SkaForHire Posted February 28, 2016 My congratulations to the winners! And I still can't believe Eslandola missed first place by such a small margin! Yes, that was crazy close. I can't wait until Challenge 2 now. It looks like we may have a rivalry going. Although, Oleon or Sea Rats might sneak up on us both!
SkaForHire Posted February 28, 2016 A couple last things: Factions can start to pick their new islands now. Corrington (2) goes first, then Eslandola (2), then Oleon, then the Sea Rats. Second, to help those of you out that are buying against their expected income, here is a list of how DBs will be awarded at the end of the month. There is also the tally and the prize DBs for each of the factions. They have already received this money on the scorecard. Puvel Posted February 28, 2016 Go Corries Congrats to all the winners! I remember Soccerkid6 offering to PM the comments of the judges after The Husbandry Challenge in GoH, would that be possible for this too? He pointed out some very good things and it really helped improving my builds.
Captain Dee Posted February 29, 2016 Congratulations not just to the winners but to everyone who participated! And a special thank-you to the judges (and my apologies for backing out on you... ) For the record, I was the undisputed unanimous runaway winner in the "nonexistent" category. Now I'm waiting for my nonexistent prize! This much participation was a great way to kick off the challenges. Here's to more good contests in the future! Elostirion Posted February 29, 2016 1. Thanks to everyone who participated - that was a great challenge with many, many really well done entries (though I'd argue that none have yet met the quality of the greatest Civil War Challenges over in GoH, but that will surely come here as well). 2. Thanks a lot to the judges who took their time to score all entries, please keep that up! I prefer this over public votings. 3. Congrats to all winners, well deserved Dubloons. 4. Thanks to the challenge for those Dubloons I got, that will be some nice licenses in Nova Terreli.

Bregir Posted March 1, 2016 I must be stupid - I was most definitely surprised at this choice...
Gideon Posted March 1, 2016 In character I must of course agree that any economic or military advantages are second to the importance of that an island where the Gods may have a strong presence doesn't fall into the hands of the infidels!
Bregir Posted March 1, 2016 Well, I see how that would make the choice seem rather obvious... Well, on the upside, I am not smart enough to realise how stupid I was not to see that...
Elostirion Posted March 1, 2016 You are rich, Bregir. That should do.

Bregir Posted March 2, 2016 You are rich, Bregir. That should do. You do raise a good point here. However, I shall await the latest MRCA results before I settle on that explanation ;) With two ship potentially sunk, and two more shares in the same position, I am not yet sitting comfortably in my chair! ;)
Maxim I Posted March 2, 2016 You do raise a good point here. However, I shall await the latest MRCA results before I settle on that explanation ;) With two ship potentially sunk, and two more shares in the same position, I am not yet sitting comfortably in my chair! ;) Two ships sunk? Did I missed sth :o
kaiju Posted March 2, 2016 Two ships sunk? Did I missed sth :o Potentially sunk. Given we lost most of the Sea Rat fleet in the first month, it's a fair concern.
