Gosh! That's not just a ship, that's a behemoth! Very well done. Are you thinking of making sails as well? It would take some time, but I think it would definitely improve the silhouette. -

Oh that would be a dream come true! When I joined this forum I had always dreamt of being featured on classic-pirates.com, probably my favorite website when I was about 10 I have lost most of my photo's, I do have some but they are unedited. The closest that you could use would be this one, which you can download from flickr: Link: https://flic.kr/p/rXKqpG One thing to keep in mind is that this was made 6 years ago, and as I'm nearing 21 it does not really reflect what I would probably have made in the present. I love the little jokes here and there. It has been a while since a lego stop motion has made me laugh out loud. Stunning graphics as well! Looks very convincing and -in style- as it were. The "Unsinkable II" has to be my favourite pun, though. Oh, and "Barrk, Barrkk". -

Hi all, Sorry to bump into this old topic, but for those interested I uploaded the film two years ago to Youtube. I had forgotten about this thread and I am not sure if I had already shared the brickfilm here (I am very inactive on this forum, I'm sad to say; there are so many beautiful ships and creations posted here regularly!). I was cleaning up my youtube channel and thought I'd share it with you all. So here it is, for those that haven't seen it yet! I was quite inexperienced when I made this, and I am not at all happy with how it's turned out, but for nostalgic reasons I decided to publish it anyway. Enjoy it for what it is; it was my first experience working with a green screen, and I thoroughly enjoyed the process. Kind regards and I hope you get to see me here more often! - Jisk -

Hi Eurobricks and swashbucklers. I haven't posted much of my own making in recent years, simply because well.. let's just say I'm a bit lazy. Sorry! Back in 2015-2016 when I was 15 -16 years old (I know, easy to remember) I started messing around a bit with a custom built ship and No. 6721 "Imperial Flagship" (which was one of the last second hand set I bought). It was also at that time I discovered the Aubrey-Maturin novels, and began devouring them in a way you don't expect from someone my age. I also found out a movie adaption was made, containing various elements from the novels. I watched it, and again, and again, and I became a bit obsessed with the story and historical accuracy. And I was (and still am) a lego fan. So 1+1 is 2, ey? I grabbed a green robe and tried recreating a scene! Thanks to a friend who helped me with final cut pro and my mother for sewing the sails, I am very glad I can present to you a movie I should've released three years ago! Here's something I had much fun working on, with vague images, laughable special effects and the occasional video thrown in. Please enjoy. I hope I inspire someone to make a perfect version of this. Finally, it's finished! I remember that old video you posted. Did that lego ideas ever really got off? We need a Flying Dutchman set really.

Oh how very delighted to see work from you again! I remember you back in the day making great mocs that were for its time outstanding (and still do look impressive). To see a built which is modern in a sense and very accurate to the real life counterpart from you, is a very nice surprise. Amazing how you managed to make such a convincing build out of a standard hull. Would be nice to see it with everything under the waterline. -

That would actually make for a good set to sell! I would buy it most definitely. I saw the Götheborg at the Amsterdam sail 2010, and this absolutely captures her likeness. Yes, this should be a set. -
Very nice smooth shape! Would almost beg you to make an actual 18th century ship out of it. Show us how you did that curvature on the vessel!

I couldn't find your channel and videos anymore (they were at the top when you searched "Lego Pirates") but all of the sudden I remembered your name and got on this profile.

Wow, your first MOC? It looks like a professional build. Very nice, well thought of. The rigging fits, the tops look great and the interiors are very smooth. I'm really surprised this is a first for you. Well done.
