Legonardo Posted November 21, 2014 To most, Finbar would appear to be one of the friendliest magic folk that lives in nocturnus. Thinking about how horrid the people of nocturnus are, that really doesn't say much, but he's generally a pretty good guy. Unlike his eldest brother Senneck, Finbar has taken to using his skills in magic for commercial purposes, he sells fireworks and a mysterious explosive powder on the black market. Good money, not so great when authorities are around. Oh wait, nocty has no authorities... CCC XII Small Misc Category Enjoy!
robuko Posted November 21, 2014 Worthy of your usual high standards LD, although it's an unusually regular shape . The colour use is exceptional, how can anything with a purple roof look so restrained? Lovely build.
Hammerstein NWC Posted November 21, 2014 Lovely colours! You are channelling Derfel! :) Nice backstory too! It's nice to see no combat builds done so interestingly!
Gunman Posted November 21, 2014 What a sweet house LD... lovely :)
Alfadas Posted November 21, 2014 Very nice house! Also, the ground looks nice!
Gideon Posted November 21, 2014 Very nice design, especially the shape of the roof! Am I glimpsing a net that the tiles are attached to...? Good luck in the CCC!
Lord Vladivus Posted November 21, 2014 The roof is brilliant! Great colour use too!
Jakorin Swiftsword Posted November 21, 2014 Once again, excellent work that does not fail to impress! That roof is fantastic and the groundwork is amazing.
Slegengr Posted November 21, 2014 Great build, LD! The house does look more ordinary than your usual builds, but it is still excellent. The stone walls have a nice level of texture and color mottling. The purple roof looks great as well. The ground style you are developing works quite well. The small details are great, such as the transparent smoke, the door and door hinges, those mushrooms, the black vines, the stone path... great! Brick on, LD! mccoyed Posted November 21, 2014 Wow. Legonardo, I honestly would have doubted that your building style would be feasible at such a small scale due to the intricate placements and connections you (seem) to make to keep it all together. You're one of the most experimental builders on GoH and I'm always looking forward to seeing what you do next.
MassEditor Posted November 21, 2014 Excellent work Legonardo, it's awesome to see you try some of these brilliant techniques on a smaller scale. The colors and greebling are splendid, as per usual. I think my favorite part is that door - it stands out so nicely from the rest of the build.
Hammerhand Posted November 22, 2014 Lovely house! I can't say anything more than's already been said, so great job!
soccerkid6 Posted November 22, 2014 Really great color choices in the landscape The roof on the house is incredible as well
Captain Braunsfeld Posted November 29, 2014 Fantastic. Impossible what you are able to do with those bricks (that are supposed to be placed in a strictly rectangular way ) Strange good use of colors!
de Gothia Posted December 8, 2014 He has done it again! Just wow! The colours works so well together!
LordDan Posted December 12, 2014 Great build!! It looks to me like the house is about to burst from the inside and escape the constraints of the regular shape :)
Rogue Angel Posted December 13, 2014 What a colorful build! They work great for this MoC, and really don'tlook out of place as you might expect. I love how the lower roof bulges out. Beautiful irregular details, as usual.
Yzalirk Posted December 13, 2014 Nice build! I really like the shingles you did for the roof but the colors are a bit wacky, to be honest.
ArchitectureFan Posted December 14, 2014 Wow! This is impossible, but still it is there. Very good!
