I love how you’ve fit the galley from the Imperial Flagship in the stern of the POBB ship.

This looks promising, can’t wait to see more.

This sucks. Shame on the hackers as the people they’re hurting right now are Mom and Pop store that sold through Bricklink and hobbyists who not only purchased through the website, but if anything like me, also used tithe website for research. Who ever the hackers are they’re financially motivated, rather than politically driven, because as I’ve already stated the people who are being hurt the most out of this are little guys.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Pirate_King_1982 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I wanted to buy some of these. Are they plans that you buy like on Rebrickable? Originally I though the were kits that provided all the parts, but buying the plans is far more appealing as it means you can pick up parts over time meaning less up front and also make part substitutes as you see fit. Do they ever plan on making these available to Australians? What regions actually are allowed to buy these? -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Pirate_King_1982 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Saw this on my daily trawl through Rebrickable https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-162743/Brick Artisan/souvenirs-tours-compatible-with-set-10326/#details . I’m keen on building this annex when I get around to building the museum. With regard to the actual modular the only things I’ll change would be to tile the second floor and add some more exhibits to what’s already on show. Also I think I’ll be adding the janitor CMF to the set. -

Thanks I appreciate that. It’s not too bad of a GWP, although something looks a little “off” about it to me. -

I’ve tried finding pictures of this alleged hotdog truck on Insta to no avail. Could someone more tech savvy repost the picture here? I know I would be very appreciative. -
MOC series (or a theme) - Offroad adventure trucks, trailers and home base
Pirate_King_1982 replied to P6tu's topic in LEGO Town
These MOC’s are perfect. They could very easily all belong to an official LEGO sub theme. Do you plan on making plans for these vehicles on Rebrickable. I’d buy plans for sure, I’d really love to make some of these vehicles bright light orange to use in Jungle Explorer dioramas. -
[OFFICIAL] LEGO 40597 Scary Pirate Island - Gift With Purchase - UPDATED October 4
Pirate_King_1982 replied to F1stzz's topic in LEGO Pirates
I ordered some Black Falcon legs and torsos, some dark azure bicycle sign tiles for cycle paths in my city, as well as a few other parts for ongoing projects, and qualified for this and a Fun and Funky add on. The Fun and Funky pack will be going in my bits boxes after I take out a few pieces that I’ve got intended uses for, an extra two pigs for POBB for example. As for Scary Pirate Island, I plan on using the parts and following the design concept of the set to create an enlarge and more detailed UCS style model that have a similar footprint to SleeplessNight’s rendition of Sabre Island. I’ll be getting a few copies of the Pirates and Treasure add on pack from eBay and probably another couple of theseScary Pirate Island sets from eBay for the project. -
That is very nice Modular.I love it, keep up the great work. Kudos.

Hi all, I’m currently in the process of building up a small city that has to fit within the footprint of six baseplates x 4 baseplates, and I’m thinking that the Winter Village Tram may be a good way of having a train in my display, as a larger train would end up chasing its tail. Now assuming price isn’t a concern and I don’t mind chasing down parts on Bricklink, would it be feasible to build the tram around an ol 9v train motor and run it on the 9v tracks? I get that there are more modern parts and solutions, but I think that the battery box and receivers and such a look ugly in this particular model and I am.assuming that the 9v setup would use less space, allowing the top half of the tram and the interior to remain untouched. I’m just wondering erring whether anyone with experience in the 9v train range and/or the Winter Village Tram could offer any advice. Any assistance anyone can offer with this would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance, Dusty.

Hi all, sorry to add to an old post. I’m just wondering if anybody can confir whether the TrixBrix track pieces are plastic injection modded or 3d printed? -
2022 Winter Village Tram w 9v Train Motor?
Pirate_King_1982 replied to Pirate_King_1982's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Thanks for the info. Just out of curiosity, how much space is required between two separate tracks? Could I run an outer R40 track and an inner R32 track so I can have two trams travelling in opposite directions? I feel a little apprehensive about running them on R24 tracks but think R32 might not be as bad. However I’ll have reconsider using R32 along with R40 if both trams would constantly colliding and derailing each other and breaking pieces off. -

I assuming that these track pieces will allow for tighter curves and smaller diameter track loops? -

Yeah after a little investigation Circuit Cubes seem like they’re likely the route I’ll go. I’ll do some in depth research into them tomorrow and find out exactly which parts I’ll need. Thanks for assist guys, much appreciated. -

I prefer this to the Redcoat ship, but it’s not as good as the Clipper. The minifigs are excellent. I think it’s a shame these guys didn’t get more sets, lacking especially was a real base. Both the Bluecoats and Redcoats got a smaller ship than the Pirates, but a bigger base, but they shied away from this trend with the Grrencoats. However, this ship and Redbeard Runner were both very good, even though the rest of the range wasn’t that good by comparison.

A couple of great looking ships, it’s a shame that they aren’t assembled anymore. I especially like the small rRedcoat escort vessel for the flagship.

[ENTRY] Skulls Eye Schooner remake (6286)

I agree with others, the ship would looke better with green cannon flaps and better still if you changed out the dark red for red.- 37 replies

[CONTEST] Half-Way Review - LATEST UPDATES HERE! Anyone want more PRIZES and building categories?
Pirate_King_1982 replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I’d say maybe size/part count determined divisions so that smaller, simpler MOCs don’t have to compete with larger, more elaborate MOCs. The size of the prize could reflect which division it’s awarded to. Just my ten cents. -
