Ambush by Arfelan, en Flickr This is a build for Brickscalibur for the Rogues and Outlaws category. It depicts some outlaw troops ready to strike a massive blow at the unsuspecting Lion column in the forest. Thanks for watching.
  2. Hi Eurobricks and swashbucklers. I haven't posted much of my own making in recent years, simply because well.. let's just say I'm a bit lazy. Sorry! Back in 2015-2016 when I was 15 -16 years old (I know, easy to remember) I started messing around a bit with a custom built ship and No. 6721 "Imperial Flagship" (which was one of the last second hand set I bought). It was also at that time I discovered the Aubrey-Maturin novels, and began devouring them in a way you don't expect from someone my age. I also found out a movie adaption was made, containing various elements from the novels. I watched it, and again, and again, and I became a bit obsessed with the story and historical accuracy. And I was (and still am) a lego fan. So 1+1 is 2, ey? I grabbed a green robe and tried recreating a scene! Thanks to a friend who helped me with final cut pro and my mother for sewing the sails, I am very glad I can present to you a movie I should've released three years ago! Here's something I had much fun working on, with vague images, laughable special effects and the occasional video thrown in. Please enjoy. I hope I inspire someone to make a perfect version of this. Kind regards, Captain Edward, or on youtube: Jiskpirate P.S. Be sure to check out my older animations on my channel, with some being reasonably successful, although not too good. For me, my channel is one big plaza of nostalgia.
  3. Hi everyone, Today I'm showing you my new little MOC, the Mini 42065 Tracked Racer. I was playing around with ideas of things to build with tracks, and then thought of making a mini 42065. So I quickly build a chassis, and then build a body off of it. There are some rare pieces, like the sprockets, rubber track pieces, and a MiniZip 9V cable. Everything else should be relatively simple to find for sale. I know the colors aren't lime, but they don't make the small panels on the front in that color. I also tried to add details of the real set, like the stripes and white with red sprockets. Anyway, here are some pictures of it: Normal View ^ Side ^ Back ^ Here is the underside shot, with the surprise M-Motor! You can drive it like the real set, but only forwards and backwards. ^ Here are all the cables I use to power it. It is pretty long, so you can follow it around and change direction with the PF Switch. ^ I'll be making it more stable soon, since it is a bit flimsy right now, and I'll post pictures, so stay tuned!
  4. My younger brother, age 11, built this for the LEGO Castle Contest. The contest was to build something to help the crown knights defend their gatehouse against the attacking dragon knights. So he built a fake sea serpent for the crown knights' moat that scares off the attacking dragon knights: He would appreciate any C&C

HMS Surprise - 24 gun frigate

[pid][/pid] 146A Link to a few bigger photos - click on the picture to enlarge image, sorry for poor quality The whole gallery (when public) http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=524177 Hi, I'd like to present my new frigate - HMS Surprise. She's of course based on the Master and Commander movie and Patrick's O'Brian books, but she isn't a replica. I only have a inspiration of real HMS Surprise (exactly HMS Rose). The ship isn't perfect but I think I make progress to my first frigate HMS Hispaniola. The ships are similar - I only change the colour scheme and generally improve the Surprise. I also done a new string rigging and I'm very pleased for it. It was the worst thing during the building and took the most of time. The sails are the same that in Hispaniola but I soak them in tea. At the end I want to credit Perfectionist, Bonaparte, Captain Greenhair and a few other builders from Eurobricks - they gave me lots of inspiration and ideas. Enjoy!
