The Charlatan Bay Infernos' had practiced all year since last years cup in Trador. They little squad was quite good as well. On the day the team gathered for their team photo just happened to be the day disaster struck on the island. This is the last known photo of the team. We are currently unaware of their whereabouts but the town has paid the registration fees just in case they wash ashore in Bastion. . . . . . . . This just in! Somehow against all odds the team made it to Bastion and poses for a team photo. Ooc: my original plan was to have the team gathered on the five fleets monument but I ran into a delay in replicating the build so I had to improvise with what I had to make the deadline. So instead they are in front of it (never got all the ships built lol)

I gotta say I'm jealous of your proximity to these trains but I absolute love the fact you can photograph these with their prototypes congrats on fulfilling your dream great job on the build. You should talk the museum into a Lego museum display of their trains!- 14 replies

Permission granted sir build at will! I personally will build with this shape in mind in the future as well. Best part is this only took a matter of a few hours or so to whip up the fort Honestly I was playing around with "larger" micros before I came across this idea. I agree that micro is the way to build forts unless you have the bricks and space!- 13 replies

I absolutely love this just as much as I did the tea house I think my favorite part is how you included the koi in the water. Was that tricky or did you just build out of the bank with clear? Also how would the "quarter" tolerate an outsider builder in the settlement as I have plenty of paper screens from sets I bought for parts lol. And I love Japanese architecture -
I love the fact you included the wipers! Looks like the PFs is hidden well
-
This is a really impressive loco and consist good work looks great lit too!

It's truly a stunning model and I love it... I only have one complaint... It's too clean ... There needs to be more parts and pieces laying around every repair yard I've been to has a lot of "junk" about the place

@gedren_y You check the map with heat and lemon juice, special glasses or water the rocks for clues in national treasure... I await the third lol You check the map with the broken gem in PotC while unknowingly sailing with your father. -

I really like the look of this. I'm still trying with keeping the original intact and tearing it down for a more realistic model but I may still buy the set up for the gf's train as she wants to "keep it stock" -
MOC Tank engine locomotive - Knapsack style
Roadmonkeytj replied to Selander's topic in LEGO Train Tech
These are fine little engines and are immediately recognized... The open car load is really eye catching in fact I fell in love as I've offloaded a few cts and transformers from rail cars before. I pose the same question though it the m motor just for looks or if not how does it push the train? -

Thank you... Your welcome to borrow it. It was the third design.. The first looked more like modern artillery the second looked too big but this turned out well although I don't know if they ever made the night stick in black?- 13 replies

This is awesome observation room... It reminds me exactly of the scene out of "from hell" the Sergical kit is well done! Maybe that's left over from another class Execution 101 ... I believe it's an art class The motion has been second... All those in favor state by saying AYE Lol -
This is a nice one indeed. The exposed beams and the cliff work are impressive (not that the curved wall is not)

Shipwrights Guild Hall (WIPs, feedback, and advice)
Roadmonkeytj replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I use heavy embroidery thread that I spin into rope... It's roughly the thickness of Lego cord. I can make it thinner or thicker by using more or less loops on my rope machine. It takes about 10 min start to finish for a 6' finished "rope". So I found one... it's not the prettiest but I can work this by myself the weight and spinner hook hang over the back of a chair across the kitchen. As the rope becomes... Well rope the spinning hook travels closer to the rig. My cord is three foot. It does 6' rope just fine but I have to stop and move the weight for 12' If you google DIY rope machines theres some neat ones out there and after watching a few you will understand how to run them. Here's the dead eyes I made with this method: -
I really like this it's true to the pioneering structures might be a troublesome gate for wagons though lol.

It looks to be built out of what ever was at hand. It has alot of good details for such a "small" footprint. Well done sir
