[SR-FB] We need a bigger boat!
Roadmonkeytj replied to Roadmonkeytj's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thank you to both of you As far as the story... I needed something that sounded realistic as to why the rats would be obtaining a class 7 vessel lol -

Shipwrights Guild Hall (WIPs, feedback, and advice)
Roadmonkeytj replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
@LM71Blackbird I agree with Bart on these... The first I don't care for the sail under the bowsprit.... I feel like its too low and not fitting for the size of the ship. I do like the overall shape of the boat but the spanker I feel should start lower and go to its current height. The second the spanker again looks odd ... Bring it lower and shape it differently. I feel like the stay sail could be bigger or simply add a second a bit lower. The third is quite lovely shape and size and good use of the printed sail. All in all not bad for limited brick -

[COR-FB] Fort Totie in Jameston
Roadmonkeytj replied to Spud The Viking's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Very nice build indeed... Are the sloping wall secured or simply resting in position? The cannons fit well and many "small forts" did have shorter walls... Especially if on high ground -
Ooooohhhh pretttyyyy colors! Lol All joking aside those look like exceptional workmanship

Roadmonkeytj replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks all... Luckily I took the entire collection when I left (no simple task) unfortunately everything I had built was basically broken to some extent due to the poor packing of them in a hurry. Most of the collection is still in storage but safe. As far as other issues... She's trying to be as difficult as possible but our first court date when more in my favor than hers... My lawyer is quite good.- 2007 replies

Is Lego cheaper in the beautiful country of Chile? What was the reason for such a high custom fee? -

Roadmonkeytj replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
@Maxim I sorry to hear the delay but at least it's good reasons. As some may know I am going through a divorce so I had been away from bricks the past few months. I don't have the full collection but have a few tubs... One of them is my Bobs builds that were destroyed. I'm happy to announce my Trade convoy sails again. The rigging was destroyed and a tangled mess on Diablo Salado as the entire ship was badly broken up. Had to cut most of it... So I put Lego rigging back on it... Still need to make the sails for her but it's good to have them back.- 2007 replies

I really like how the simple elegance works ... I feel like a slight bit of decoration over the stern would have put this one over the top. Maybe a touch of flex tube or a few claws idk. -
