I wanted to get a 7938 at one time to mod into a Stadler GTW 2/6. I never was able to get it on discount so I missed out on it. I think it has good possibilties to MOD into various German DB regional railcars or Swiss red/white trains.

You could use 1x_ plates on side to expand the width of the train bases. The height of the base is 2 plates high.

I have the set on my hutch with the widest part of the ship 1" from the wall. I measured 12 inches from the wall, that gets to the center point of the stand. You would still have about 2-3" of stand dangling over the edge of your 12" shelf. You could try angling the ship against the wall but the stand is towards the back of the ship. I think you'll still have part of stand over the shelf edge. I am not going to test that. It's difficult to move around...

I think I saw it on ToysnBricks last year. I didn't think much of it as I use TnB for sales and deals info and that was way out of my price range.

Lego Baseplate Price increasing.
dr_spock replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
$9.99 CAD for a new tan baseplate doesn't seem so bad with BrickLink prices averaging $13CAD for tan new. -
Maybe we can do a prediction contest. Winners could get a piece of flex track. Here's mine from October last year. Emerald Night = Euro, steam, passenger Maersk = North America, diesel, cargo, Horizon Express = Euro, electric, passenger ------------------------------------------------------- ???? = North America, steam, cargo

Best way to organize a kid’s collection

I gave up trying to get my son to sort. The interesting thing is he can remember where a particular piece is in the pile of mess in the drawer tower. -

Very nice. Do you plan to do it again in another 11 months?

Not in Canada either. I tried looking for it yesterday on S@H and no find...

My kids are in dark ages. My nephew and niece still play with LEGO. I am happy with any LEGO gifts received.

Ok, who crashed the S@H site? -
Nice work. I prefer the old school yellow and Hans shot first.

Maybe they can design it in such a way that it is easy to replace the orange bits with red, white and blue.
