This is a basic building design that is going to be the headquarters for all my evil mini-figs. The building plans were ripped off from a building I saw online. I have plans to detail out a board room where Darth Vader will be heading up a death-star meeting. Some of the floors will be Stormtrooper office space cubicles. Other floors may just be funny sets I can throw together. Not sure how tall I want to go with this I know my Grand Emporium will top out at about ten stories, so I may go about 8 floors as this green building has much higher walls. So here are a few pictures/angles of the evil green building being built. Here is the back of the building

Here is the first floor, I'm going to move the back windows and center the columns. I may also have to remove the back door.

Yeah, at that point your GE was too big to be a corner building. I can't wait to get home and knock out the base floor. Thank you again for the pictures. Your city block is what 96x64?

Sweet, I like the one window idea. I also tinkered with the back of the building as I'm not going to do a wrap around.

Well, she won't be the monster you have in the attic, but she'll rep my city very well. Still going to shoot for ten floors. Here is the start of this craziness, I'll snap some pictures after I get the first floor squared away. Thanks for the link and helping my decision to go 64x48.

Hello, here is a modular moc of Emmet's dream house/rescue rocket (70831). I used three of set 70831 to complete both the dream house, and the rescue rocket. I'm about 98% done with this MOC, I'm waiting on a order to tile the floors and add a few little knick knacks. First, the rescue rocket is almost 100% stock; less the roof line detailing, rear fin, a couple of 1x1 rounds on the thrusters ,and brake lights (Safety first). Second, the dream house, the house shares almost all the same lines as the OEM house. The roof became taller and removable, to support uni-kitty's loft/attic area. Here are a few pictures of the dream house exterior. Note the Lego box in the background for size and shape variants. The standard modular pin layout is part of the fence and sandy yard, I just layered and made sand dunes to cover the 1x2 brick. Rear of the dream house. The bay windows have a yellow pinstripe, the attic window molding was raised with a yellow 1x2 brick with axle hole. Here is a picture with the roof removed, showing the attic area. Here is the removable attic/Uni-kitty area, just basic piping and boxes, Uni-kitty has a desk, lamp, flowering plant, "weapons" holder, bed, and a letter from Stark Industries!? This is a picture of the first floor of the dream house. Typical Emmet basic layout, and NO I didn't do a double decker couch. Everything is awesome record, Emmet's dead plant with correct leaves.... Bird's eye: Pictures of the whole thing in cross section.... So Modular? Of course.... Here is Emmet's Dream House! Right smack in the middle of Pepe's Pizza, and Dr Strange's pad. I hope you had fun, I'll do a MOC run through on the other two building later. Please comment... love it, hate it? I'm here to learn and get better at this silly stuff!! Thanks

Here is a little spin off of the 31039 three and one Lego jet. I figured Lego Batman, needed a kickass jet to cruise around in. Had a lot of fun with the engine compartment, and cockpit. The other jets are the OEM Lego 31039's. "I feel the need.....The need for speed!" Sorry too easy!

The movie doesn't really show case Emmet's Dream house that much. So this is just an expansion of the Lego set. Both the Emmet's Dream House, and the Rescue Rocket have little screen time. I built both the Rescue Rocket, and Sweet Mayhem's Starship, so that I can suspend them from the ceiling. I really enjoyed building Sweet Mayhem's systar starship. In some odd way Sweet Mayhem has this old school Metroid look to them.

Best I could throw together on short notice... Probably using the OEM Lego dream house would put on a better show.

I'll see what I can do for you when I get home...

Thanks for the help, still getting use to the site lingo.

Nice! I think 64x48 may work the best for me. I love that your build is the whole city block. are you doing any detail on the floors?

Totally was going for that look.

I have already PM'd Rick on moving the thread, and possibly renaming a hand full of topic titles as they are not correct. Thanks for the concern on the thread. It's a odd build as it's almost 100% Lego plans, but the color is different, so MOC/MOD?

So any opinions on going to a 48x48 baseplate for the Grand Emporium? I think I'm going to do 9 or 10 floors, so having the wider foundation may give her a more pronounced look. Here is a quick mockup of 9 floors tall. Thank you for your input. Sorry to double post, I was bored today so her number got pulled.
