I didn't comment on this before?? Lovely work, mate - the flying buttresses and roof are honestly some of the best I believe I've ever seen in LEGO (those hooded/caped statues are soo awesome!), and the massive windows and interior are very well done too. But then you dive underneath into the crypt and it's hard not to be even more impressed! Excellent story (so much Olean intrigue!) besides definitely is going to make this a very tough entry to beat! Great job, mate!
  9. Yes and no - that is, (at least one of) your faction leaders should be able to edit/keep up-to-date a settlement thread started by you or somebody else if you're unable to take care of it yourself (like in the case of players who have left over time). And if they're really busy or have disappeared feel free to shoot me with what you need done and I'd be happy to help you out! Unfortunately since this is real magic it isn't transferable though (to the best of my knowledge ), so I don't think it's possible to change the permissions on a thread to allow a different member who hasn't got all our magical capacities to edit/update a specific post started by someone else. That's a very good idea to help streamline things like settlement threads, but unfortunately it's not in the capacities of the site right now (in my knowledge). But that is what each faction's leaders are for! And like I said, if you've got something specific in mind there's almost always one leader or another around so feel free to contact us and we'll do our best to help you!

    Ill Omens (Valyrio 2B)

Alright, I admit it - you've got me hooked. Now you'd better give us more!! Or I will personally see to it that all your characters are wiped off the mat before I swipe the blood off and resheath the de Fiori dagger! Excellent return to the guild, mate - very nice scene (great work with the somewhat unusual stone-work and the sunset!), and I can't wait to see what awaits the judge in Leifric's Hollow!
  11. I love how this just keeps expanding, and how it keeps getting better with every addition! Keeping it clean and uncluttered with such a massive layout is not easy to achieve, but you've made it look so effortless. That crane and cohesive architecture is great, and those roofs are gorgeous as always!

[SR - Ch IV - Cat. B] A little help

Really nice micro-scaling, Professor! That window is great (not sure I'd seen the turn-table within the arches before - definitely something to remember!) and the buildings and sewer area are quite well done too

Guilds of Historica New Member Guide

Hey what? The only thing that bites in Varylrio is steel, cold steel. (Which is also kinda rough, I'll admit But better than rogue pumpkin pies any day!) But if you just want hugs, than Avalonia is definitely the place for you. From trees.
  14. This definitely deserves more attention! - excellent job on the hull and masterful rigging, mate! As one of the things that are always lacking on my vessels, I'm impressed with the amount of crew you've pretty comfortably got in there too, and the prow is quite well done too, but the cabin section has got to be my favorite part of this - very clean! An excellent job overall
  15. I know I'm a bit late, but I can't say how much I love builds like this! Brilliant idea for a build and great execution - that silhouette is fantastic (the white filling in the canvas is just as impressive as the silhouette itself too), and it's so amazing to get a glimpse into some of the almost totally forgotten details of life in the age of sail in BoBS here. The vignette presentation is a great move too, haha!

[OL - FB] Lavalette Mint Royale

Fantastic job, guys! - great work portraying all that's involved in the minting process, from planning to smelting (gotta call out that one!) to inspection, and I'm loving the red roofs across the whole scheme! As Khorne mentioned, the microscale first build really helps to picture the whole layout, and the details throughout are very fun to look over and discover. Congrats, you all!

    CDC1 Tower: Autumn Watchtower

That yellow is so beautiful The trees and color-scheme are fantastic (I can't quite get over how gorgeously the yellow in the landscape works!), and the tower is a superb combination of clean and texture, and a perfect example of why Mitgardia is the best Really well done!
  19. Nocty at it's best, as we've come to expect from you, mate! Loving your unusual color choices, and the tan decorative work throughout pulls it all together and makes it very cohesive at the same time. The curved section in front is quite delightful and eye-catching, and your landscape and those spiky balls are incredible and instantly dispel any doubt about where this tower is! Kudos on getting a nice interior in there all the way up too!

CDC1 Tale: The Hiding of the Druid Shrine

Late to the party, but this definitely deserves a bump! There are some beautiful colors gorgeously tied together here, Henjin - the flowering trees and shaded rocks framing the lighter rocks and the epic blue water and waterfall really make this come together soo well. The man-made elements - boat, wizard, bridge (shrine? ) - along with the mysterious yellow-ish tint in the waterfall takes this from the natural to the magical, and the huge rock formations behind are just superb. If I had any nitpicks it'd be that my eye kind of wants some tiles (or round tiles?) in the waterfall - I think there may be some cheese in there(?), but a little more variety would probably help with that unpredictable, chaotic falling water that waterfalls are about. Otherwise I just love this though! - it's been on my bucket-list for a long time to try my hand at some of these giant rock formations, and you've shown here again just why they look so great! Fantastic work.

    VOTING topic CDC1 Tower

Oof, that's a really hard choice - lots of excellent towers here and it's not easy to narrow it down between the top contenders! I can't have like four votes? 1 point for Ayrlego 1 point for Exetrius

    CDC1 Tower: The Last Eye

Gorgeous combination of snow and those tans, mate - beautiful layout and awesome techniques on the tower! Like some of the others said, the studs-out sections was definitely a bold move, but it turned out really well, and the roofs and flags are excellent as well, all covered in snow. Awesome story too, as always! - that's one bold crazy Norseman! Very well done!

[GoC] Class 4 Xebec - Dirty Rat

That is a gorgeous xebec, mate! Beautiful work with the curves on the hull, and the raked masts and rigging are fantastic as well. The deck looks superb from what I can see of it too, and even if they are Corry's colors, the hints of red and gold along with the flag really give this that indescribable pop of color that sets it over the top. Amazing stuff, mate!

[COR - CHIV - CAT C] Westface Market

Really nice build, mate! The minifigure activity is awesome, and there are some great details here, like that flag awning and the use of the jib sail. I spy some fantastic custom torsos too - Sir Brickford's and the fish seller's are really sweet! Are they stickered, or did you get them printed somewhere (if they're stickers they look incredibly good!)?
